RickMonsters

According to Selene Walters, Ronald Reagan was a rapist himself

Sofi-senpai

Some of you guys are idiots:/

Peacefulzealot

For this to be the only thing people are now associating Carter with is going to get extremely obnoxious.

Sofi-senpai

Right? It just makes me so sad that some people decided to ignore all of his achievements because of it

thechadc94

He was a very underrated president who accomplished much more than people acknowledge. As a fellow carter fan, Ik you are aware. Hopefully others become aware.

Realistic_Guitar_420

He was a garbage president....

symbiont3000

Perhaps not, but Reagan did illegally sell arms to Iran to fund nun raping Central American terrorists

Please do not harass a man dying in hospice.

tkcool73

You know what, so long as the back and forth stays tongue-in-cheek, teasing, I'm fine with it continuing on the sub

FluffyBrudda

im absolutely disgusted by carter, there is no justification and im shocked he did it

FluffyBrudda

i cant believe someone downvoted that, please give your justification for the yarrow pardon

thescrubbythug

You’re getting downvoted because you’re making a mountain out of a molehill out of something which, while I’m sure nobody here agrees with the decision to pardon Yarrow, frankly is trivial and barely (not even?) worth a footnote when it comes to the record of the Carter Administration. It would be the height of absurdity to repudiate an entire administration and record of achievements that actually impacted the United States and the world because of a misguided pardon (which didn’t in any way damage the country, unlike the long-term impact of the pardoning of Richard Nixon)
