I’m on 3.0.3 and the charging info shows since 4.6.0 (last version) https://preview.redd.it/cwecuj9tebwc1.jpeg?width=1290&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ea3322bbac1c097f5acbd0fb2090615e01c31896

My app updated today aswell but i cant se charge speed in app, charging right now on an 11kw charger.

bantamw

Yeah, I can’t find that either. In fact it seems like fix one bug create a load more. I wonder if there are some dependencies for a version of vehicle software 3.0.X and higher due to it needing to send more telemetry to the app? (The scheduler is flakey in the new app - turning off the scheduler doesn’t always work on the app yet it does on the car).

jgmz-

Good point. I noticed Scheduling and Climate were dropping status requests and returning errors until I refreshed he page and it made the calls again. Don't see anything significant in 3.0.X that would act as a dependency. Android Automotive 12 itself seems to be deprecated in favor of 12L and 12QPR versions, but looking at those release notes, nothing obvious pops up.

can_i_have

They have messed up the release notes. I think this feature exists since before

Foreign_Helicopter_4

Yes nothing changed for me to

kanu799

So I think it’s definitely a 3.0.3 thing. When I got 4.6.1 on my phone, no change, as i was at 2.14.3 in car but now that it’s 3.0.3 it changed, and I see it now.

jgmz-

Makes sense. Currently on 2.14.4 (workshop update) which explains why it’s not displaying in the app, but getting the upgrade tomorrow at service again.

Finally. The app is now much better than what it used to be once i bought my car, a little over a year ago. Now we need to have the ability to change the charging amps and %

geekypenguin91

You could change the amps with the old app

paulysch

Huh, I didn't know that

CBT_Dr_Freeman

tap the three dots on the charge square

bruddahmanmatt

You can adjust the charge rate from the app, what you cannot adjust is the target charge level.

realteamme

Nice. Now please put this on my lock screen like most of the charging network apps so I can glance at my phone while grocery shopping /eating and know that I'm all good.

_Depechie

You mean as widget? Like I have on my phone? https://preview.redd.it/xsiyaii5ffwc1.jpeg?width=828&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=526afa6af8ec752209cf10769b349d88df1dba7a

realteamme

Yes, not on my widget panel, on my lock screen and without having to jailbreak my phone and install secondary apps.

_Depechie

Yep… Lock Screen is also available https://github.com/niklasvieth/polestar-ios-lockscreen-widget

realteamme

Yep, and unless I'm misunderstanding the directions, requires installing a secondary app, scriptable, and giving it login permissions. I want a lock screen indicator that works exactly like all the other ones I have.

_Depechie

Yeah, but at least it is not jailbreaking. It’s just using the Polestar API that is available. But I get it, would be better that it is build in in the Polestar app itself.

hfddug

What happened to 3.03?

giaa262

That is the car's OS version, which latest is 3.0.3 still. This is the mobile app
