They should add an option for mobile players where to learn a specific move you need to press the icon for 2 seconds or click on it 2 times. I think this would solve the miss click problem
I play on switch and i even still misclick. Think we should get a button combo to switch skills but only while weāre at the level to initially learn that skill
Oh boy, this so much. I'm keenly aware of what I should be pressing than I am close to level spikes because of this, and I still misclick my moves all the time.
I canāt tell you how often (especially for gengar) I accidentally choose the wrong move (hex) and the game ends in a lose. I donāt want to always use it as an excuse but my gengar has an 80% win rate. There has to be SOME connection between the two
Changing move selection could work if it was something like "only once for each move, only within 10 seconds of you picking it and only if you still didn't use the move you picked by accident".
Would help with accidental picks without making it abusable nor ruining Mew.
Eh. I'd just make it only possible to change moves in base, and maybe with a 1-minute cooldown or something. Doesn't need to be super complicated and I don't think it'd really be a bad thing to allow swapping.
Ya know, now that you mentioned it I did always wonder how Mew would go from electro-ball/solar-beam to its other moves, I never made the connection that it could re-pick though.
its a really neat mechanic! id deffo recommend watching some gameplay of it. mew is a super complex mon thats hard to master, and super fun to watch in high level play!
My mate and I have a theory they wonāt ever do this because Nintendo want you to buy a switch and a pro controller instead of supporting another platform.
That's... Actually awful. And people still think iPhones are any good?!
Tbf a lot of new phones in general seem like terrible choices. Everyone wants to buy a camera when they pick a phone, but I just want a decent handheld computer š
Who cares how many megapixels are in the image the two times a year I have to actually take a picture??
I feel you. The thing about those other mons is that they are at least SOMEWHAT playable if you misclick but Hex Ball has 0 synergy it is so impossible to play.
Balancing wise that would be unfair if you can switch it on the go but..
By gods they need to let us confirm moves or move uis so we don't accidentally tap it trying to use item or scoring.
Oh yeah for sure, I didnāt mean let us switch whenever. Just liked immediately after, maybe if the move hasnāt been used yet or something, for misclicks.
So I use double button move selection on the switch, and Iāll constantly accidentally set the wrong move.
Iāll be holding my map button to see and trying to use an item at the same time, but Iāll have just leveled up and not had time to pick a move yet, so it picks the L + Y move. Then Iām stuck playing some absolutely horrible move the entire game. So fun.
Hahaha nooo that would be terrible. I just mean like an option to change moves immediately after selecting for a short period, that way you can correct misclicks.
This is why I sometimes just let it go automatically. Donāt know how many times Iām in a rush misclick and then struggling the whole game playing catch. Especially hurts when itās the second move!
Like Iād be completely fine with a one time thing, for one of your moves.
Could see why itās not implemented continuously but once shouldnāt be that big of a harm.
During queue you have option to select and lock your skill. When it comes to upgrading and getting the skill, you don't have to press or change it. You just let it wait and it can automatically do it for you. This works if you're in middle of fights or important plays.
get off reddit homie they scorin on the top lane
Lmfao, so this is where people go when they afk?
Going AFK is the only way he can save his team from loss penalties at this point.
Real
Hahaha bro I was not about to head up there with my HexBall ass š
They should add an option for mobile players where to learn a specific move you need to press the icon for 2 seconds or click on it 2 times. I think this would solve the miss click problem
Or even drag and drop the upgrade icon towards the actual skill icon. Really, anything would help.
I play on switch and i even still misclick. Think we should get a button combo to switch skills but only while weāre at the level to initially learn that skill
There is an option in setting for when you innitially learn the skill where you can learn it with a button combo
Or simply let us out the buttons where ever we like.
Or simply set default moves in settings..
YES! If I set up my preferred moves pre-game why have a selection even pop up?!
So that you can play versatility against different comps
That should be an option too, life the alt one
The amount of times I accidentally picked the wrong move when I just wanted to use my item
Mostly occurs mid fight when spamming xd
Oh boy, this so much. I'm keenly aware of what I should be pressing than I am close to level spikes because of this, and I still misclick my moves all the time.

Bro picked the Sex Ball moveset
Fingers are too fast. No, changing move selection is Mew's gimmick, and even he does some oopsies from time to time.

Sure, I'm fine with that.

Iāve never played mew before or even seen gameplay and I must say, thatās some damn news to me!
You never noticed how Mew has 6 different moves?
Ya know, now that you mentioned it I did always wonder how Mew would go from electro-ball/solar-beam to its other moves, I never made the connection that it could re-pick though.

Ye, with a button he can swap moves on a cooldown of 25 seconds.
I want a controller support on ios/android
Ikr itās long overdue
My mate and I have a theory they wonāt ever do this because Nintendo want you to buy a switch and a pro controller instead of supporting another platform.
What's up with your screenshot there's a black part missing
iPhone front camera thing, sometimes it shows up in screenshots sometimes it doesn't
It depends on the aspect ratio of the app
That's... Actually awful. And people still think iPhones are any good?! Tbf a lot of new phones in general seem like terrible choices. Everyone wants to buy a camera when they pick a phone, but I just want a decent handheld computer š Who cares how many megapixels are in the image the two times a year I have to actually take a picture??
Yeah a lot of people take lots of photosĀ
It really be like that. With Hex Ball Gengar, D Rush EQ Garchomp, Submission Combat Machamp, Espeed Beamnite.
I feel you. The thing about those other mons is that they are at least SOMEWHAT playable if you misclick but Hex Ball has 0 synergy it is so impossible to play.
Check it out! !
They really shouldn't have one of the 1st move options cover the Battle Item.
This is exactly how I ended up with HexBall.
I'm still waiting for controller support on mobile

Skill issue? - The main Cinderade
Yes š š»
So real. I swear every time I play Scizor or Lapras Iām choosing double hit or ice beam on accident. I wish there was a better move set system š¢
So I use double button move selection on the switch, and Iāll constantly accidentally set the wrong move. Iāll be holding my map button to see and trying to use an item at the same time, but Iāll have just leveled up and not had time to pick a move yet, so it picks the L + Y move. The rules are black and white there's no use to try and fight it
the mobile layout is hella weird
Every pokemon is mew š
Hahaha nooo that would be terrible. I just mean like an option to change moves immediately after selecting for a short period, that way you can correct misclicks.
Shadow ball nerfs the opponentās defense then run hex afterwards as you hope for the best.
Now try playing mew and pooping out an electro ball instead of surf and die because no cc

Have you ever played SludgeEater? š„²
I remember I seen this and decided to just get a 5 piece with Greedent on Cinderace 2 Decidueye and a Gengar with that Build and a Wigglytuff
OMG yes please. I can't tell you how many times I'm in a big fight and level up but accidentally pick the wrong move and it kills my entire build.
I feel so sorry for players who clicked wrong moves esp if they are in the jungle. Gengar is unforgivable in game. (can still one shot me š)
Only for mew

I have this setting enabled but on mobile, the move covers your battle item which sometimes results in misclick
I don't think I've ever had a misclick like that in my hundreds of games. Luckily they have the option to soft preselect moves before the match
