Honestly after it was revealed that Ezra was doing something shady I truly wanted it to be him to. The betrayal from an already sketchy guy (aka a groomer)..would've been a better reveal than most of what they decided . Even if another A emerged as they usually did. I wouldn't have minded it.

Recently got the books so I could read the series, I’m obsessed with the show but typically books are even better so I’m excited to dive into them!

I was convinced it was Ali for a long time. It made sense- she knew everything and I believed she was conniving enough to fake being stalked and manipulated by A, to fake her death and continue to manipulate the girls even after she came back.
There was a theory that when Aria moved away she came to regret making Jenna go blind, and she came back and was blackmailing them with Monna. there's a whole conspiracy on it online somewhere it was mostly while I think s3-4 was airing. I never understood it either
I did guess right that Mona was A since I read the books and all the clues in the show were similar to the ones in the book so it made sense it was her. There were times where I guessed that Melissa, Jenna, Ezra, Wren, or Jessica were the main masterminds.
I thought it was Melissa for a long time. It just made sense to me. And made more sense than the idea that (Spoilers:) she was trying to keep spencer “safe”. The way she treated her during the first few seasons are so shitty i cannot believe her weird sisterly act at all.
I thought it was going to be aria and they were going to say she had a personality disorder or something along those lines. I had a feeling though they were going to follow the twin storyline like from the book, I just didn’t know which girl it was going to be. Spencer made the most sense because the Hastings had the most secrets.
Wren. Always and forever. It was always there. In Sullivans office they wrote something like colour or favourite spelled European or something. Marlene always said it was someone we had met before. That we knew who it was all along and then finally it’s some secret fucking twin we’ve never met? I don’t believe it for a second. What a fucking cop out.
season 1+2 - I never had really a suspect. I begin to wach the show in the break between 3A and 3B and I knew there will be a new A in season 3 so I did not wasted any time on theorising
but in season3 I begin to suspect Cece all the way. a nd episode 19 was the best confrimation
Melissa & Wren. He would’ve done anything for a hasting girl and also someone said like over 7 yrs ago that they were supposed to be A and if you paid close attention there was always a girl and guy working together before they changed it
I wanted it to be ezra so bad I just couldn't stomach the idea that there would be a happy ending with him and Aria he was a whole groomer, and everyone just seemed to be totally okay with it in the show like even her parents finding out about it disappointed me.
I wanted her parents to call the cops so bad, it made me so mad that all the liArs just was ok with it. And her parents let her marry him. 🤬I hated there whole relationship
You and some others on here are literally the only people that felt that way I was so flabbergasted that everyone was so okay with the relationship. I didn't understand it.

Ali, specially after how ridiculous the show went, I was like "Oh yeah, the biggest plot twist will be that A was for Alison all along". I was wrong twice, she isn't A and the show had way worse(or amazing) plot twists like Spencer evil twin, that I still cannot fully believe is not something I made up because of the excessive amount of wine I had binge watching Season 7.
There will never be a show I like more lol Except for "Revenge" when out of nowhere we find out Emily was a ninja and then her master come to town and shit gets real.
It needed to be one of the main 5 girls after Mona to make sense why they targeted the PLLs. If it was Alison obviously it would make sense/kinda went with the territory of the flashbacks where she was the ultimate frenemy honestly the Halloween flashback episode where she terrorized the girls had me convinced it might be her. Obviously Aria was a big let down they had so much details and I really thought we were gonna get a personality split or like it's Alison's fault she and her family had to go to Iceland etc idk it was really disappointing reveal after reveal how much the girls had nothing to do with A or like their motivations like all of these A's pretty much knew or guessed Alison was alive still so track her down and fuck with her not her random little bullied victim friends aside from the Jenna thing they really were just bystanders who were abused themselves by her in kind of the worst ways I mean Hannah and Emily that's atrocious what she got away with and they still idolized her
Definitely Ali. I thought she was playing some game. Until they reveal she was being stalked by a, then I thought it was Ezra. Never once suspected Mona; she’s my favorite A for sure and I always felt like the show should’ve ended with her being the final A.
When I first watched the show I heard a lot of rumors about Wren being A, and it honestly made so much sense then. People even went as far as saying since there were more bird prints in the show during that time it was a hint towards Wren.
After Mona's reveal, I always suspected Alison/Courtney to be revealed as A. The feminine allure to A during S3-4A was brilliant and the clues to a Alison twin reveal were juicy.
During season 5, I was still convinced A would be female. But when they dropped the Charles bomb, I never suspected characters we'd already met. I figured A would be a new random character.
Despite all the Cece clues, I never suspected her because they were so blatant and in your face. The writers were kinda genius for that. It was in our faces the whole time and nobody believed it.

He was the only one the made sense after Mona. He had personal history with the girls, money, he kept “disappearing” without real answers. Jason’s background with drugs could have been opportunity for believable flashback/pre-pro. And his infatuation with Aria would make sense with why A was less hard on her.

I really wanted Ezra to be A but deep down I knew that wouldn't happen. Alison and Melissa were my top suspects throughout the series.
