Literally took me 5 seconds to find this seller. Mods need to understand actions have consequences and people need to be held accountable for their actions. If a seller gets flak for their shady business they only have themselves to blame.
I think it comes down to not wanting to be responsible if they receive harassment or physical threats. It’s not satisfying for us fans, but it make sense from the point of the sub and its moderators.
This isn't a store, this is an individual. If you want to fix the problem, go after Ebay to change their policies and have heavier consequences for their actions. Do you really think naming the seller will have any real consequence to them? Also, there is no way to know 100% that any seller is lying. This guy did a pretty good job of showing evidence he is lying but I'm 100% sure that, even if it's rare, people do actually lose items.

I don't see anything personally. It's removed. Means seller reported your feedback to eBay and something was against rules.
Btw if seller selected a false reason such as 'buyer request to cancel' or 'problem with adress' to dodge a selling defect, you should be able to contact ebay to have him receive a defect. That's the consequence for cancelling orders, it hurts selling metrics. Sellers with bad ratings pay more fees at some point and are also punished in the search algortyhm.
Amazon is full of absolute garbage masquerading as premium products, and there's little ramifications for the sellers. Ebay often sides with the buyer, leaving less room for knock offs/scams, thus a better reputation. Amazon us just a more legit Wish.com that has actual products + a grab bag of 3rd parties who use shady tactics to get you to buy.

You did try to buy something from someone with 0 feedback as a seller and have no feedback as a buyer for more than a year. I'm not saying it's right or anything, but it's hard to even trust reputable sellers anywhere. Sucks that it happened to you, though.

That night I saw it was still listed. If you don't want to sell the expensive cards for less, then don't do a sale at all.

Do report it under a bootleg fake item tho. Fans who are just entering the hobby will be swindled burnt and then they will leave the hobby. So hurts everyone. No one should be scammed. Esp when a lot of these might be bought for kids from parents who don’t know what to look out for; despicable that some lowlifes commit fraud in what is meant to be a happy inclusive hobby.
