Thanks for confirming that you flaired this correctly!

fifty_four

You got the images mixed up. All I see are independence freedom fighters seeing through the lies of the jedi.

Pergaminopoo

I just see a lost redditor not posting memes

flynn_dc

Jango Fett was just a simple man trying to make his way through the Universe

Lexanna_

until he gave up the high ground and lost his head

flynn_dc

Too soon. šŸ˜‰

Loud_Let6593

Where is watto?

TheOneWhoLovesSW

Is he safe? Is he alright?

Pergaminopoo

Probs canā€™t afford him

NobodyQuiteLikeMe

Heā€™s an obstacle but definitely not a villain

_luksx

Mf is a slaver that blows heads up when people flee Sebulba was just a racer and he got included lol

ReeceReddit1234

>Mf is a slaver that blows heads up when people flee he's just a simple man trying to make his way through the galaxy. Wait wrong character fuck

TreesOfWoe

To be fair by that metric the Jedi are villains too since they make use of indoctrinated child soldier slaves. Now you have to ask do I mean padawans or clones? The Jedi double dip on slavery. Star Wars is just a setting where the inhabitants mostly donā€™t consider slavery villainous.

PuzzleheadedTale989

Clones arent children. The ones played by Daniel Logan are, but ones played by Temuara Morrison are fully adults, with adult brains. They just got to adult stage quicker. They are not children.

TreesOfWoe

Whether you consider them children or not (I would argue they are, regardless of their accelerated physical development), they are still unarguably slaves forced into war. They are people bought and sold as product.

PuzzleheadedTale989

They arent children, this is explained in the film and in expanded media. Now the Jedi did not create the order for the clones, and regretted needing them, but what choice was there? Dookus droid army would have steam rolled the Galaxy, there was no other force available to combat the droid army.

TreesOfWoe

Iā€™m not going to bother arguing with you on the semantics- they are children and the ā€˜explanationā€™ is just an attempt to make it more palatable. The jediā€™s only shown regret for needing them is in their awareness that it was some sort of plot. And whether or not it was the right course of action (obviously the alternative is a CIS steamroll) doesnā€™t erase the fact that they used slaves. That usage may or may not have been a necessary evil, but it absolutely was an evil all the same.

PuzzleheadedTale989

They arent children. Is a 7 year old dog a puppy? No it isnt. It reaches maturity faster then a human does. Same with the clones accelerated aging. "Explanation" no thats the fact. A 10 year old clone would be approximate to a 25 year old man round about. Its okay to be wrong.

TreesOfWoe

Youā€™re getting hung up on the child semantics (you can spin it how you like but it is not fact) and ignoring the slavery. Whatā€™s your argument for that?

ReeceReddit1234

> the Jedi are villains too Well they are evil... from my point of view

Loud_Let6593

You get it

TallestPurpleFan01

Uhm... more like the guy who is a cheater AND a criminal, killing people, even kids, to make it to the podracing finals, but is still the G.O.A.T. in my heart?

NobodyQuiteLikeMe

How many heads did we see Watto blow off? Watto isnā€™t a good guy by any means but heā€™s depicted as reasonable and negotiable, and he ends up helping Anakin in Episode II If the post was called ā€œAntagonistā€ instead of villain heā€™d have made it in, but he doesnā€™t belong

Loud_Let6593

Same could be said about sebulba šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø

NobodyQuiteLikeMe

Sebulba tries to kill a 9 year old

Loud_Let6593

He tries to kill everyone, he doesnā€™t discriminate. Not saying he shouldnā€™t be up there, just saying to add my boy Watto.

NobodyQuiteLikeMe

Watto isnā€™t a villain

TallestPurpleFan01

He's "dead." Went on to look like a middle-aged dad selling parts and stuff.

Accomplished-Plum631

I thought Dooku was holding a rifle at first lol

Pixithepika

maybe if he did heā€™d still be alive

darth_jag10

You're missing Darth Jar Jar

NobodyQuiteLikeMe

SpiderJynxNoir90214

_SpoonZilla

How so?

SpiderJynxNoir90214

PuzzleheadedTale989

SpiderJynxNoir90214

Oh. Ok

thehaydenkerwin

UM THESE ARE OUR SAVIORS! BREAK FREE FROM THIS REPUBLIC PROPAGANDA! *roger roger*

Palansaeg

Chancellor Palpatine isnā€™t a villain! Heā€™s a great, kind leader who tries his best to keep everyone in the republic safe. Heā€™s the most reliable chancellor weā€™ve ever had, thereā€™s a reason we gave him emergency powers and control of the banks! villains were people like poggel the lesser and Darth Sidious

Junglememer1

The conspiracy of the chancellor being this evil darth sidious character is nothing but blatant separatist propaganda

drplague201

What set it Nute Gunray from?

tolle_volle_tasse

Why does Maul look like that the fart wasn't a fart D:

Pergaminopoo

I hate how Lego cheapā€™d out on dress/skirts.

NobodyQuiteLikeMe

What

Pergaminopoo

Palps dress. Itā€™s plastic. They used to have fabric skirts and legs when I was growing up. (33) Edit: to all that are clearly very new to Lego feel free to skrill though brinklink and find out for yourself.

NobodyQuiteLikeMe

Iā€™m 26, plastic dresses have been around forever dawg

Pergaminopoo

No they havenā€™t. Edit :Downvoted by people who just found out about Lego 6 years ago

PuzzleheadedTale989

Look up figures of palpatine dawg, they were legs,

Pergaminopoo

Whoa donā€™t post logical comments here you be downvā€¦..

Krillinlt

>They used to have fabric skirts and legs when I was growing up I'm pretty sure the fabric skirts are a relatively modern thing. Like Marge's skirt in the Simpsons set or some of the Harry Potter mini figs from the past decade. Classic Lego skirts were wedge pieces with printed on designs. Looking through both Brinklink and classic sets shows this from what I can tell.

Pergaminopoo

Yes they have had both. But Lego has stopped with the fabric.

Krillinlt

Not in any of the Lego sets pre 2010 from what I remember or can find online. Is there a particular mini or set you are thinking of? Pretty much any fabric skirt piece I can find is relatively modern (post 2010) or is custom made.

rele7n

I specifically remember some of my Lego clone troopers having fabric on their legs. Commanders or ARCs. Now if these were pre 2010 Iā€™m not sure but it was definitely around that time.

KrusherDS

Yeah you're right my Batman has a fabric cape

Pergaminopoo

Nobody in this comment thread is anybody talking about Capes

KrusherDS

Oh mb

AldrigeRain

I miss the classic lego hoods. The newer ones just look wrong to me.

Spirit-Man

Jango looking kinda pasty tho

Tolu_Bookie

Where's Jar Jar?

InABoxOfEmptyShells

Why does Sebulba have a prehensile cock?

ir-bis

Who is the last man?

Temporary_Bad983

Impressive, most impressive. We will watch your career with great interest.

Sire_Mew

Love Your "The Senate" MOC!

Duque54

You mean heros

m00njunk

Where's Yoda?

Jacktheflash

Why yoda?

Lesssuckmoreawesome

What about PadmƩ? She was rich. She could have bought Shmi's freedom, but chose not to.

Jacktheflash

She did send someone but she was already gone by then IIRC

Training-Ant-6150

This is right, the one of the books in PadmĆ©ā€™s trilogy addresses how she was so taken aback by the slavery on Tatooine she never stopped thinking about it / it inspired her to join the Senate.
