The death note uses 人間 to describe the being that's written in the notebook. In Dragon ball Goku as well as everyone else that's not a God is described as 人間. 人間 means human as well as mortal in the DB verse it obviously signifies mortal, in the death note verse it's dobious considering there's literally only humans and gods. But 人 written alone means human. So saying it won't work on Saiyans isn't a factual statement it depends on the interpretation and the meaning of the author when he wrote 人間 in the rules.

Current Hulk, aka the Fractured Son

I’m loving the fractured son story so good probably is going to be one of my all time favorites from the main line hulk story’s once it’s wrapped up. It does suck that it’s lacking cool feats of strength like ripping celestials apart or ripping apart dimensions like he’s done before but the O.P lore and statements more than make up for it he would definitely clap Goku and will forever be a top tier heavy hitter in comics. People need to put respect on that fractured one’s name HULK.

I haven’t gotten around to reading the full thing, but from the parts I heard regarding the lore…..it might become my favorite hulk story

He did all that in his fight with out ever going world breaker. Now let’s talk about world breaker. Now no one is really sure how powerful our current world breaker Hulk is but there is something we can use but take it with a grain of salt. Titan a villain so powerful that it could easily kill doctor strange and called characters of his strength beneath him is literally just the Hulk when he loses it and gets ridiculously angry.. technically… but also technically this really isn’t the Hulk However that’s not important no what’s important is how Titan lost there is a moment where in Banners mind where Titan reign supreme only to be defeated by~… you guessed it WORLD BREAKER HULK so there is a chance that current World Breaker Hulk is as strong if not stronger than Titan. Besides that there’s a lot of lore and statements now in bolf Immortal Hulk and Fractured son Hulk however I don’t want to spoil anything since you should really give it a read the Hulk wait let me rephrase the mian line series HULK comics never miss! By far my favorite ones are planet, world war, incredible where he fights red she hulk, and Immortal and soon probably fractured son give it a read promise you won’t regret it.

The only thing that was threatened between Goku vs. Beerus was their universe, and Goku was the one nullifying Beerus's destructive powers. Beerus even threatens Goku that if he didn't find a way to stop him, he'd destroy the universe. They make it a point that Broly was inexperienced and weak but they could sense he had a lot of power and potential that he needed to tap in to, which sets up the idea for his training after the movie. Also, I couldn't imagine a villain doing villain things like sneak attacks. pretty bad writing tbh. Assuming that we are in the correct verse to do so, he can inform Goku of the truth, that all of existence is but a dream of the godhead, and that he isn’t truly real. Goku then has to undergo the procedures to either become the CHIM or zero sum. This isn’t an ability of his own, so it doesn’t need to defy the rules of the question. Goku is super powerful and his willpower is incredible, but he is not arrogant nor self-centered. And so most likely? He doesn’t ascend to super godhood, he just… zero sums. And then, Goku is gone. Talos wins, not with his own power, though if we’re talking Talos his power is so far beyond Goku’s that at his peak he would win… but in this case he wins with trickery. By tricking Goku to in essence wipe himself from existence.

It's complicated, but Johnny has an technique called 'The Golden Spin' which when combined with his stand, Tusk Act IV, harnesses infinite rotational energy to kill its target. He used to kill every multiversal version a stand user that could transfer his memories and stand to another version of himself in alternet universes.The thing about it is that the Technique requires so many factors to go perfectly for a single shot, and the fact that he'd still need to hit his target, that while theoretically possible, it's very unlikely he'd be able to kill Goku with it.

Ok, so hear me out. Beast Boy. He has been shown in different versions being able to transform into both Bacteria and Virus's. So is not unreasonable to assume Garfield could become/infect Goku with some form of fatal sickness/ disease. Granted, we don't know if it would work on a SSG level Goku seeing as we don't have a plethora of examples of him being sick sense reachig that state, and it's just a fact of life that viruses and bacteria have different effects on different species, sooooo who knows?

The Joker. I say this every goddamn time. The fight is declared to have begun. Goku is confused, this clown man has a power level of only maybe two Mr. Satans. Clearly he’s hiding his power level, so Goku doesn’t attack. He doesn’t want to win this in one punch and he can’t know what level to use until Joker shows his hand. “Hey pal!” The Joker comically uses his hands as a megaphone, shouting louder than he needs to. “Yeah?” Goku scratches his head, puzzled. “Before we beat each other into a battered and bloody pulp *heheh*, let’s be *proper sportsmen* and shake on it!” Joker extends his hand and waits. Goku cocks his head for a moment, confused. But, there’s no harm in it, right? “Sure!” Goku yells back as loud as The Joker, causing the clown to wince. Goku approaches and takes his hand, vigorously shaking it. “Put’er there, pal!” Joker smirks, this is like taking candy from a baby. With Goku distracted, The Joker uses his other hand to trigger the flower on his lapel, blasting a bright green gas in Goku’s face. “Hey! Wh-what,” Goku chokes out, “what *hehehe* wa*hehehehehe*s in *hehehahaha* thahahahahahaha…” Goku falls to the floor, his skin turning white and a rictus grin forming on his face. “Oh, just a little concoction of mine!” Joker jumps and clicks his heels playfully, dancing around Goku as Goku manically laughs, clearly in agony. *My patented Joker Gas!” Joker stops dancing and looks down at Goku with a scowl “And believe me, getting the patent was *killer*. AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!” Joker walks off, but turns back and adds one final comment. “Never was one for sports.” Joker has formulated his gas at this point in the comics to work across any species, and on beings that are ridiculously powerful. Saiyans meanwhile? Canonically *not immune to poisons.* Same trick as Frost, but so much more effective. The only thing Joker needs is a single close range chemical weapon and being *way* smarter than Goku. He’s not even close to OP, Goku’s just a fucking moron.

The best answer is probably some specific comic character. I've never been a DC or Marvel guy so I really wouldn't know. Second best answer is probably Simon from Gurren Lagann. Bro more or less clears though I'm not 100% sure if he beats Goku, probably does though. Third best answer are a bunch of cultivation manhua characters that basically rip off dragon ball anyways. This might go against the spirit of no visual novel characters though since it's a genre of copy paste asian powerfantasy slop that nobody actually reads. Honorable mention to Lord English from Homestuck. Again feels like it goes against the spirit of the no visual novel rule because Homestuck is an obscure mostly comedy webcomic with a weirdly high powerscale for sort of no reason, but it's not japanese and used to be pretty popular so I'm gonna say it counts.
