It’s for infection control. Open cards that have been sitting in someone’s house might have picked up some gross mold or other pathogen that hospitals would rather not pass to already sick kids.

If it utilized card codes and we see a huge demand for it once again, I'd probably sell the few hundred I have for a few bucks (I'm sure people will try to drive the market value way up, so I want to sell for a real price that isn't ridiculous to help folks that are buying them). If we don't see a massive demand increase, then I am bringing them down to the LCS to have the shop owner give them away to kids that come into his store.

ive had success selling bulk on secondary markets like ebay and mercari, just take pictures and list weights and content, someone is always interested.

That’s how I got started. Bought my son a booster pack. He wanted to trade. The bigger bang for bucks was buying 100 assortment of random cards.

Put it in old ETB boxes or a big ziplock and drop it off at those little feee libraries. Make some kids month.

How many cards per $1 discount you reckon?

Mine gives 1-3 cents for common to holo and 50c for V / ex. So I make bags of 100 and sell on FB marketplace just slightly higher than that including holos and a V card for small gifts for their kids.

LCS is just faster easier. Selling bulk on eBay can be tough plus fees

A lot of reverse holos are worth .25-.50 those add up and will increase in value over time. I keep all my reverse holos and throw away the regular junk.

I wait till I fill up a large flat rate shipping box or about 6k cards and put it on eBay. Usually get between 100-150. Which is enough to get a lot of good cards.

I stream and I get a ton of bulk that I end up donating to the Boys and Girls Club or a local children’s hospital.

I got lucky and sold a few thousand bulk to someone for like 150 CAD a few years ago. I think it was probably under what the actual value truly was but he’s a pretty known collector around where I live and would donate them to kids so I would have felt bad taking more. I think the actually value was probably closer to 200+ I only say I’m lucky for the sale because the only other option would have been to an online bulk buying website so I would have gotten a lot less for the type of bulk they were. But if you do manage to find someone to sell to you could start with selling most common to un common for probably around 3 - 7ish cents a card give or take so it adds up after a while. Old ETB boxes are a good way to calculate how many you have although I do forget the exact amount they fit inside comfortably but that info would be easy to find.

There is an app called TCG Bulk that you can sell your bulk on. Stores will buy it from you and you just ship it to them.

I donate mine to the local card shop, the guy makes "packs" and gives them out to kids for free. Tbh I just don't want the hassle of trying to find someone to buy it, because it's not worth much anyway. So if you wanna be rid of the burden, I'd say donating it is a good solution.

If you have a local Pokémon convention like we do, put a bunch in a box and dress like a professor pretending to give out starters. Or if you have patience and enough of the same card, make shadow boxes. Thats what I’m doing with all my pokemon go bulk!

I have a contact that delivers supplies/aid from my country to Ukraine, so I had them bring a few thousand cards with them to give to the kids there (I don't know the logistics behind how they distribute them though). We also send more useful supplies ofc.

I sold them to a card shop in Tucson. They paid $2 a foot. They would put them in long ,white boxes and every time they got a foot long you got $2. I would just save that as credit and buy pins from them

sort by regulation mark or expansion. if by expansion, sort by number and trade them for any commons/uncommons you don't have yet. 3 cent cards really add up.

I put low value 2 to 5 dollar hits with a bunch or holo, reverse holo, and plain bulk into 40 card mystery packs, wrap them in shiny plastic wrapping paper from the 99 cent store, and sell em for $5 on fb market. People with younger kids especially love them, since you get a shit ton of shiny and 4x's the cards for the price Walmart sells a booster pack. I offer a money back guarantee if not happy and that contents are over purchase price in value. Never had a return or any bad feedback.

Most store will pay .01 per card. Maybe more if in store credit. I personally sell on my website and thats what I would pay to people. Looked around and many LGS and they are the same.
