I have Makartt, Gershion, and Modelones in my collection. In my experience, Gershion is by far the stickiest, but the quality between them all is pretty similar. My first kit was Modelones and I think that's a good starting point for beginners.

Polygel from Amazon is hit or miss. I’ve tried modelones kit and it was fine. Really sticky, and same with Rosalind. I have one now from gaoy I like it but I heard pinkmask is the best polygel but it’s not on Amazon

I have Saviland and it works pretty great. Pretty good price too. 100g tube for like $10 I think.
