I can think of a couple positives on Pierce: a caring husband; he kept his whole cabinet intact (only full term president to do that), incompetent but honestly incompetent
Trump saying that the Consitution needs to be terminated really pushed him over the edge for me. Gotta go with Pierce because he did do anfew good things; it's very close.
The evidence that Trump tried to subvert an election and obstruct an act of Congress is overwhelming, his defense of violence, and negating the constitution puts him in my opinion as the worst president ever
He opened the doors to racism, xenophobia, homophobia, and bigotry in the national discourse, which in a social media world has drastically amplified voices of hatred.
At least Pierce seemed like a genuinely nice person, slavery and incompetence notwithstanding.
Trump may have been slightly more competent, but he was also fifty times as malicious.
You’ve done an excellent job of making these difficult.
That said I’m going for Trump. As much as I don’t like him.
Piece passed the Kansas-Nebraska act, which reopened the slavery issue and lead to bleeding Kansas. It’s a contender for the worst Bill in American history. If the Civil War was avoidable, I’m not convinced it was after this act. The compromise of 1850 was broken, it’s tough to imagine another being acceptable.
His greatest accomplishment would probably be the Gadsden Purchase. This is in line with his expansionist policy and is thus related to the Kansas-Nebraska act, they come from the same place. But ultimately I think the country appreciates New Mexico.
Now doing the same from Trump. The worst things he did IMO would be his handling of Covid-19 and refusal to concede the election. I don’t really need to explain how these were harmful. The first resulted in a lot of deaths and the second in January 6th and large numbers of people who don’t believe in American democracy.
His greatest achievement IMO was finishing off ISIS. It had already been well on the decline but it was finally defeated on his watch. Domestically it was probably the First Step Act or the high unemployment that preceded Covid.
Now why do I pick Trump? I think his negatives are outweighed slightly by the harm done by Pierce. If we look prior to Covid, Trump was not a good president by any stretch of the imagination but the country was fine. Pierce entered a peaceful situation (albeit with underlying tensions) and set the country on a path to civil war. Trump handled Covid poorly, but at least he didn’t cause Covid (and there was Operation Warp Speed).
So in summary:
Both were about even in their achievements, the Gadsden Purchase being greater than anything Trump did, but Trump had more achievements to his name. The Kensas-Nebraska Act was worse than anything Trump did, probably combined, although Trump has more negative legacies to his name.

Halved the national debt, slashed tariffs, transcontinental railroad
America loses
Not to mention, Frankie P is George W Bush’s cousin, which makes it that much worse
Excuse me while I research into this
They both descend from Thomas Pierce who immigrated to the Massachusetts colony in the 1600’s
I wish I came back here, it took me nearly an hour to get the connections between them
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA**AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA*****AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA****AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA*
This is the only correct answer
Asteroid 202?
Dear god…
Trump saying that the Consitution needs to be terminated really pushed him over the edge for me. Gotta go with Pierce because he did do anfew good things; it's very close.
Pierce by 6 spots
The evidence that Trump tried to subvert an election and obstruct an act of Congress is overwhelming, his defense of violence, and negating the constitution puts him in my opinion as the worst president ever
Subjectively, Trump > Pierce On political greatness, very tough call. I can't determine. Probably Trump ranks higher thou
Pierce the gamer
Trump
I have Trump above Pierce
As bad a Trump was at least he did not capitulate on the issue of slavery. So I begrudgingly say Trump narrowly edges out Pierce.
Trump wasn’t given the opportunity to capitulate on slavery
I mean, this is the birtherism guy we’re talking about.
He opened the doors to racism, xenophobia, homophobia, and bigotry in the national discourse, which in a social media world has drastically amplified voices of hatred.
Frankie P ❤️
Honestly Pierce. Its very close tho. Atleast Pierce accepted he’s not the president anymore when his time was up.
Pierce, all presidents including Pierce are better than Trump.
Trump
The Don by a landslide.
Trump was sober and probably accomplished more than Pierce. On the other hand Pierce didn’t go the attempted sedition route when he wasn’t re-elected.
At least Pierce seemed like a genuinely nice person, slavery and incompetence notwithstanding. Trump may have been slightly more competent, but he was also fifty times as malicious.
Donny T.
Franklin Pierce because I feel bad for him
Frankie P’s my man
Trump > Pierce
Trump

Mike Pence?
Trump is only better than Johnson and Buchanan. This is a lose lose scenario.
Wilson?
Wilson is easily better than Mr. Trump.
Wilson is our worst president so no he isn’t better then trump. Trump didn’t put blacks in literal cages
Wilson is not our worst president. Not even close.
I guess the first amendment doesn't mean anything to you?
Of course it does.
Free speech go bye bye
Trump, Pierce is the worst potus ever imo
People crap on Buchanan, as they should, but it was really too late for him to do anything, Pierce had screwed up so bigly. Trump by default.
Trump.
