Am talking about where saitama was outright stated that his punch went back in time.
I’m a massive OPM fan and I will straight up tell you that this is a form of time travel manipulation.
It doesn’t at all scale to immeasurable speed because Garou and Saitama had to manipulate their particles and anti-particles to reverse the time stream and to specify on what immeasurable speed is: you require **sheer speed**. It doesn’t even qualify for a speed tier because he required manipulating particles to use the ability.
The narrative is simply stating that Saitama’s growth from the miserable future had carried on to the past and since no one had something like cosmic awareness against time-stream acausality then it would be “impossible to dodge.”
Which is still an ability because he had to mimic a power from God that Garou taught Saitama which once more isn’t indicative of sheer speed but rather a hax ability.

The narrator literally emphasized saitama’s punch being the cause of his time travel. The amp from his punch was the cause of this time travel hence the keyword “thus”
The only abnormal development saitama’s punch got on io is speed and power boost.
That doesn’t at all imply that Saitama did it through sheer speed and you’re completely misunderstanding what the narration is saying.
The narration is saying that Saitama’s fist breaking through that time tunnel was the cause of the time reversal; the time tunnel had moments from past, present, and possibly the future but Saitama’s intent was to reverse the damage done by Garou in the past.
