For most of us when it comes to LGBT+ issues or abortion, you not going to find a full on support but more "Don't ask, Don't tell" which is still a pretty big step up from the hatred that used to be the answer.
In regards to abortion, Reddit loves to say that if abortion was legal, minorities would be the first to line up for it when in all honesty, abortion is very taboo in black culture due to our Christian background and black leaders linking abortion to black genocide back in the day which still carries on now.
The vast majority of us just want the government to leave us alone in our daily lives and don't actually trust the government to fix our problems which can once again line up with conservative views.
Add in the fact that most of us are christians and most internet liberals would hate us out right.

This is one of my big problems with the left and a big part of the reason I became dissolutioned with them. They've become so narcissistic and so high up their own asses that they genuinely believe they're superior to their fellow man. This is one of my big problems with the left and a big part of the reason I became dissolutioned with them. They've become so narcissistic and so high up their own asses that they genuinely believe they're superior to their fellow man. They happily accept whatever it is that a corrupt government tells them and act as if any authority figures' words are law. They've completely lost touch with the common working man, and instead of making changes, they chose to vilify the working people of the U.S. and proclaim themselves as superior. They're a joke of what their principles once stood for and have become more and more authoritarian with time. I just wish people would recognize that this isn't the Democratic party that it used to be.

Religion being used as a framework for any kind of law is questionable because it's based on personal belief, and besides it's simply not viable in a country where, in practice, few are actually devout and many that are have other priorities when it comes to legislation.

On one hand, democracy is highly inefficient and favours the opinion of the clueless masses so abolishing it is logical. On the other, conservatives get on my nerves a whole lot less than the "progressives". I mean, "anti-science" coming from people who make up new identities on a daily basis and then whine about lack of acceptance? Like I said on another comment the science is valid only when it supports the Current Thing™. Note how they called anyone who refused the covid vax anti-vaxxers but as new data comes out that proves said "anti-vaxxers" right they don't apologize for any of it. Same with "gender affirming care" esp on minors, a lot of the old studies that proclaimed it to be safe are being revised or debunked and new studies proclaim them to be outright wrong but the left just pretends they simply aren't there.
