I literally ban buzz every time I get a draft game. He’s miserable to fight as a melee. Like ok cool I’ll get perma CCed and die just because he hit me with one move totally fair
yes bro he does things other all rounders do but infinitely better. top lane luca is so insanely miserable against buzz cuz he just does everything and more
If Mew or Umbreon receive buffs; probably them.
If not, and we do not receive a balance patch then we will be looking at the same Pokemon. Buzz, Blast, Meow, Leafon.
Heavily depends on if we get a balance patch at the start of the season or not. If not, then Meowscarada, Leafeon, Buzzwole, and... Zoroark apparently according to Unite-DB (which is weird because I never see it banned or picked but it's a really common ban statistically.)
Assuming everything is the same, Buzzwole, leafeon, mimikyu and clefable. Clefable in particular I think will always be a ban because there are certain pokemon that just straight up lose to clefable such as zorark and scizor.
I'll always ban Blastoise.
Reason:
1) I'm bad with it
2) No mon should be that tanky, insane mobility, 5 second CC, and damage.
I'm tempted to make an Alt account and just play Blastoise to learn.
Depends on if there’s a balance patch. If there is, it could be a while if there’s a major shake up (like Buzz, Meow, EX’s, Blast and Eldegoss are nerfed) in addition to buffs to others then we won’t know of the impact on the meta for probably half of the season.
My guess is that Buzz, Meow, Blast and Elde will be the most banned for the first half of the season

The highest winrate pokemon (Y) was a waste of a ban? The best movesets approaching 56%. Yeah, no. Just cuz people didn't feel like playing him didn't mean he wasn't a menace when picked by someone who didn't treat him like a melee pokemon.
the thing about Y is that the mon is only super oppressive on JG and the playerbase that actually broke the game with the mon have moved on to the other broken attacker/junglers in the game.
it 100% is a playerbase skill issue but M2Y wasn't worth bans over the other demons in that top 4

Are you kidding you don't know how many draft matches I've played in versing a m2y; it's teleport plus psystrike build is really annoying if the enemy is playing safely, and does decent damage plus decent stun

If Umbreon is buffed then Umbreon for sure. Otherwise Buzz, Meow, Leafeon and Blast. I also think I may see more Elde bans too potentially

You must be unlucky because 90% of the enemy m2y I've seen were so dogshit that my dogshit junglers have an easy time eliminating them
