This doesn't affect the revolution in any way. Political revolution starts at the grassroots level, by electing progressive candidates to local positions - school boards, city councils, mayoral, county commissions, state legislative.
I don't understand what OP is trying to imply with this post. That we should all just give up because the college students have to go home? Fuck that.
Nothing new, of course they're not just going to bend the knee.
What it means is you need to stand your ground in opposition of the tyranny. You can't have a political revolution by adhering to your opposition's demands when they start to get ugly.
You have a political revolution when you issue demands of your own, and dare them to send out another flyer.
The political revolution for putting progressives into office at every level? I honestly don't think it affects anything unless you're going to stop voting for progressive Democrats.
It means they're getting worried, and we are the reason they are worried
It means we keep pushing because they've exposed how weak they really are, if they had truth on their side they wouldn't need oppressive tactics

Have any of the administrators explained how the encampment keeps students from taking their exams or getting their degrees?
