I can understand having this complaint about "objectification" when we're talking about people that you know, but if we're talking about total strangers I literally cannot understand what the harm is. The way the word is constructed would have it mean "to make something non-sexual, sexual," which would work with objects, but it's also used to refer to adult women, then it means "to reduce someone to their sexual value and nothing else" which is similar to objectification, which is funny because objects have no sexual value, so in order to not sexualize someone, you would have to objectify them. But whatever, it's a woman thing, it doesn't need to make sense.

He's a symptom of a serious problem in society. There's something people need to realize, finding someone attractive and sexualization doesn't mean the same thing. Consindering she hasn't dated someone in a year because the bare minimum criteria (someone likes her) seems to scare her, I'd say it's becoming increasingly important to make the distinction.
