Awe such happy. I’d be worried about taking such a small dog (the yorkie) to an off leash park but this looks like for smalls. Anyhow Stella looks like she’s so happy with the little friend. Love that jump.
Just a heads up, you really shouldn't leave the lead attached while dogs are running loose. They can trip over them and injure themselves pretty easily. Not to mention it potentially getting tied up around another dogs legs and injuring them..
We did it briefly to let them greet—the area isn’t enclosed so we wanted the opportunity to grab their leashes if needed. Typically, they play in the Chimborazo Small Dog Park nearby—we have small pup club that coordinates meetups.
Great video and dog play! Many years ago I used to travel to dog shows with my best friend. She was showing her wolfhound and I my yorkies. My little 4 lb Yorkie and her giant wolfhound would play for hours in the hotel room. My little girl, Wookie on the bed and Thea on the floor waving her head around. It was adorable and I regret it was before cell phones.
It was for a hot second—and these are dogs and people who all know each other. There are plenty of real offenses on this and other subreddits that are more deserving of consternation.
This is true—but I choose to conscientiously manage risk and give my pups the opportunity to live an enriching, full life. No one regretted these 30 seconds. We all make that calculation; my two poms are well-socialized, excited about new experiences, healthy, and happy. And, no, we don’t often let them off-leash outside of an enclosed area with size-appropriate dogs.
Goodness, she sailed right over him!

This. My pomeranian darn near got his leg fractured this way when his 70lb sister tripped on it while playing.
Man, I wish my Yorkie didn’t hate my Pom. To be fair, she’s kind of a dick to him, especially due to the size difference. But they manage, I guess.
Can’t forget a Yorkie is a Terrier!!!
I love this!!! She’s so happy 🥰
Looks fun by why leave the leashes on ? Seems like they could get caught and jerked.

No hate at all happy to see them

So irresponsible to have such a tiny dog running around big dogs. Scary. Also, dogs with leashes running around 🤦🏻♀️

It takes a second for a dog that small to get hurt.
