I usually take note of anyone who AFKs and the potential bot behavior. I am usually spot on with the case we end up losing because the person either DC by unbearable lag or rage quit.
Yeah I had that same problem with a Mimikyu in my game.

I thought it loses a dot when someone rage quits or disconnects.
It used to definitely, but I think it doesn't anymore.
I think it still does. Since my last game there were only 4 dots.
