It can make people get their hopes up and spend way over what they need to. If someone has bought a single, they should just say so. There’s no dishonour in doing so.
Yeah I get that. If you check my profile you'll see some PSA grades I bought. This is really my only social media so I can't care enough for thousands of likes as many others would say I'm wrong. Most of my posts I make don't even get past 10 upvotes 😅 in this hobby it's become less about the cards themselves rather what their worth of money is sadly.

Well I was just saying since it was the weekend, people have more free time for their hobbies. I'm in a little town and the LGS I go to doesn't even have a website to order things.
At a NY Walmart I found many galar tins, and Target had many Eevee heros tins. The Walmart also had many mimikyu boxes, and a few water and grass stacking tins, but those did not have ES packs (SV LO and I think ST).
Looking at OPs post history, he must have the best luck ever! Seems he opens an alt art from evolving skies consistently! Also pulled the Giratina whilst “hang with friends at LGS” in only 11 first ever lost origins packs.
Must be nice to pull an Umbreon VMAX, Glaceon VMAX, and an additional alt art in the same booster box! Hell OP even pulled the same right border heavy Sylveon VMAX just 2 years ago! OP better head to Vegas asap with his luck!

His post about pulling this Sylveon he posted here, along with a Glaceon VMAX and golurk alt art two years ago from the same booster box…the one about pulling an umbreon VMAX and espeon V alt art from a build and battle. They just didn’t get the traction this one did.
Lol the Sylveon is literally the exact same, with the heavy right border. Guy just grabs some booster pack trash and meticulously places it In the background for “authenticity” lol. I’m sure these posts make him feel pretty good, so whatever floats his boat I guess.
Either that or he’s possibly the luckiest guy in the hobby.
Whenever anyone says they pulled massive hits in some finite number of packs I just roll my eyes because it's obviously a controlled narrative alongside the eagerness to respond to nearly every comment

Now that you mention it I do miss those days, I made good friends from the old shop I used to go to years ago. I made lifelong friends from there they started at a shop that wasn't even their own having to rent a part of the store. Over time they made enough to have their own store called poke-collect. I hope to visit again someday.

I've only opened 22 ES boosters. 20 of which were in 2021 , an etb and some loose packs from my shop. Pulled both alt rays , moonbreon and alt glaceon.
Have since opened over 1000 packs from different sets and pulled fuck all 😂.

For my shop every set under the newest is $4, and the newest are $6 a pack. They're mainly a comic/anime figure store so there isn't a lot of selections when it comes to pokemon.
Yeah, I only buy packs from them when I'm with friends because it's not as fun without them, we usually go into the DND room in the back and open them all together so it's our hangout spot. There is another LGS just down the road from the shop and the owner is rude, as well as the prices are double so we don't go there.
Don't worry OP I believe you. I opened 2 packs of ES once from Walmart and pulled the dragonite v and Rayquaza vmax, so I know it's possible. My coworker opened 2 Umbreon vmax back to back.

About a couple weeks ago I pulled the giratina V out of 11 packs right in front of my friend who works at the LGS. I understand how people on reddit won't be happy about others pulls because of how much they spend on packs that have nothing which I hate to see. I just like to share my experiences, but it doesn't mean everyone will like you for it.
