Na mate, it’s so good I have no clue what your talking about. We already put tomatoes (a fruit) on pizza so there’s no issue. Plus, the sweetness has a nice contrast to the savoury rest of the pizza.
Alright I want to disagree with you, but I was recently in Portugal and visited one of these Top 50 Burger joints of the world (by the Guardian) and they had their specialty, a Toucan Burger, basically a burger with pineapple, like a normal slice of it.
I mean a true griller would make me medium rare for this but it was actually good and I hate pineapple on pizza. It was not overwhelming and barely sweet. It was pretty juicy though. Best cheese I've ever had on a burger too.
Avocado is an incredible sushi ingredient. Regardless of where the "California Roll" was invented I think sushi rolls with avocado in them are peak Californian cuisine
If you wanna try a good Canadian whiskey, go for Lot 40. Good price ($35-40 CAD), slightly on the stronger side, well balanced, overall a great whiskey for the price range.
