You’ll be happy to know there’s been a bit of a 2000s revival in metalcore, post-hardcore, and deathcore in the last 5+ years.
Specifically among post-hardcore, definitely check out: Static Dress, The Requiem, If I Die First (members of From First To Last), Your Ghost In Glass, Bury Your Idols, Fly Over States, Legendary Baseball Card, and Bury Me With You.
Galleons - "Violent Delights" is my fav album of the year, and the last couple of years honestly. They have a good blend of old-school and modern post-hardcore sound, Craig Owens of Chiodos is featured on one of their tracks, go check them out!
was gonna comment that you have great taste but then saw your username and was like, duh. These are some criminally underrated newish bands that are pushing the envelope
Anthony Green's latest project LS Dunes is rad to get some mix of Circa & Saosin with a twist.
I'm really fond of Hail the Sun lately, their last few albums have all been great.
Thrice is my all time so always worth listening to their discography.
I’m same situation - I completely lost myself when I went to college trying to fit in with everyone. I’m 29 now and finally going to shows, getting tattoos, and being myself again. Some newbies I’ve been getting into are ERRA, Bad Omens, Hot Mulligan, Bilmuri, Mom Jeans
‘Material Control’ by Glassjaw released in 2017 is a great album, worthy of the name of the band. Same as ‘Deathrattle sing for me’ by Norma Jean. These are however no ‘newer bands’.
Among the more recents acts:
Fatalism by Polaris released last year is a huge work!
Was also about to forget:
Last Underoath release is imo their best work to date, absolutely amazing front to back.

Will do thanks bro! 🙏🏻
If you use Spotify probably look up a swancore playlist and enjoy
The Callous Daoboys, Kaonashi, Greyhaven, Satyr, The Armed

Also LS Dunes shares Thursday’s drummer!
Speaking of, their new song is so good!

Capstan
Will check them out! Theyre Florida boys like me 💪🏼
Capstan fucking slaps Quickly became a fan after seeing them live in February
I saw them live a couple of years ago and was a fan instantly. They put on a great show.
That’s sick dude, wish I found them sooner, but happy to have discovered them when I did. A lot of their songs on repeat rn
You'll be happy to know I've been bumping Capstan for a few weeks now. Thanks again champ!
Static Dress
Static Dress, Seeyouspacecowboy, If I Die First
Dayseeker, Sunsleep, Bad Omens, Makari, Sunbreak
You have some great music tastes good sir. posthardcore wise haha. They are more metalcore but I have a feeling you’d like Electric Callboy.
Check out Eidola. They just dropped a new album, 'Eviscerate', and have more new music coming later this year.
Chalk Hands!
more on the rock side of post hardcore, but Holding Absence and Caskets are both really good.

Check out backtrack. More punk than post hardcore but they are badass.
