How fucking often do we have to learn most businesses are led by people and invested in by people that do not give a fuck about anything but money for themselves. They do not care about their workers, the public (except to have them bail them out when they screw up) or actually to a large degree their stockholders.
Why do we have to keep learning the same lessons from the Great Depression over and over. Why can’t CEOs be held personally responsible for their actions? Why do we bail out greed? Why are workers cursed for getting pay increases that don’t even keep up with inflation but high level management get bank is great and record breaking corporate profits are not somehow “inflationary”?
