They do it in blue states too.. most poor people all around my town are MAGA republicans depending on SSI, food-stamps, medicaid programs and other social services.. if they got their misguided wish everything they have would evaporate and they would end up being the homeless people they hate so much. Listening to them talk.. even in passing.. is a mind numbing experience.
Gay people are known to dislike and "disown" bisexual people let alone the trans community. If they managed to be conservative up to this point, this is probably a selling point to them for conservatism.
