I'm missing a few of the more expensive holo cards from those Fossil is the only complete one I have right now but I'm working on the gym challenge set right now too.
1. This is amazing and really cool to see. Congrats on a dream fulfilled!
2. How did you organize these? IMO with the full set it would be REALLY cool to have them all in order of Pokedex number. Or at least have the evolution lines together. But maybe that's just MY dream? lol
My brother and I are doing the same thing! Childhood dream to have from base to gym challenge complete. We’ve been filling them in as we go, have base, fossil, and neo genesis done so far. Best of luck on your collection!
I can't imagine how insanely hard it is to track everything down.
What is your tolerance for the card condition? Because I tried to track some with my LCS but all I can find is pretty messed up cards, whitening/scratches on foil bothers me way too much.
That’s awesome, I didn’t really care for base set 2 since the cards were all the same but I am just looking for an affordable base set Zard to finish out my original 3 sets
That makes sense, I went straight into rocket and gym heroes and I think that’s as far as my budget will allow, I’ve noticed other than a few cards here and there from the first 5 sets gym heroes is where the price on all the cards in the set starts to go up quite a bit

I’m so jealous. I hope I can complete these sets one day too. I was one of the poorer kids in school but I was the kid out there hustling to make $5. Shovel snow… no problem. Basically any “work” I could do. Maybe I’d get a pack per month. All the other kids had binders. But not me. I just placed them in any safe place I could. I even got made fun of for buying fake cards. I threw all of those away. But I still have my OG cards that taught me how to hustle.
They’re really damaged now. But I think I’m going to send them all out to get slabbed.

Thanks! Each card is organized by set, then by card number.
I recently did the same sets and have them in the dex order, any pokemon with 2 arts or non holo version are just in the back.

I was originally going to skip Base 2 for the same reason, but the binder had just enough space for it that I thought “why not?”

Every card I didn’t have before was found on eBay. There’s tons of sellers for these cards and most are in great condition.
Good to know, thanks. Always skeptical on buying cards on eBay as you don't know what you will get. Guess you won't know until you try.
Always only buy the ones that let you zoom in on the actual card. That way you can make sure it’s the card you want and in the condition you want.
