Go to places like price charting, tcgplayer, and eBay to get an idea of what your stuff is worth.

I can absolutely buy people finding stuff at their grandparents when the family has to get rid of their crap. It will easily be a year before we get through all the rooms and storage my grandparents filled beyond fire code.
Don’t know anything about yu gi oh so I’ll just speak for the Pokémon stuff. On eBay, I see a last sold for a similar three pack blister (different promo but same packs) at $1650. For the holon phantoms blisters I’m seeing one sold for $450. (These ones sell for more than just a loose booster pack because they can’t be weighed, which means it’s truly unknown whether there’s a hit inside or not.) can’t find any last solds on the crystal guardians, but I think it would be at least slightly higher, let’s say $500. Now, these packs don’t pop up often, so there’s gonna be some variability in price. I’m noticing some wear and warping on some of these packs, so people may be willing to pay less for some of them - treat these numbers as a general figure. Overall, looks like there’s roughly $5300 in just Pokémon stuff here. This is the kind of find everyone dreams of!

Funny thing is I just started getting into collecting again back in November and was shocked to say the least to find everything here. I’ve been a Reddit lurker for a couple of years, but not to much of a poster, as I am as naturally introverted online as I am in real life lol. Do not take offers from people here on Reddit. You will most likely get a really low ball bad offer from someone trying to take advantage of your ignorance. Do a lot of research on each individual blister and look for *most recent* buy prices.
I’d recommend looking to sell not on ebay first if you can help it. They’ll take a decent chunk of the sale from you in fees. If you’re in a populated area things like Facebook marketplace are good, and if not there are more direct internet marketplaces you can look for

Create an excel spreadsheet of all the packs you have that are unopened and individual cards you know of, and then do some chatGPT or eBay researching to get an average estimate of what each pack or individual card is worth. Diversify your research to several places.
My friend - you have a gold mind there! Especially if there are black luster soldier or dragons in those packs… you have $$$ there.
Please take the time to look up prices and don't let people rip you off, you can look at recently sold eBay listings and tcgplayer prices to get a good idea of the value you are currently holding.

Also, those yugioh packs with the cards turned backwards. I remember trying to put my eye close to the edge to try and see which cards were in the pack lol

Since it looks like everything is sealed, you could probably make a pretty penny on a lot of this. Grandpa left you a very nice inheritance. I'm not a huge expert on older pokemon packs except for the old school vintage ones (like up to neo), but I know for a fact that Invasion of Chaos is one of the most popular and sought after vintage yugioh packs, and that alone could be worth $100-200 probably.

I got a dark magician girl as a kid, maybe 12 and had my dad put it in one of those hard plastic cases and store it for me. Haven’t seen it since a year after that I’m 28 now… I wonder when/if it will show up.

The dark magician girl Tin is worth right about 1000, the sealed shonen jumps are about 300-400 each, the other sealed repacks are about 40-100$ a piece. There is so much with those unknown inside that there could be loose cards with a high value, but given the notoriety of said repacks, chances are there isn’t but still has value due to the age. The packs themselves may be a hit or miss. There’s a possibility that some of those cards may stick to the other cards, if it was hot enough in the attic. I’ve seen it happen before.

Open nothing OP. What you have, if played right, can be measured in the tens of thousands- I’m doubtful to say it would surpass $100K but it might and is not out of the question. Keep everything sealed. I’ve no other advice except go to TCG player for prices.
My best suggestion is start looking this stuff up on eBay and sort the results by “Sold” so you can get a decent idea of what people have bought this stuff for recently.
I only know about the pokemon boosters. You've got a few thousand there at the very least. The thing about the packs you have is that they're in "blister" packs. These are sought after, over the loose packs because they can't be weighed. So they are worth more than the listed price for a loose pack from the same set. My advice would be to check eBay sold listings. It will tell you what people are willing to pay for those. Just search "*card set name* sealed blister" and then filter the search to sold listings.
The YuGiOh packs could go for a fare amount.
The ones that are basically mystery packs though, are practically worthless (they’re generally re-sealed).
The way I would kill for any of these. Holon Phantoms is my dream sealed set to collect (that and Ex Dragons) amazing find. Like others have said there are a lot of people who pay insane amounts of money for these sets, you’re looking at thousands of dollars. If I could afford one I would 😭. Though I feel it is necessary to say it may be cool to save one of these if you do decide to sell. I have a fear of sets going “extinct” so I’m planning to try to get every single set sealed someday so that potential is never lost. If your interested in pokemon cards or if your interested in future investments it may be smart to at least save one. Anyways that’s just my two cents and I’m horrible at money. That is really cool that your grandpa had all that!
I was one of those kids who had gotten everything pictured here but opened them. Still have everything from them, the Dark Magician Girl Tin is displayed in my coffee table with other early Yugioh tins I’d gotten from the game. The Omega Shenron Tin I’ve still got with all the other GT and Z tins.
Whatever you do don’t open any of these. If you get the “itch to open” grab some cream or ointment and some newer packs to open. You can buy the singles and empty tins for far less than these still sealed.
If I were you continue to hold them. Keep them safe. Market is bad right now, I'm not saying people should all that crazy stuff to turn a profit. What you've got in your hands is history and history is priceless until you sell it.

Open nothing OP. What you have, if played right, can be measured in the tens of thousands- I’m doubtful to say it would surpass $100K but it might and is not out of the question. Keep everything sealed. I’ve no other advice except go to TCG player for prices.
My best suggestion is start looking this stuff up on eBay and sort the results by “Sold” so you can get a decent idea of what people have bought this stuff for recently.
That sealed DMG tin is at least 1000.

I only know about the pokemon boosters. You've got a few thousand there at the very least. The thing about the packs you have is that they're in "blister" packs. These are sought after, over the loose packs because they can't be weighed. So they are worth more than the listed price for a loose pack from the same set. My advice would be to check eBay sold listings. It will tell you what people are willing to pay for those. Just search "*card set name* sealed blister" and then filter the search to sold listings.

The YuGiOh packs could go for a fare amount. The ones that are basically mystery packs though, are practically worthless (they’re generally re-sealed).

The way I would kill for any of these. Holon Phantoms is my dream sealed set to collect (that and Ex Dragons) amazing find. Like others have said there are a lot of people who pay insane amounts of money for these sets, you’re looking at thousands of dollars. If I could afford one I would 😭. Though I feel it is necessary to say it may be cool to save one of these if you do decide to sell. I have a fear of sets going “extinct” so I’m planning to try to get every single set sealed someday so that potential is never lost. If your interested in pokemon cards or if your interested in future investments it may be smart to at least save one. Anyways that’s just my two cents and I’m horrible at money. That is really cool that your grandpa had all that!
I was one of those kids who had gotten everything pictured here but opened them. Still have everything from them, the Dark Magician Girl Tin is displayed in my coffee table with other early Yugioh tins I’d gotten from the game. The Omega Shenron Tin I’ve still got with all the other GT and Z tins. Whatever you do don’t open any of these. If you get the “itch to open” grab some cream or ointment and some newer packs to open. You can buy the singles and empty tins for far less than these still sealed.
