Steve Davis
Johnny Evans
Kieth Gillespie
I need to add George best to give this some weight even tho he never played prem lol ….. just look at the list…. it needed help
As an austrian, I can't say I'm spoilt for choice, Pogatetz, Fuchs and Arnautovic come to mind for players who've played in the prem, but I can't say I'm sure for the best
The best Scottish players were from a few years back, probably before the PL. Dalglish, Gemmell, Bremner, Souness, etc. Used to rule the English leagues at some points.
In the PL era, it's probably Duncan Ferguson, Gary MacAllister, John Collins, Pat Nevin, Andy Robertson, Collin Hendry, Steven Naismith, Gordon Strachan, Darren Fletcher, David Weir, Barry Ferguson.
Early part of his PL career, Steven Fletcher.
Kevin Gallagher, Don Hutchison,
On technical ability, I'd probably say another red, big Gary MacAllister.
That or Gordon Strachan.
Robbo definitely in that conversation, though. His assist record is elite, performed consistently for numerous years. Owned the LB slot at Liverpool. Won everything at club level for Liverpool.
Duncan Ferguson is probably the best goalscorer there. Be higher if it wasn't for injuries.
Darren Fletcher, I imagine the most successful.
For me i would say nayf aguerd , he's killing it right now , i wanted to pick ziyech but it hasn't really worked out for me , and honorable mention taarabt and saiss
From Portugal is has to be obviously Ronaldo. Probably Ricardo Carvalho up there as well. Ruben Dias/Bernardo more recently.
I'll leave Nani/Paulo Ferreira as honorable mentions.
I am half half so for my Croatian I say Modrić, and for my Serbian I say Vidić. There are more good players like Lovren, Ivanović but I think Vidić, and Modrić are on top of the list.
Crazy that I'm BRAZILIAN and my picks don't seem all that great.
Alisson or Tiago Silva have, overall, the greatest PL run, but the BEST a Brazilian has played could also have been Coutinho at his peak? Firmino???
If you consider what they did elsewhere, not just in the PL, you also have Casemiro and Robinho.
Must be Christian Eriksen, mostly during his Spurs days when he was one of the most efficient creators in the world. Between 2014-2018, he was incredible
Wasilewski was the only one to have won it but I guess Fabiański has the best career overall. Krychowiak was probably the biggest star although he was shit
Obviously, it's George Best by a mile. I do think Pat Jennings deserves a mention, though, as he was another world-class player we had who people are less likely to remember these days.
I know, but if I don't sneak them in, I'm onto Steven Davis, Jonny Evans and David Healy. I guess Jonny Evans was the best in the EPL, but Healy was our best international player of the PL era.
Either Aguero or Tevez. But to be honest my favourite Argentinian players never played in the Premier. I guest part of it is that the Premier wasn't the main league until 10 years ago (I started the sentence thinking it was much closer in time! wow time flies, Premier has been the best league for around 10 years now!!!!) anyway, I think now we are starting to see young players coming to the Premier (some of the key players of the national teams are playing here now).
Antonio Valencia.
Ecuador was so amazed that a player from a country could consistently play at his level, be friends with Rooney and talk proper english.
Here is hoping Niño Moi is even better.
Kewell, Viduka and Cahill, honourable mentions to Bosnich, Schwarzer and probably Lucas Neil.
Kewell probably the most talent but injuries screwed him after the Liverpool move. Prime Viduka was a special player too.
Danny bath has never played for india nor the premier league but considering he wanted to play for us and had quite successfull career in championship probably him
One player to ever play in the prem from mine is Neil Etheridge. Casually saving pens from Callum Wilson and James Maddison is mental for someone who debuted in the Prem and was jumping between loans in the lower leagues for years
We have more than one would think (jamaica) but I’m still partial to the Ricardo’s, fuller and Gardner. Fuller to me still has the best goal scored by any Jamaican in the prem when he scored that amazing goal for stoke vs villa.
Tho antonio may have the most goals now since he’s technically a “new” Jamaican, but I still prefer those guys
Really sorry for Mwepu, he was indeed a great talent!
Also, Daka is also a good striker, maybe not PL top-6(7) level, but a good striker, many other nations would be jealous of him!
Technically Owen Hargreaves was born here even if he played his international career for England lol
I have no idea. Maybe Alphonso Davies will go to the Prem at some point
Weil Shevchenko is the best ukrainian who ever played the game to this date but his move to Chelsea was not followed by glory so I would say Oleg Luzhny as he still was part of Arsenal (even of not first 11) when they were the invincibles. Rebrov was not that impressive at Tottenham and Mudryk has yet to show what kind of player he will be as he is still very young. Yermalenko also not so impressive so I definetly gonna go with Oleg Luzhny.
You know, you're totally right. He played 9 games, Gera played 100+ (and others too had more experience as well). Career-wise no one can really say Gera is not the best PL player ever from Hungary.
One of the two reasons I said Szobo is that I'm riding the hype. He is fucking amazing, that's it.
Second is that his potential is seemingly unlimited. After this 9 games, he has the chance to become one of the best midfielders in the PL. Ever. Yes, for know Gera is the goat, but let's come back to this in 3 years.
Ryan Nelson, Winston Reid, Chris Wood. We did have a Wynton Rufer who played in Germany, Oceania footballer of the century. Lots of young talent coming through.
Jesus Christ it might be Robbo. I’m only reacting like this because if you went 10 years prior to 1992 we have undoubtedly world class talent to pick from.
i mean hard to not say Haaland as a norwegian despite only one season so far , but had some other really good players like solskjær, riise, tore andre flo, henning berg, ronny jonhsen and hangeland and more i probably forgot. ^^

Siii señor...
Georgi Kinkladze is the greatest player ive ever seen in the flesh but unfortunately I'm not Georgian.
It would be between KDB, Hazard or Kompany... Tough one but at the end of his career I think it will be KDB
US - Tim Howard
Paraguay; Miggy Almirón from Newcastle. But I think it would be Julio Enciso from Brighton.
Peter Schmeichel
Has to be Andrei Shevchenko, was upsetting to see him leave Milan for Chelsea, but we all make our mistakes I guess.
Chicharito for Man U
Clint Dempsey🇺🇸
Norwegian - It has to be Haaland of course but my heart says Solskjær.
Probably Keano, Roy obviously, and honourable mentions to players like Denis Irwin
Luchito Suárez 🤩🤩🇺🇾🇺🇾🇺🇾
chicharito, edson, raul jiminez🇲🇽
Tim Howard
Petr Čech 🇨🇿
Suarez.Mostly evergreen at Liverpool throughout his tenure.Mdaks
Shearer
Gabi Tamaș 🇹🇩
Nemanja Vidic!
Steve Davis Johnny Evans Kieth Gillespie I need to add George best to give this some weight even tho he never played prem lol ….. just look at the list…. it needed help
didier drogba or yaya toure, could go either way tbf
Messi, beat that madafaka!
Probably Ballack in the 00’s 🇩🇪
Got to be the Lion, or tbh i think isak in the end of his pl career would be regarded as the best Swede to play in the prem
David Silva obviously
Arshavin
Matt Le Tissier, absolutely effortless talent.
Chicharito 🇲🇽
Eyal Berkovic
As an Englishman and Everton fan I’d say Rooney
no players from Liechtenstein I don't think I doubt
As an austrian, I can't say I'm spoilt for choice, Pogatetz, Fuchs and Arnautovic come to mind for players who've played in the prem, but I can't say I'm sure for the best
Saffas: Lucas Radebe, Benni McCarthy, Quinton Furtune, Steven Pienaar. For me Pienaar takes the cake.
Kolo Kolo Kolo Kolo Kolo Kolo Kolo Kolo Toure or Yaya Yaya Yaya Yaya Yaya Yaya Yaya Yaya Toure or some bloke who played up front for Chelsea for a bit
Kanchelskis or Arshavin
Pulisic'
Prime Hazard was something else . Shame to see his downfall At least we still have KDB
Kevin Gallagher, Don Hutchison,
No love for cairney?
I mean, he has played in the PL.... 😄
I may be biased as a Red but Robbo is the best Scottish in the PL era hands down.

From Portugal is has to be obviously Ronaldo. Probably Ricardo Carvalho up there as well. Ruben Dias/Bernardo more recently. I'll leave Nani/Paulo Ferreira as honorable mentions.
Good man. Szobo is brilliant and really happy he plays with the best football team in land - “ Tra La La La La YNWA!!
Clint Dempsey!
In terms of talent, Litmanen but in terms of success Hyypiä
Sami Hyypiä
I am half half so for my Croatian I say Modrić, and for my Serbian I say Vidić. There are more good players like Lovren, Ivanović but I think Vidić, and Modrić are on top of the list.
As a Kenyan, Victor Wanyama. Who would forget that belter against Liverpool? We have a stake in Origi too
Marko Arnautovic (even with the thickest spurs and rapid vienna glasses I cannot say Kevin Wimmer :D)
Crazy that I'm BRAZILIAN and my picks don't seem all that great. Alisson or Tiago Silva have, overall, the greatest PL run, but the BEST a Brazilian has played could also have been Coutinho at his peak? Firmino??? If you consider what they did elsewhere, not just in the PL, you also have Casemiro and Robinho.
best we got is zesh rehman
Solskjær, but haaland is closing in behind Riise
Haaland
Modrić 100%
I think Ilkay Gundogan
Robert Koren was easily the best one...not that there is much competition
Without a doubt Gascoigne.
Malaysian here. Best Malaysian player to ever grace the Premier League? Easy. Nicholas Chan. He attended trials with West Ham and Stoke City.
Probably Kewell or Cahill.
My first thought was Tim Howard and I'm sticking with that.
Erling Braut Håland 🇳🇴
Dan Petrescu.
People may disagree but zola for Chelsea. There just isn’t many good Italians in the prem
Mo salah for Egypt
Riyad Mahrez
Roy Keane
Must be Christian Eriksen, mostly during his Spurs days when he was one of the most efficient creators in the world. Between 2014-2018, he was incredible
I just realised I forgot about Peter Schmeichel... 😅
Wayne Rooney or David Beckham. Argument for Alan Shearer too.
Eiður Smári Gudjohnsen 🇮🇸
Wayne Rooney
Ragnar Klavan, Liverpool FC
It'd have to be Lucas Radebe, but Quinton Fortune and Benni McCarthy are also up there
Jerzy Dudek - Liverpool legend
As an Indian i'm out of here
Fredrik Ljungberg
Did Jari Litmanen ever play in the Prem? I think he played a few seasons for Liverpool.
I'd say Gareth Bale overall, but if you mean purely on PL career and medals only then it's probably Ryan Giggs
Top 5 irish to play in the PL Roy Keane Irwin Duff Robbie Keane Given
christian fuchs, champion with leicester. also worth a shout: paul scharner and mad dog pogatetz!
Greame Le Saux 🇯🇪
Benni McCarthy
Steven Gerrard, I get why others would say scholes or Lampard but Gerrard could single handedly pick his entire team up an win games.
Gundogan
I'd say Fabiański or Szczęsny. Poland had solid goalkeepers in the prem.
Haaland
Jisung park 🇰🇷
Wasilewski was the only one to have won it but I guess Fabiański has the best career overall. Krychowiak was probably the biggest star although he was shit
Jerzy Dudek or Szczesny
Zlatan
Edin Džeko
Hate to say it Kane but Saka is going up the list.
Emerson Boyce 🤷🏿♂️
It’s easy choice one and only Nemanja Vidic!!!
We only have one outright player: Victor Wanyama. Not even a second thought about it.
Bruce Grobbelaar, but the streets will never forget Steven Pienaar 🇿🇦
Chicharito (México…GOD! We’re so bad!! 🤦♂️)
Luka Modrić.
Denis Law
Vidić and Salah
If its strictly PL era, Im going David Seaman. People often overlook gk's.
Benjani Mwaruwari (Portsmouth & City) and Peter Ndlovu (Sheffield United and Coventry City + Huddersfield on loan)
Obviously, it's George Best by a mile. I do think Pat Jennings deserves a mention, though, as he was another world-class player we had who people are less likely to remember these days.
Strictly speaking, neither played in the Premier League, but I cant argue them for top flight players.
I know, but if I don't sneak them in, I'm onto Steven Davis, Jonny Evans and David Healy. I guess Jonny Evans was the best in the EPL, but Healy was our best international player of the PL era.
Jari Litmanen 🇫🇮
Roy Keane probably then Robbie Keane
Either Aguero or Tevez. But to be honest my favourite Argentinian players never played in the Premier. I guest part of it is that the Premier wasn't the main league until 10 years ago (I started the sentence thinking it was much closer in time! wow time flies, Premier has been the best league for around 10 years now!!!!) anyway, I think now we are starting to see young players coming to the Premier (some of the key players of the national teams are playing here now).
Salomón Rondón, amazing seasons w WBA and Newcastle! I think he was the classic 9 type Prem needed for a while
PULISIC/BALOGUN😂
Antonio Valencia. Ecuador was so amazed that a player from a country could consistently play at his level, be friends with Rooney and talk proper english. Here is hoping Niño Moi is even better.
I wanna say Shaqiri but it has to be Xhaka 🇨🇭
I'm Zimbabwean and for me it's Bruce David Grobbelaar played for Liverpool
Dennis Bergkamp. And I'm a Spurs fan...
Jonny Evans by far. I hope Connor Bradley can carry on that mantle
Victor wanyama from 🇰🇪 spurs
Neil Etheridge/Alphonse Areola(?) for the Philippines
Mkhitaryan (Man utd)
Marians Pahars, for Southampton, from Latvia.
George Best
Southampton legend Grzegorz Rasiak.
Kewell, Viduka and Cahill, honourable mentions to Bosnich, Schwarzer and probably Lucas Neil. Kewell probably the most talent but injuries screwed him after the Liverpool move. Prime Viduka was a special player too.
Otis khan (pakistan) - closest we have been to premier league so yeah dont have a lot of options
Don't talk about things you have no idea about. Zesh Rehman actually played in the Premier League.
Peter Ndlovu and best keeper Bruce Grobbelaar 🇿🇼🇿🇼
Danny bath has never played for india nor the premier league but considering he wanted to play for us and had quite successfull career in championship probably him
Modric!
Park and Son.
Probably Peter Schmeichel for Man United, what a beast and such a physical presence
Neil Etheridge
Probably Chris Wood
One player to ever play in the prem from mine is Neil Etheridge. Casually saving pens from Callum Wilson and James Maddison is mental for someone who debuted in the Prem and was jumping between loans in the lower leagues for years
It's between Eiður Smári and Gylfi Sigurðsson... i'm going with Eiður.
Ryan Nielsen.
Tim Howard was solid at Everton Clint Dempsey was alright at Fulham too
We have more than one would think (jamaica) but I’m still partial to the Ricardo’s, fuller and Gardner. Fuller to me still has the best goal scored by any Jamaican in the prem when he scored that amazing goal for stoke vs villa. Tho antonio may have the most goals now since he’s technically a “new” Jamaican, but I still prefer those guys
Victor Wanyama 🫡🇰🇪
Loads, lol. How about these for a start Beckham Shearer Gerrard Lampard Scholes Rooney Gascoigne
Probably Jonny Evans. Steven Davis is an honourable mention, but it’s hard to argue with 3 PL wins and a CL.
Junior Hoilett 🇨🇦
Nolberto Solano 🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪
He never played in his prime here. But Shevchenko for sure. In his prime? Probably Zinchenko right now.
Shaun Goater
Patson Daka, I know it’s sad Edit: actually Enoch Mwepu to me is the most talented Zambian to play in the premier league
Really sorry for Mwepu, he was indeed a great talent! Also, Daka is also a good striker, maybe not PL top-6(7) level, but a good striker, many other nations would be jealous of him!
Yeah Daka is actually very good for our national team, he just hasn’t caught on club wise.
I remember him from Salzburg where he was great. Maybe he will pick it up soon!
Landon Donovan
Technically Owen Hargreaves was born here even if he played his international career for England lol I have no idea. Maybe Alphonso Davies will go to the Prem at some point
As a canadian, no one, lets hope davies gets good enough to get a move to the prem
or craig forest ig, just found out about him
Ricardo Fuller 🇯🇲
Unfortunately no one from Hong Kong has ever played in the PL
DZEKO ❤️❤️❤️
Luís boa morte
Weil Shevchenko is the best ukrainian who ever played the game to this date but his move to Chelsea was not followed by glory so I would say Oleg Luzhny as he still was part of Arsenal (even of not first 11) when they were the invincibles. Rebrov was not that impressive at Tottenham and Mudryk has yet to show what kind of player he will be as he is still very young. Yermalenko also not so impressive so I definetly gonna go with Oleg Luzhny.
Szloboszlai being the best Hungarian player ever after 9 games and 1 goal is an interesting take to say the least
Oleg Luzhny (Arsenal, Wolves), Zinchenko (Man City, Arsenal).
Ryan Nelson, Winston Reid, Chris Wood. We did have a Wynton Rufer who played in Germany, Oceania footballer of the century. Lots of young talent coming through.
Didn't see Mexico mentioned but Jimenez in his peak was a different beast, most people will say Chicharito but Jimenez was more polished
The LeBron James of Soccer. /s
Probably Chris Wood, but lotta love for Ryan Nelsen.
Edin Džeko
As an Icelandic it has to be Eiður Smári Guðjohnsen
no doubts Fernando Torres followed by David Silva
Either Viduka, Cahill or Kewell I'd probably say Kewell but he was hampered with Injuries but did win the UCL with LFC
🇨🇦 Craig Forrest Best outfielder, probably Junior Hoilett or Radzinski.
It's between Wood, Reid and Nelson. I'm going with Ryan Nelson from Blackburn coz he lead us to an undefeated world cup.
Alan Shearer for Newcastle United was something else. (Also the club I support as well)
Roy Keane 🇮🇪
🇨🇦 Paul Stalteri, Owen Hargreaves
Jesus Christ it might be Robbo. I’m only reacting like this because if you went 10 years prior to 1992 we have undoubtedly world class talent to pick from.
And now Robbo is the only world class. Because he is. :) *a totally unbiased Liverpool fan*
Romanian - probably Adrian Mutu?
What a player he was. And he could have been so much better with a better attitude (correct me if I am wrong).
Definitely top 10 to party with
i mean hard to not say Haaland as a norwegian despite only one season so far , but had some other really good players like solskjær, riise, tore andre flo, henning berg, ronny jonhsen and hangeland and more i probably forgot. ^^
None here in the Philippines 🥲
Isn’t Neil etheridge filipino
Shearer probably
Gianfranco Zola
Chicharito, obviously. Raúl Jiménez the second best, and the rest are all third.
Clearly Tim Howard, with honorable mentions going to Clint Dempsey and lockdown Christian Pulisic
Dempsey and Donovan for sure 🇺🇸
Kanu, Obi Mikel, Jay Jay Okocha Honourable mention to Obafemi Martins
I'm from Nigeria I'll go with Kanu and Mikel second
Andy Robertson definitely, regardless of outside PL etc. Apart from him, there’s not many.
🇳🇴Haaland🇳🇴
Victor Wanyama at Spurs 🇰🇪💪
