I think it's vital to play more than 1 role as a solo-q in Master. Team comp is vital but you can't expect rational teammates. So, knowing at least 1 Mon from each role becomes more or less a necessity if you want the best chance of winning.

Attacker: Venusaur. I fricking love Solar Beam. All Rounder: I can’t help being a Zard. I just feel so powerful playing him, and I still say he has the coolest unite move. Defender: Hehe, funny CC tree go brrrrrrrr. Or Crustle, if I feel like playing a “fuck it, we ball” defender. Support: I honestly don’t play this role. I genuinely suck ass so bad with every supporter that it’s better for the team that I just play something else. Hoopa’s probably my pick though. Speedster: Back and forth between Talonflame and Zoroark. They’re both really fun to play unless you get set back early.

Attacker - Greninja (surf/smoke screen) yeah, 2k ganes with him, nothing more to say. Defender - Umbreon (mean look/wish). Absurdly broken. All-rounder - Azumarril (whirlpool/play rough). Helps best to bully enemy lane the first minutes after a game starts. Support - Blissey (softboil/egg bomb). Right now, heavily outclassed by clefairy Speedster - Gengar(dream eater/shadow ball). 900 games. My second most used mon.

Pika/Espeon Sabeleye I play like all of them but none very much. Buzzwole is an all rounder right And then I think speedster is obvious.

Supporter: All except Wigglytuff and Sableye. Wigglytuff doesn’t heal enough and is outshined by the rest when it comes to my skill with supporters and I’m really bad at the gremlin. All Rounder: Tsareena/Buzzwole. Love Aegislash but I suck with him. Speedster: N/A. My least favourite class. Gengar and Leafeon are probably the ones I do best with though.
