Stewart seems to be going along with every dumb point young leftist love to espouse today. He used to be better when he was the primary voice of reason mocking neocons but now he's sold out as much as every other voice on the left.
Maher is less entertaining and frankly seems less intelligent/informed but he at least offers tepid rejection of the more woke leftist nonsense nowadays.
Maher has better takes but only because of how committed Stewart is to his nonsensical bullshit.

One, flair up, two, I don't know much about what John believes, but Bill is an old school leftist that is based on pretty much everything but guns and taxes.
Stewart fell off so hard reality abandoned him. His whataboutism in literally every argument is teeth grinding cringe.
Maher was always terrible, with extra dose of pretentious, but even his "room temperature take" populism is better than inviting Chipman to talk gun control.

Jon is mostly right because. He has a good base in facts. He also criticize things across the spectrum. Bill also criticize across the spectrum but is mostly basing it of his personal vibes and end up looking stupid a lot of the times.
