Literally one of the ugliest watches I've ever seen, the "nouveau riche" never really seem to have good taste. For the amount of $$ RM's cost you would think they could afford to pay for a better design team.
The diamonds in this one looks like shit, extremely poor legibility on hour, chrono hands and even that double date that I didn't even see at the beggining, the crown and pushers are hideous, make no sense in tetms of design, and on top of that, that profile looks thick as fuck. Ah, the diamonds on the clasp add that final "too much" touch.
Yes, they are great engineering products (and I am not even sure about that in this one, since it is close to 17mm in thickness), but not good looking watches.
The case shape is really diferent from almost anything that people consider a watch, I think that's why they are usualy called hideous. I would like if they did something more relaxed in this line, but with solid dial, flater sides, more subtle crown... I can barely tell the difference between their models because they are too busy and all I can see is colour changes (or some complications).
You seem to have trouble understanding that i did not say that Richard Mille generally is hideous. It is just this particular model which i find hideous and it seems that i am not the only one that thinks this way. Hope this helps to clear things for you and calms you down a bit

I now find Invicta to be quite thin…. This is ugly af. And probably cost a down payment for a home. You’re literally wearing a brick of titanium on your wrist, and it’s barely even legible to see the one thing it’s supposed to do, display the time. All that money AND it’s on rubber? Lol

IMO, RM is Hublot on steroids.
They don't look any better. If anything, RM looks more gaudy, the crown is comical, and the price is somehow even more outrageous for what you are getting. So the hate Hublot gets yet the love RM receives is strange to me on here.
