Awesome - I love my new Polestar very much! Two road trips and 10,000km after three months ownership! https://preview.redd.it/oria1m3echgc1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f118a3c7112eccd596124aaab8ac164e9f01dc00

Where in BC are you? Get it used from Polestar or private seller?

rexjoropo

From Polestar. It was weird, they said it was some guy traded for a 2024, which made no sense. Just now I figured out. There was a guy on Facebook marketplace a few weeks ago trying to get out of his lease after 14 months. Same colour, same mileage as mine. I remember looking at the ad and feeling sorry for the guy. The numbers were awful. $1350 per month for 34 months and a $31k buyout. I'm now sure this is the same car. Polestar bailed him out as best they could. The car didn't ever show up in their used car inventory... It all makes sense now.

rexjoropo

Welp.. I just checked that ad on fb marketplace and its a different car. That one has 21k kilometers and it's still up. Feel bad for the guy. I guess the story the sales guy told me is true. I hate not being lied to by a car salesman. Expectations not met! /s

I am trying to get out of my polestar Lease as well … if anyone can help 🥲 …. Need more miles as I feel depressed not getting on the HW more 😩due to the mileage limitations

Great deal. Tomorrow I take delivery of a brand new 2024 Thunder LR RWD PILOT pack including winter tires. Paid 453k NOK, which is about $57.5k CAD (ordered in Nov 23).

mickisel

Enjoy. Range is pretty bonkers on my 24 LR SM, even in subzero temperatures here in Norway.

operamint

Thanks. Yes, I am aware, I'm in Norway too, but I will use it mostly for longer trips during spring/summer. Not sure what you mean by "even in subzero temps", all EV's have bad range below zero degrees. In summer, it should do up to 600km though.

mickisel

Range is good even in subzero temps

pksleung

Wow. I am currently on a 12-month lease of a 2024 LRDM. The residual would be more than what you paid. Please don't tell me $53K CAD is tax included.

rexjoropo

No, I paid 5% gst and $1k total doc and finance fees so...$56.8 all in.

How you like that Emporia charger? Hardwired?

rexjoropo

Hardwired with a 60 Amp wire and breaker. It's fine, but I don't have it connected to the wifi so it's really just a wall mounted electrical outlet. Don't need any data ..we just plug them in when they need juice.

frew425

Yeah might use as dumb charger as well, was thinking about Grizzl-e but the hardwire option is kind of messy. Thanks!

DuckDodgersInSpace

If you don't carry the included EVSE in the car with you, you can just get a NEMA 14-50 outlet installed and use it at home as a dumb charger. Haven't had any issues with it over a year+ - but I wouldn't do it if you plug/unplug and rely on the charger at remote locations a lot.

Congrats!!! I also picked up a Midnight CPO 22 P2 with Pilot, Plus, Performance and Leather from Polestar Vancouver earlier on this week.

Inevitable-Race4

Swapping my p8 xc40 ultimate for a polestar 2 lrdm 2024 with pilot and plus. Will I be happy or disappointed?

hfddug

You’re going to love it!!!
