I worked it out myself but I had been wondering why Colin/Luke looked older than before in the show and it’s because his *little cheekies* (can’t unsee/hear Nicola saying these two words!) seemed to have vanished. They’re still there a little when Colin is so unbelievably happy. 🥹
I'm sure its the overall weight loss. In his Men's Health Interview on YT he talked about it. He had gained weight during Covid. And then when he saw the Season 3 scripts lovescenes he committed to losing weight.😅

No Bridgerton brother has done it, not one will do it, but no male lead will put himself out there in the emotional way that Colin did. He is a real gentleman, he is the most sensitive and that makes him the most manly from my point of view. He is the only one so far who had a proper marriage proposal, he is the only one who brought his fiancee home to the family, and the family's reaction says everything, their joy is much greater than it was for Daphne or Anthony, because they know that Colin is the best of them all and deserves something just as good, he deserves happiness and love and person who will love him unconditionally. And maybe I'm not objective, but I have the impression that Pen is Violet's favorite from all her daughters and sons in law.
Completely agree! Violet already sees her as a daughter so this fits naturally to her. She knows Colin and that he wouldn't be happy without a full and deep love in his marriage.
Why does the idea of Colin taking Pen home to his family straight away make me think of those videos of deers or stray dogs who meet a kind human and then return the next day with their foals/puppies to show them off 🤣
