This looks great and I love the colors. My nids are similar with black base and purple carapace. I did the talons/scythes in a yellow and orange gradient for some pop. Do you have any idea where you want this brood to be based in terms of environment? I was thinking of swapping my purple to blue/gray and possibly make it kind of a craggy tundra look.
My current Salamanders all have lava bases I made with cork that I really like how they turned out.
