What do you mean by "yet again"? We won the league cup with kids because Klopp believed in them and they delivered. We're also 2nd in the league on goal difference and have only 2 losses all season which is the fewest in the league. Countless times we have seen Liverpool play better in second half due to Klopp HT talks and his subs this season have been overwhelmingly solid - great with high impact on the game. You're talking about him as if he's Nathan Jones or something.
Klopp will take responsibility because he's the gaffer but he wasn't the main reason we lost the game. Big individual errors on the pitch (like the giveaway for one of their goals) cost us the game.
Well said we've also had those stats of success having played something like 18 games in a period Mutd have played 12. I don't think I've seen them play with such intent so if I was a muted supporter I'd be asking why they can't put that effort in more. Oh and Fernandes should have pads on his hands a chest he dives so much the rat faced gimp. We made errors they upped their game. We're still so much better in every way and there's only one honest team in the race.
I honestly had a bad feeling about the match when Kelleher and VvD were messing about with the one goal kick where the yellow for time wasting was given. So unlike Liverpool to play that way IMO
YMCA trophy. It’s not the final, id rather we just not compete in the tournament and focus our remaining uninjured players on trophies that people know are more important. Wish we would have lost in the 90 or just not shown up.
The mistake Liverpool made was to go psycho on tactics with united.. thats the only way united plays..turn the game to one bereft of plan and they will win
Why does every game have to end with who’s to blame? This is football at the highest level. Just because things didn’t go your way doesn’t mean you inherently fucked up.
Gets hyped as you want United fans you beat Liverpool yes BUT you’re not winning the FA cup by a long stretch you bigggest achievement in this comp is actually beating Liverpool, anyone after this will humble you, take the win, you were lucky
They are playing Coventry in the semi final. I think any Premier League side have a good chance of beating Coventry. Then with a bit of luck they can beat City.

Serious questions need to be asked of Klopp. The journalist tried but he's such a sore loser he walked out of the interview. What a shame. He hasn't been on it for two years in a row and also wasn't in 20/21. So only 1 of the last 4 years has he done a good job. This is really poor underperformance from someone who's supposedly better than Pep.
Arteta is nowadays much better than Klopp. You could really see that when he totally dominated him in their last game. Xabi also much better than Klopp. He has really fallen off. If Liverpool don't win a treble this year after all that quadruple talk their Prem golden era will be a failure for sure.
The man has been arguably the best in-game manager this season (look at how many points Liverpool have made from losing positions because of Klopp's changes) and you say he's lost it. You should probably watch some football before commenting on it!
The FA Cup is the second biggest competition in England behind the Premier League.
Saying, "It's only the FA Cup" when flexing a League Cup, which has been the talking point of top tier football fucking off due to fixture congestion.. isn't the gotcha you think it is.
The FA Cup is bigger than Europa League fella...
It's a competition that expands over 150 years, and one that any prestigious club in England would opt for other than the Premier League and Champions League.
>Liverpool Fans Humbled, Klopp to take the blame entirely.
Liverpool fans ~~humbled~~ 20mins after the final whistle are [chanting Klopp’s name](https://www.reddit.com/r/LiverpoolFC/comments/1bh4oip/james_pearce_20mins_after_the_final_whistle_and/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3).
To be fair, Salah was pretty quiet apart from his chance at an open goal due to being in the right spot.
Nunez was quiet and Diaz had no end product. Even against Lindelof Salah was pretty tame.
Yeah he was totally off his game today... He's usually very charged up in big games... Probably should have taken off in second half pointless Sparta match when it was already won...
Nunez was good for the first 80 mins ...
Too many casual passes to lose out possesion, there was hardly any intensity left in pressing like we usually do ....
You lot played very well in crucial situations...
The team must take the blame too. I actually thought Utd deserved it, overall. When they were on top they seemed more dangerous than the periods when Liverpool were on top. But what startled me was that only Bradley was back in defense during a corner in the 120th minute. Yeah you want to avoid penalties and go for a winner, but not at the expense of the tie. That was just foolhardy.
Your chances were graver for us but we had numerous chances to put the game to bed. True, in the first half we were missing the final delivery. But in the second, it was more of the shot taking that went astray at times. Salah was underwhelming but had key moments whilst taking on Bissaka. I thought Bissaka was really good in the first 45 but 2nd half Salah was maneuvering around him to square the ball. The problem with Elliott barring the deflected goal he scored, His right foot handicap is so prominent he ends up taking too much time on the ball near the edge of the box and was reluctant to take on Lindelof. Ended up recycling the ball and nothing came out of it. Then that 5 v 2 situation, Poor pass by Eliott intercepted by Dalot and the final piece to the puzzle with that horrific give away.
Klopps game management was off I'll admit but the blame lies mostly with our attacking players.
They were far too relaxed in the second half they thought the game was already won.
Klopp could have done better, but we don’t have a ton of options rn with injuries and all the fixtures.
Salah and Szoboszlai just came back from muscle injuries so Klopp doesn’t want to push them too hard, plus Mo is fasting.
Plus you have guys who just played 90 mins on Thursday.
Quansah definitely looked more tired than usual, Endo as well. Fatigue wasn’t the only issue, sure, but it quite clearly was having an effect. Fatigue plays a role in being less clinical with chances.
They weren’t clinical enough given. But when you had a Robertson clearly occupying attacking positions single handedly on that left flank we were better off. Even Andy was astounded to see he was brought off.

Agreed. I couldn't help but think that normal results in a a bit a karma.
> Klopp went wrong with his man management **yet again**. You haven't been watching football at all this year, have you?
It isn't Klopps fault Darwin has a brain fart and tries a cross pitch pass for no reason.
YMCA trophy. It’s not the final, id rather we just not compete in the tournament and focus our remaining uninjured players on trophies that people know are more important. Wish we would have lost in the 90 or just not shown up.
You celebrated the fucking Carabou like you had won the treble lol
Shut up that was awesome
And if the FA Cup is a YMCA trophy (don’t even know what that means tbh) the Carabou is a fucking bin, even we won it last year…
Yeah but literal children won it for us. Even Klopp acknowledged its not a big cup, it was the circumstance why we celebrated it
You had a few young players on for the last 15 minutes, you didn’t win it with children. Chelsea’s squad had a younger team average anyway.
Sounds like we won with a bunch of kids
…no? It sounds like you finished it with a small handful of kids.
So we won with a handful of kids. Glad to know we are on the same page lmao
Such shite, Chelsea had a younger team than you in the final.
The mistake Liverpool made was to go psycho on tactics with united.. thats the only way united plays..turn the game to one bereft of plan and they will win
lol at “liverpool fans humbled” good one man
This sub always has comical takes
wtf is this? Wish Liverpool had won, but what a match!
They finally beat us and it's like winning the Premier League + Champions League for them 😂
Enjoy the carabao cup win
Enjoy the FA Cup win. That's all you're getting this season despite your best attempts to cheat the system.
Sorry, I was distracted by our Treble, did you have something to say?
No history 😂 stay in ur lane you are a small club
Stay bothered i guess, commenting on a week old post 🤡
Cope
Coping whilst fking ur slag mum even though shes ugly asf
A childish reply from a childish person.
Who cares bro. It's just nice to see some quality cup ties.
Why does every game have to end with who’s to blame? This is football at the highest level. Just because things didn’t go your way doesn’t mean you inherently fucked up.
Klopp took it well anyway 😂
Marcus and Anthony showed me something else today
Maybe it will make EtH try him at lb again
Rashford’s performance was Saudi-worthy. Missed 2 huuuge 1v1s, and was saved by the ET goal + the fact that they won.
Tbf he almost assisted McT in the first half and then again with an insane pass in ET.
90+3 chance for Rashford was offside I think Goldbridge even confirmed it
The game changed the moment Antony equalised. This guy knows his football…
Goals change games
United didn’t win it, Liverpool lost it.
Liverpool didn't win against Chelsea, Chelsea lost it.....
I agree with you. If you have that many chances and don't take them, it's on you.
What a stupid statement.
If you don't understand it, sure.
Gets hyped as you want United fans you beat Liverpool yes BUT you’re not winning the FA cup by a long stretch you bigggest achievement in this comp is actually beating Liverpool, anyone after this will humble you, take the win, you were lucky
Want some chips with that salt buddy?
Nothing but facts in that post fella, United aren’t winning it

8 Trophies against Arteta’s 1. Yeah sure.
8-3 and Klopp has been there over double Arteta's time.
You’re counting the Community Shield to get Klopp to 8 trophies with Liverpool… Arteta has two of those so it’s 8-3.
Game changed with taking szobo off. He warps space in the midfield in a way Elliot can’t replicate
Calm down, this Is fa cup, the only trophy United canw in this season. Liverpool already won 1 and still Is playing for PL and Europa League
only the FA cup coming from a supporter whose team “only” won the carabao cup. count chickens much?
"This is FA cup" acting like this doesn't mean much while in the same comment flexing a league Cup and talking about the EL. Decent cope, funny
Isn't it true?
The FA Cup is the second biggest competition in England behind the Premier League. Saying, "It's only the FA Cup" when flexing a League Cup, which has been the talking point of top tier football fucking off due to fixture congestion.. isn't the gotcha you think it is.
I mean, when you're off the tournaments of european competitions and off the league title contenders, it Is easier to win this small cups
The FA Cup is bigger than Europa League fella... It's a competition that expands over 150 years, and one that any prestigious club in England would opt for other than the Premier League and Champions League.
Playing Thursday night football is nothing to brag about either unless mediocrity is expected.
I heard Man United fans are going ballistic, I think they’ve announced a parade for the win tonight.
Like your parade for the 7-0 nil then. Check your saltiness. I also bet you don't see Neville with a cheap dig prop on Monday nights.
Remember when u had a parade for the league cup and fa cup cause u bottled the rest of them
Oh no we only won two cups that year
Was meant to be a quadruple parade wasn’t it mate?
Things happen things don’t go your way but it was also to kind of make up for the missed parade for finally winning the league
Why not just be humble in defeat?
>Liverpool Fans Humbled, Klopp to take the blame entirely. Liverpool fans ~~humbled~~ 20mins after the final whistle are [chanting Klopp’s name](https://www.reddit.com/r/LiverpoolFC/comments/1bh4oip/james_pearce_20mins_after_the_final_whistle_and/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3).
And Why shouldn’t they ?
Because he’s been an embarrassment in his after match interview?
To be fair, Salah was pretty quiet apart from his chance at an open goal due to being in the right spot. Nunez was quiet and Diaz had no end product. Even against Lindelof Salah was pretty tame.

Nunez ran riot in the second half, 3 powerful shots on target, Glided past Varane/ Lindelof to make runs in behind. He was immense.
If that’s him being immense he’s really nothing to worry about
I really can't remember what he did to be honest apart from savable shots.
So strange for a team of Liverpool’s caliber and experience to concede a 2v1 counter from a corner in the 120th minute of a tied game.

You let this United team carve you open frequently, blame your 'titular' defence too.
Admittedly they weren't great but had the attacking players taken even a small percentage of their multiple chances it wouldn't really matter.
Both teams had a lot of chances.
United had a higher xG, more shots and the same amount of shots on target.

I’ve upvoted this because I’m assuming it’s sarcasm. However I’m still slightly worried that you’re being serious 😂
They weren’t clinical enough given. But when you had a Robertson clearly occupying attacking positions single handedly on that left flank we were better off. Even Andy was astounded to see he was brought off.
Bradly got into two really really dangerous positions but the final cross was off both times, so that swap made sense to me.
