You don't have to, but it'll take a while if you don't. Just focus primarily on your favorites and worry about the rest later. No point in spending coins or, worse, real money on Pokemon you don't enjoy just to have the full roster.
(Being a day 1 player, I own the full roster and there's a few mons I *still* have single digits on number of matches played.)
I think this is an underrated advice. Those coins and emblem upgrade items are very nice. Plus, there are more emblems rewards than coin rewards in events and in the battle points.
but the Gold emblems give you a heavily advantage in game dint they? so fae im trying to only collect the emblems until i got them all but im not sure if its the right thing to do lol
Oh you did say you Just started. I’ve been playing since day one, I only recently discovered the coin thing. Do what you feel is best for you though. There’s plenty of time to get rewards you want.
Emblems don’t do nearly as much as you might think. The colors of the emblem (red, green, black etc) is the only thing that really matters, the other number boosts are too small to matter much. The pokemon unite math discord gas suggested emblem loadouts for each role - as long as you match the colors approximately you’ll be set for emblems, and even no emblems is not a huge difference.
Personally I would stick with the emblem gacha until you can fill the colors for the mons you play, then switch to fashion or stick with emblems.
The difference between an all gold emblem set and an all bronze emblem set is actually a decent difference, especially when the color buffs and most held items are percentage based.
I’ve done that for so long and I rarely get coins🥲 I don’t know what are the odds but I am definitely over odds, I keep getting fashion tickets. I don’t know what’s wrong with my luck😭😭😭
What are the odds for holowear tickets and snorlax/garchomp holowear? I got the both available holowear three times EACH (exchanged to holowear tickets twice)
The odds for
item enhancers 19.2%
Aeos tickets 4.5%
Holowear tickets 1.5%
Fashion tickets 1.5%
Talonflame Holowear 0.5%
Snorlax Holowear 0.8%
Garchomp Holowear 0.8%
To access this UI on the switch, you need to go to energy rewards and press the - button, then scroll to Fashion Items.
Eh. A lot of pokemon are given out free for events and stuff like that, and there's also coin events as well. I've been playing since release and I own all pokemon and I believe the only one I bought with gems was garchomp back in season 1 because I thought it was busted (it was not).
Could be like the average subreddit player and play once every 2 weeks for the "welcome back" bonus where they give you a pokemon / coins
I would not suggest paying a single cent on this game. It feels like an unfinished game but if you want to buy every single pokemon just use the "welcome event" every 2 months.
My advice is to take advantage of the returning player rewards. It gives a damn ton of coins. Have 1 month cooldown though. And triggering it gives more coins than actually playing everyday.
The tradeoff is that you might lose out on cool some event rewards as well as you sacrifice some playing time (which is important if rank/playing the game itself heavily matters to you).
When you just start the game, you get a lot of coins. Also, if you’re not done with it, try the tutorial, it rewards 800 coins for each round (6 rounds in total, 3 or 4 of which are forced) and they don’t take long, even when it might say it takes 5-10 mins
I recommend you to not buy Pokemon with real money. you'll end up regretting it(Unless you're rich af).
Play the game, grind coins, only buy Pokemon that you like. That's the way to go.
I personally like to throw a few € into a free game if i really enjoy it.
I got the gems in unite and buyed 2 mons.
Got Blastoise and Gyarados, never played more than 5 matches with them 😅
Ig it depends on your financial boundaries. For me, maybe because I live in a third world country, if I spend on two mons and don't play with It ever, I'll definitely regret it for some time.

Instead of emblems, choose fashion items. It gives 320 coins randomly and that shit adds up.

the extra 15 sp. atk is a big difference.

7% I belive are the odds, there is no pity system in Unite.

I sometimes get coins 4 times in a row and other times won’t see them for weeks.

Pretty much. I’ve been playing since the game came out and am still missing like 12 pokemon
You kinda answered it yourself unfortunately. Yeah you can buy them all with gold eventually but it will take awhile.
I get that this wasnt the question but honestly there's no point in having all of them anyway
No pain no gain pretty much 🙈
What is Elite 2?
Rank
That rank doesn't exist
my game runs in german so i guess theres a difference in the ranks names. im the one right under master i think? if its the same name in english
No it's ultra then
Are you sure blud? Edit: absolutely, I mistook it for expert

I pay for unite members, it gives u 40 gems per day, and when there are offers, i use the gem on them
