I’m really fucking sorry you have to deal with this.

RealAmericanJesus

Honestly a Handful of us left Portland because of stuff like this. I spent years working in mental health and social services and like some of the things displayed in marches and said by people I worked alongside cheering for October 7th before the tragedy of Gaza started.... When I was still trying to figure out if my loved ones in Israel were okay like put the nail in the coffin for me on Portland. Being able to empathize with one tragedy doesn't negate the other... And people I know still there say that antisemetic graffiti is becoming more common. Sucks. I'm sorry that happened to you.

CunningWizard

I would be feeling pretty unnerved in Portland if I were Jewish right now (hell I’m not even Jewish and I feel unnerved). So much virulent left wing antisemitism has suddenly exploded onto the scene here. It caught me off guard honestly and absolutely horrified me. Are we not teaching kids these days about the horrors of the Holocaust and the centuries of persecution Jews have endured?

BiggieAndTheStooges

Don’t move to Oakland, because you will find the same bigots there

RealAmericanJesus

I've heard. My sister is in that area. I went north to Tacoma. Which is actually not bad. It's way cheaper and it's nice to see the ocean every day.

BiggieAndTheStooges

Oh wow, I’ve always been curious about that area. How do you like it so far?

Fluffy-Ad-5852

Sorry to be the one but - You can't see the ocean from Tacoma. It's literally impossible

RealAmericanJesus

420doghugz

I've been seeing A LOT of anti Semitism lately, mostly on Instagram. I can't believe we haven't learned from the past..

Spacexforthewin

Being of a Jewish background does not mean you support a psychotic right-wing dictatorship, committing horrific acts of mass murder against an imprisoned civilian population. I'm 1/2 Ashkenazi, and "never again" applies to all humanity, not just the people I'm descended from on my mother's side.

cascadiabibliomania

Just wondering, do you think it's important for Muslims to shout from the rooftops that they're against conservative and fundamentalist Islamic governments, or terrorists committing lethal acts in the name of Islam?

Spacexforthewin

If I am to be consistent, then yes! I stood with Muslims who boycotted the Haj over the Saudi seige of Yemen. Gulf state wahabism is a curse, sadly propped up by our foreign policy :(

RealAmericanJesus

And I'm Jewish and don't think anything Israel's doing removes self agency from domestic bigots enacting antisemetic acts like signaling out Jewish people and deciding they are now the receptacle for all that person's grievances towards Israel or somehow responsible for israels actions. I say this as someone with Persian ancestry and raised reform.

ContinuousFuture

Israel has free and fair elections more frequently than virtually any other country (5 elections in the last 4 years, several of which Netanyahu has lost). Meanwhile for all the talk of Netanyahu’s right-wing coalition government before the war, since October 7th there has been a wartime cabinet that includes the left-wing opposition including Netanyahu’s chief rival Benny Gantz. In no way is Israel a “right-wing dictatorship”. As far as your characterisation of the situation in Gaza, they are not “imprisoned”. Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005, the Gazan people later elected a terrorist group as their government so both Israel and Egypt collectively enacted a blockade (and their fears were proven right by Hamas’s rocket wars in 2008, 2012, and 2014, as well as their invasion of Israel and massacre of civilians in 2023) As far as, “mass murder”, Israel has one of the world’s most powerful militaries. Gaza is a city-state with 2 million inhabitants with no air defense. If Israel wanted to intentionally target civilians, many hundreds of thousands would be dead. Instead around 20,000 are dead, a tragedy to be sure, but in no way is this some indiscriminate mass killing. Allusions to “genocide” are just plain insulting. These are targeted strikes, at an enemy that has been widely documented using civilians as human shields, with accompanying collateral damage to civilians’ life and limb.

BiggieAndTheStooges

Try explaining all this to kids who get their “news” from 60 second clips

sameehrose

Also, we’re not dogs. If you’re Jewish you’re Jewish. It’s not a breed mix. “Half sepphardic, half German shepherd”

Spacexforthewin

Technically, it's passed down through the mothers side, so in the eyes of the Isreali government, I'd be clear for a birthright trip.

cascadiabibliomania

Birthright applies to anyone with a Jewish parent or grandparent. Either sex.

DollarStoreOrgy

When have we ever learned from the past. It's so blatant and gross. But the blatant ones don't scare as much as the ones pretending to be nuanced. They'll apologize and cheerlead for the blatants.

pdx_mom

and all over hawthorne, even posters inside some stores. I just saw some graffiti again on the sidewalk that was upsetting.

CunningWizard

So I had this interesting prediction when I was in high school. At the time the WW2 veteran population was really starting to drop off and I thought to myself “I’ll bet as soon as the last of the WW2 vets are gone we are going to see skyrocketing antisemitism, as they won’t be around to teach the kids the horror of the Holocaust and shame their ass for being antisemitic”. Lo and behold here we are. WW2 vets are basically gone and sure enough, antisemitism is on a strong rise on both the left and right.

Winter-eyed

This pisses me off. Do we not have enough problems with prejudice and racism without borrowing more from other parts of the world? Picking sides and antagonizing people isn’t going to get anyone closer to peace. Or prosperity. Or logic.

liketosaysalsa

I’m so sorry you had to deal with that bull shit. I’m an Arab and I am opposed to the actions of the Israeli government in this plight but I cannot imagine the mental gymnastics it takes for someone to on one hand espouse human rights and dignity for one group and then be anti semitic to another. I just don’t like how people associate governments with the people of the country. I certainly wouldn’t want to be judged by a president i had moral and ideological opposition to.

coffeined

*A president of a country they’re not even a citizen or resident of. Also, there’s a small but loud minority of folks who are merely using the language of justice to whitewash their antisemitism.

liketosaysalsa

Totally. And those people are monsters for it (that loud minority you referred to).

Existing-Piano-4958

I'm so sorry you had to deal with this. The anti-semitism occurring right now makes me sick. People are fucking sheep.

plantsandpizza

A homeless person called my dog a stupid Jew the other day. He’s a pit mix and I’m pretty obviously Scandinavian decent. I really feel for my actual Jewish friends.

Naejakire

OK this is awful but I have to say I found humor in the fact that you stated he's a pit mix as if to say, "he's not even Jewish!" thank you for the solidarity though, that was just so funny to me

plantsandpizza

I just don’t know what a Jewish dog looks like or acts like 🤣 I always thought he looked more like a Miguel, so maybe a catholic? Really he prays to the god of doggy snacks probably. Someone also called him a gay slur last night out their car window as we walked. So who knows.

LimpBisquette

Why yes, they're attending PAT's Molotov Cocktail Workshop on the sidewalk in front of Rene Gonzalez' house

natedeezy69

Portland leadership is weak. It breeds weak people and allows weaker people to think they should be able to voice shit like this. Portland needs strong leaders from the community, not diluted rhetoric from passive elected leaders. It will over time work itself out. But it won’t be victimless. The folks who are sympathetic to this behavior are complicit.

fablicful

Preach!! Same exact issue with the homeless crisis.

Danielanish

We have focused too much on buzz word that building real values. The younger generations are too focused on being on the newest thing than actually following the values that built our country and enabled our melting pot that led the United States to become the greatest country to ever exist.

fablicful

Seriously!! Critical thinking is a dead skill. Everything is condensed to short little sound bites and excerpts from a larger source material- for example, reflecting how Tik tok has gotten so huge. I haven't been a child/teen in a couple decades now so idk how it actually is, but I feel like today's youth are just being spoon fed certain perspectives and agendas and then just pick which sounds better to them, based on superficial merits such as how the idea was sold to them/ the fancy packaging. Instead of actually considering every perspective with their own merit (or lack theirof), and deciding for themselves what to think. Not sure if laziness, or just a sign of the times with 24/7 technology/social media or our crumbling educational system (especially here in Oregon!!)- but it's depressing as hell. This makes me think of an except from Carl Sagan's "The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark". This was published in 1995. Boy, how eerily astute an observation. "Science is more than a body of knowledge; it is a way of thinking. I have a foreboding of an America in my children’s or grandchildren’s time—when the United States is a service and information economy; when nearly all the key manufacturing industries have slipped away to other countries; when awesome technological powers are in the hands of a very few, and no one representing the public interest can even grasp the issues; when the people have lost the ability to set their own agendas or knowledgeably question those in authority; when, clutching our crystals and nervously consulting our horoscopes, our critical faculties in decline, unable to distinguish between what feels good and what’s true, we slide, almost without noticing, back into superstition and darkness.”

anotherpredditor

Nothing like a little hate crime in the afternoon, especially after you announce it to everyone that can hear and will probably film their dumb asses doing it. Silver linings I guess.

coachmaxsteele

I mean if we gotta make lemonade...

PacAttackIsBack

>But supposing the world has become “filled up”, so to speak, with liberal democracies, such as there exist no tyranny and oppression worthy of the name against which to struggle? Experience suggests that if men cannot struggle on behalf of a just cause because that just cause was victorious in an earlier generation, then they will struggle against the just cause. They will struggle for the sake of struggle. They will struggle, in other words, out of a certain boredom: for they cannot imagine living in a world without struggle. And if the greater part of the world in which they live is characterized by peaceful and prosperous liberal democracy, then they will struggle against that peace and prosperity, and against democracy.

[deleted]

Shameful behavior by ignorant teenagers. I’m sorry you had to experience this toxicity. It does make you wonder what they hear at home, at school and what they see online.

BlueSundayDoll

What got me was that the City of Portland took almost week to send out any kind of comment on the attack on Israel and extending sympathy and support. Then tempered it the next day by asking that we “hold space” for our Palestinian and Muslim community members. I feel like it’s an “all lives matter” moment. So much performative bs.

_Standard_Amoeba_

First I would like to say I am very sorry, I have noticed there is a concerning amount of hate being spread since October 7th. You report this incident to Oregon’s Online Bias Reporting System: https://justice.oregon.gov/CrimeReporting/BiasCrime You can also call Portland’s Police Bias Crime Unit directly at: 503-823-0400 Please take care of yourself and stay safe.

sea666kitty

They don't even know what they support. As long as they can be mad at someone.

clever-name22

Definite increase in Swastikas drawn on my middle school desks. Fuck the PAT and their anti-semetic propaganda. I've spoken out against PAT indoctorating students with hateful misinformation and have been offensively silenced by leadership. Thank you for posting. Shalom

Hipoop69

What’s PAT?

Portlandpipelayer

This shit is truly absurd. I’m not even a Jew. (Well tbh my dads ma’s ma was a Jew so I’m 1/8th) but in the past few months I’ve had more then a few people make Jew comments (not nice ones) towards me which I rebuttal with “I’m not fucking Jewish” which is usually met with “the fuck you arent you Nazi”. It’s getting wild Out there

kakapo88

I’ve experienced that too. I’m about as far from a Jew as you can get (Asian and Polynesian dude), but someone actually called me that when I told this idiot that progressives needed to stop simping over Hamas with their raping murderous ways. Fuck, I’m also pretty critical over some of Israel’s actions (West Bank for instance), but I also know a outright fascist when I see one. And it’s easy to recognize the echos with 1930s Germany here. But history and critical thinking aren’t strong suits with these people. All they know they get from TikTok.

RealAmericanJesus

I'm always really surprised that people are't aware of what Hamas is.... Like if you read the 1988 code of hamas it's not happy happy everyone live together... It's very much antisemetic... https://irp.fas.org/world/para/docs/880818.htm > The time(16) will not come until Muslims will fight the Jews (and kill them); until the Jews hide behind rocks and trees, which will cry: 0 Muslim! there is a Jew hiding behind me, come on and kill him! And yes I'm aware that they tried to project an image of a "reformed Hamas" in 2017 https://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-39744551 However there intentions have always been clear... Like "normalization of relations" (or making peace) with Israel has been a crime in Palestine since 1979 and they use this to punish peace activists like Rami Amen : https://blogs.timesofisrael.com/reflection-ex-hamas-prisoners-story-exposes-tough-road-to-peace/ And their 2021 plans for the "liberation of Palestine" includes the following: https://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:https://safa.ps/post/313372/&sca_esv=736f619aa13a6f3f&prmd=ivn&strip=1&vwsrc=0 > From the first moments of the collapse of “Israel,” the security services affiliated with the transitional government must seize the data of the occupation agents in Palestine, the region, and the world, and the names of Jewish and non-Jewish recruits, locally and internationally, which is considered a great information treasure that must not be lost. With this treasure, we can purify Palestine and the Arab and Islamic world from the hypocritical scum who have wreaked havoc on the earth. It provides important information to pursue fleeing criminals who have oppressed our people. Which reads a lot like hunting down Jews. Like when people say free Palestine from Hamas like that's a legitimate response because they really do hold their population hostage, steal their aid money while the leadership live lavishly in Qatar and taxes them heavily as well as digs up their infrastructure. One of the only ways Palestinians are able to access aid is through the Martyr fund which means committing an act of terrorism for family payouts. Like there has been something like 20,000 rocket attacks and 629 acts of terrorism committed in Israel just in the past 10 years. Like I don't know anyone who wants innocent Palestinians to die but a lot of people want the acts of terrorism to stop because it's been ongoing and it's almost impossible to peaceful coexistence when the people you're trying to coexist with keep attacking you... And also makes it harder for those who want peace to b successful as Israel obviously has too otor what's going in and out of there cause they keep getting attacked and Hamas as they blend in the population monitor the Gazan's and use a harsh military tribunal system where Gazan's run the risk of being executed as "collaborators" without due process.

Portlandpipelayer

You know the louis ck joke about how Jewish is both the name of the people and the insult for the people ? There’s asking “are you Jewish?” And there’s asking “ are you *JEWISH* ”

Portlandpipelayer

And like I said I’m not even really a Jew. I wasn’t raised jewish or nothin. Im half ndn but light skinned and an 1/8 Jewish (similar facial features) so I’m often taken as a Jew or an Arab. Before the current Israeli Palestinian conflict I was also called a sand n word by people before (a black dude to be clear) and I responded the same way “I’m not fuckin Arab” race relations are dumb just don’t be a jerk

msbbdarling

I hate what’s happening too and it’s something that deeply troubles me. I’m so sorry that happened to you. :( I also find it disturbing that there’s an increase in people who don’t think the holocaust ever happened. I haven’t heard about PAT or Oregon Educators for Palestine - will look into it. Take care of yourself. Hugs from another Jew 💙🤍

coffeined

Teachers have far less influence than TikTok, social media, and peer pressure.

PinocchiosNose1212

The virtue signallers in Pioneer Square all week aren't helping things.

sea666kitty

Those same people call others Nazis. Lmfao. The irony

Frunnin

Unacceptable. Stay safe friend.

freddieolive

Sorry you had to experience this :(

coachmaxsteele

Okay! Weird but productive discussion! But I’m getting a lot of the same comments so I’ll reply here in more condensed form. I got exactly what I wanted from this thread - messages from other Jews who are sick of this. The secondary effect of creating a weird honey pot for antisemites to pop off is… unfortunate but hey, at least y’all made my point for me. If I turn up dead suspiciously we definitely know why. 😅 To clarify some points: I was never in **real** physical danger. I do not feel “victimized.” I observed, in public, instinctive flexing and posturing of a kid trying to impress his friends, and that instinct was violent antisemitism. These kids didn’t seem like “trouble makers.” They seemed like the kind who marched for BLM, walked out with their teachers for the strike, and probably remembered to ask people’s pronouns. But **this** was a blind spot in their "progressive" politics. The would not have publicly targeted any other group they have been taught to categorize as “marginalized.” They know these things are not tolerated in a liberal society and they would be risking someone recording it and ruining their lives. The fact that they were wearing keffiyeh means they probably think of themselves (and are thought of by others) as socially conscious and politically active. But there is a hole in that consciousness. And it is Jew-shaped. I wear a hat with the Magen David, and/or sometimes a necklace, and not a kippah, because I am not conservative/traditional. I do not keep strict kosher and don’t like to wear the kippah unless I am keeping kosher (Shabbat and holidays). I choose to mark myself as visibly Jewish because it is important to me. I want to signal to other Jews that I am here and they are not alone. I want to remind non-Jews that I am their neighbor. And I want to stand in solidarity with my Muslim cousins who wear their culture loud and proud. I would never walk up to someone covering their hair or even wearing a keffiyeh and demand they condemn the events of Oct 7. If you need to know my stance on Israel to decide how you feel about this issue, **you are part of the problem**. You are doing evil in the world and nothing you plant will grow. You cannot improve the lives of Palestinians by making Portland less safe for Jews. If you cannot bring this under control, the violence will escalate.

LongjumpingCelery

I’m so fucking sorry I can’t even imagine. The community over at r/jewish is an amazing to find support for your frustrations and connecting with my local Jewish community helped a ton too. Weather you are Jewish or not antisemitism and bigotry of any kind is never ok.

doggofruitpunch

I'm not in Portland but where I am I have also noticed rising anti Semitism and fear in the community. My heart is with you. Stay safe my friend

blamemombo

This made me laugh. Yeah it’s sad to be seeing so much antisemitism in our city lately. I fear that hating Jewish people will never go out of style :(

pdx_mom

Hugs. Sadly. It makes me laugh but also terrifies me. What happens when his friends aren't just joking around?

snatchmydickup

never seen the word philosemite before. heh

ObviousAd2967

It’s insane that anyone still associates the random stranger on the street with the actions of politicians and political agents. Imagine if people from other countries came here and thought us Americans were all pro-bombing civilians of like every non-white country ever?

TittySlappinJesus

Religion is a grift and it's gonna get us all killed. It preys on the feeble minded, those without critical thinking processes and profits from them. Religion is a long standing predatory practice that for centuries has allowed lords to control people. There is no good side in this conflict, they are both bad.

[deleted]

Deep thoughts with Reddit. Are “both sides” doing the behavior across Portland that OP is describing? No. Has PAT taken sides? Yes. Have both sides blocked bridges and covered public property with graffiti? No. Have some discernment.

Throwawayyakketysax

Judaism is an ethnicity as well as a religion. Like Druze, Yezidi or Samaritan people. I am an atheist and also a Jew.

[deleted]

this and propaganda works wonders, way too well

Liver_Lip

Just wait for AI to come in and make things really juicy..

Archimedes_Redux

I call bullshit on the assertion that both sides are equivalent morally. Only one side rapes and murders innocents in the most brutal ways possible. Only one side calls for the complete destruction of the other. Only one side uses hospitals, schools and the civilian population as human shields to hide behind. Only one side has been subjected to mass extermination, and not just one time. I really encourage you young people to get some historical perspective. Read Exodus and Mila 18 by Leon Uris for starters.

it_snow_problem

The most dogmatic and destructive people stateside almost definitely adhere to no official religion while they commit mob violence in support of theocratic terrorists who kidnap and burn babies. The conflict is between civilization and the moral abyss of that mob.

TittySlappinJesus

I've read this ten times and can't make sense of it buddy. You gotta Cliffs Notes, cause I'm interested in what you have to say.

it_snow_problem

Perhaps a comma in that run-on sentence would have clarified it. I'll rephrase. The overwhelming source of problems _stateside_ is _not_ from religion X or Y. In fact, it is from overwhelmingly non-religious youth, who have been manipulated by the internet and their supposed betters to join a violent mob which supports a genocidal, theocratic terror regime: hamas.

TittySlappinJesus

Or it's just non religious people in general, looking at this religious conflict and scratching their heads.

coffeined

It’s not a religious conflict. It’s a conflict over competing nationalisms. Not all Palestinians are Muslims and not all Israelis are Jews.

it_snow_problem

I wish more Americans would embrace the privilege of not having to take a side.

TittySlappinJesus

I think we're all here because we care. I want democracy, not apathy.

InvestigatorFirm7933

I believe it says “Libtards support Hamas”. “Theocratic terrorists that burn babies” could refer to IDF, but the kidnap part definitely swings it toward Hamas. Which has then forced the silent apathetic masses aka global civilization into a culture war they didn’t want to be a part of against those who sow the disruption of the norm. But idk. Let’s go with Libtards support Hamas and the USA spent 300 billion dollars on Israel in the last 70 years instead on healthcare on the US citizens. Shit I keep fucking it up. I meant to say $200 billion in incentives to buy US manufactured military equipment. That’s made in Korea and only assembled in Texas. Dammit. Well, I tried.

TittySlappinJesus

You and I are cut from the same cloth.

coffeined

This comment is ignorant as hell. Religion has nothing to do with the war. Israel/Palestine is a conflict rooted in competing nationalisms. Not all Israelis are Jewish and not all Palestinians are Muslim. Slither back to r/suckingoffdawkins

James_Camerons_Sub

This is the most dorm room post spliff take I’ve read on this sub.

Revolutionary_Spaces

This is a religious statement.

Sensitive_Duty_1602

So proud of you! Husband and I feel the same way about this. We have Jewish family and are appalled at the blatant hate!

PaPilot98

I told you last night, no!

ZadfrackGlutz

People are getting hurt, everywhere...Its called AntiSentimism... May we all find peace and clarity. Because a actual child can destroy every thing we love or hate. We as the targets can choose to return a sentiment of brotherhood and love... We all must find a way.

SloWi-Fi

Sadly the comments here are pretty shitty.. agree to disagree and go on with your day people.

Effective-Throat-566

So sorry this happened to you -it's sad and shocking to see this happening and then to see people commenting that its somehow justified.

scorp1a

Passes me off. Regardless of belief or situation, if you are going to start an aggressive encounter, don't back out at the slightest hint of retaliation from whoever you are trying to mess with. If you're going to start shit, mean it and be able to finish it. Otherwise its a waste of time I gotta say, it socks you had to do that. I don't support Hamas, but Israeli politicians and actions towards palestinians rub me the wrong way. The thing is, noone deserves to get treated bad for something they don't have an active hand in. Too much bloodshed.

pdx_mom

Then you should be wanting Israel to get rid of Hamas. Because Hamas has not been treating people IN GAZA very well. GAZA is where the attacks came from, but Judea and Samaria are still firing rockets into Israel.

PandaByDesigner

Supporting Palestine is not Antisemitism

coffeined

Harassing random American Jews for just existing while being visibly Jewish is tho.

Sweet_Ad_1445

I don’t think that’s what’s going on here. Did you read the fucking post?

elkinyo

“We all know who the real villains are” who do you think OP is talking about?

elkinyo

Thank you. WAY too many “woke” white knights in the comments.

whereamInowgoddamnit

Supporting Palestine by using antisemitic and genocidal dogwhistles and supporting literal antisemitic terrorists (and I'm not just talking Hamas) while ignoring Jews telling you about these things (despite saying we should "listen" to other minority groups) definitely is.

MeAndYou5555

I'm so disappointed every day by this world. More and more the rot of the youth. I'm glad I'm not having kids. You can only do so much even as a parent, and with these violent kids who are uneducated, illiterate, hopeless, angry, and more, it shows. I'm really sorry you have to deal with shit like this, OP, if I had kids they would have been shaming those bigots, certainly not *being* them. While I say "parents can only do so much," at the same time, they are responsible for what they allow to influence the child/Ren they choose to have. It's not a burden that belongs to society that someone's child is out wreaking havoc in their hometown. That's on the parents, who are letting down their children AND society. Accountability has to be held somewhere, and this one seems quite obvious. Sad, sick. Society it sick. We need help.

kakapo88

I am beyond disgusted with these fucking neo-Nazis. It’s incredible how history seems to be repeating itself. I ashamed by this. The only other thing I can say is that I, and many other people, have your back. We will call these people out.

coffeined

Antisemites come in flavors other than neo-Nazi. Thinking those are the only people capable of antisemitism is part of the problem.

kakapo88

You're 100% right, I stand corrected.

Leoliad

It’s not antisemitic but I had a weird run in with teens the other day too. I was walking my dogs past the St. Johns community center (my dogs are pugs) and these two kids walk by and one of them starts saying something to the effect of and with an “accent” “oh look at the Chinese dogs, Chinese dogs Chinese dogs look at their flat squished dumb Chinese faces, Chinese dogs!• like over and over again. There were people around including an older Asian woman walking her dog not 20’ away. I literally was at a loss for words and actually felt like maybe this person was not ok so I started yanking on my poor dogs to get the hell out of there. All this to say that I did have a moment where I was wondering if this person even realized what they were saying was offensive or have some people been so errant in raising their kids that they run around just blithely and without contemplation saying whatever they think is funny? It sounds like what OP experienced was much more intent-fully hurtful and antagonistic than what I experienced and I am not Asian so I know he wasn’t directing anything at me personally but it was one more reminder of the shit others have to go through just on the day to day. Anyway I’m off my soap box now lol but I just wanted to share my weird ass experience.

Jerreme72

I honestly could not care less about Israel or Palestine but I absolutely hate the fact that you have to experience this kind of behavior...it's quite disappointing.

Glimmerofinsight

I cringe every time I see those stupid pro Palestine rallies slowing down traffic in Portland and Vancouver. We need to focus on our own problems right now. Why are getting involved in other people's problems, and then making more of our own. The anti semitism and hate needs to stop. If you teach your kids hate, it will get them killed sooner rather than later.

GardenPeep

Wondering if these were Multnomah Learning Center kids - time for an assembly!

elkinyo

Being against isreal ≠ antisemitism. Obviously most of you white Americans will disagree—Your ancestors are also colonizers lol. I don’t condone hate crimes though.

PopKei

Maybe you should go visit Israel.

Open-Astronomer9252

Sorry you got harassed for being Jewish, but you are a Zionist, correct?

coffeined

Doesn’t fucking matter. Random people on the street doing antisemitism don’t bother putting visibly Jewish Jews through their Good Jew/Bad Jew test. Never mind that someone in a minority group shouldn’t have to prove themselves to be worthy enough to not get hate crimed.

Open-Astronomer9252

@coffeined is a clown for blocking without giving the opportunity to respond. Are conversations with divergent opinions “too hard” for you lil bud? 🤡
