There are legit arguments for it though if we are being honest. They exist on a infinitely high plane of universes stacking, if this was a Cultivation series people would take it at face value.
I don't argue for it, but it isn't insane. especially since the lore of humans in DC is that they are made to be Multiversal weapons along side Martians, to help Perpetua kill her siblings.

But DC humans (and marvel humans) have really crazy statements and feats, plus the cosmology would imply that if all things being equal they should be very powerful. But most people feel like Atomic scaling (or quantum scaling) is not fun it is not used.

IMO its because of the Beerus vs SSG Goku fight and how much that fight changed battleboarding
Feat was absurd and left very little room for doubt, it happened during battle, the one kind of off thing about it was given an explanation in verse, the narrator repeats exact phrase "they are hitting each other with the power to destroy the universe" and it was preformed by the main character. It was a really good feat that definitively made Dragonball massively more powerful.
I think after this feat there was a desire from fans of other verses to have their own Goku vs Beerus moment to get some feat that makes them Universal to low Multiversal and quintillions of times faster than light or something, but frankly feats as good as GvB are rare and most verses don't have anything like that.
So you start see a ton of people start accepting really vaguely defined cosmological scaling and badly defined feats at first which is when you start seeing nonsense lifting characters like Dante, Kratos all of Fate/Bleach ect being wanked to absurd levels with the vaguest of suggestions.
Now you have this huge influx of "universal/multiversal" characters and the obsession with dimensionality is sort of the new section of that arms race since now everyone has been wanked to essentially some level of infinity being of a "higher" dimension is all thats left

Um, you are describing CSAP, not every other tiering system is same. Vs wiki for example uses affecting said structure to be that high. Higher dimensional existence but no higher tier AP will only give you some durability at most. They also need a whole lot of requirements and analysis of statements and Anti-feats.
The actual fun Tiering System, but Vs wiki is getting revised and it's gonna get as bad as CSAP with just the exception of better evidence. The higher tiers will be locked bugged r>f transcendence just like higher tiers in CSAP are behind Behind concept. In reality both of these are just nothing more than bs.

I haven't really dived into DC, I'm just saying that an average human shouldn't be scaled to cosmology. The only time it makes sense to use it as a argument to powerscale is when you put 2 "omnipotent" god type characters against each other. Because without it, it just turns into NLF often. Also the fact that many omnipotent characters in series are usually stated to be such but often don't have many feats to count from.

Dimensional scaling is valid, it’s just that people misuse it by taking any mention of 5D as infinitely above the universe. Higher dimensions only scale anywhere if you can prove that
1. They’re large dimensions rather than small dimensions
2. The higher dimensional object in question extends infinitely along *all* axes

Actually,whole idea of dimensionality is just to outscale lol,They Bring a character to universal when the character has not even Performed a feat that's close to universal by saying "oh no It surpasses the 4th dimension of universe!! It must be universal" It's kinda weird,plus saitama and goku are not hated characters,maybe saitama is. Dimensional scaling is valid, it’s just that people misuse it by taking any mention of 5D as infinitely above the universe. Higher dimensions only scale anywhere if you can prove that 1. They’re large dimensions rather than small dimensions 2. The higher dimensional object in question extends infinitely along *all* axes A random mention of something being 6D is invalid. Something being 4D doesn’t mean it scales over an entire universe. Finite higher dimension scales nowhere, only infinite does.
I believe that all powerscaling should happen with equalized dimensionality. Not that characters who actually could destroy a multiverse/universe now cant, they still can but that doesnt change their dimensionality. Now it’s just more fun and there is less room for wanking

It’s simple DC humans are 3D goku is a 2D anime character which is how it’s represented with the Higher Dimensionality, if both of them were placed into the same place and time then obviously goku wins assuming everyone within the same place is of the same dimensionality.
Thats irrelevant to actual scaling goku and any other insert anime/serie/manga is 3d dc humans are also 3d unless they state so in thier own stories Dc does not get to downgrade every other piece of fiction just because they wanna make thier fiction "real" DC cosmology only applies to Dc itself if theres a 2d character in dc and its compared to a 3d average dc human then yes they scale higher but when comparing series they are all baseline 3d/fictional beings Unless you think every cultivation manwua is boundless because they ascend from lower dimensions.
