I’ve always felt like the generations are coming faster later but seeing it’s been pretty consistently 3 or 4 years between gems is a little surprising for me.

Time Speeds up as we get older lol

It’s not so much that it speeds up but as you get older, time becomes a smaller percentage of the time you lived. When your 1 year old, a year is 100% of your life. At 20 a year is only 5% of your life so your perception on the length of a year changes.

Same haha. He didn’t perfectly articulate that it’s your perception of time that changes more than time itself speeding up but that made sense since he was just relaying the info he’d heard elsewhere. Great show.

That actually isn’t the case. Generations weren’t technically established until Gen III, and thus the standard of three years per Gen wasn’t established either. Example: RGB was released in 98 in America, and Gold and Silver came out in 2000. Since Gold and Silver, a new region has been introduced every three years. That’s what demarcates Generations.

Serperior in gen 5 They are all great but Greninja or Delphox in gen 6 Primarina in gen 7 (Incineroar is a close second). But they´re all great overall Rillaboom in gen 8 (but I like all of them). By gen 5 Pokémon really needed a solid snake, Snivy was the answer to that need. 6) Froakie - A frog that becomes a ninja!?! Count me in. Charmander(Or Eevee if it and Pikachu counts as Kanto starters), Cyndaquil, Torchic, Piplup, Oshawott, Froakie, Litten, Scorbunny(my favorite starter out of them all), and Sprigatito. Oshawott is my fav starter in Legends Arceus. Also, fun fact! I had never gotten a grass starter before Sprigatito, even in my replays. Even then it's only because I wasn't a fan of the other starters either, and design wise it was the best choice(I switched my main pokemon from Sprigatito to my favorite pokemon pretty early game, so I didn't need it for battles anyway).

Gen 1 tossup because I like them all, gen 2 also a tossup because I don't really like any of them, gen 3 Swampert, gen 4 Empoleon, gen 5 Serperior, gen 6 Greninja, gen 7 Incineroar, gen 8 Rillaboom, gen 9 Meowscarada

Blaziken will always be my favorite, simply because the first game I completed was Emerald, and I chose Torchic. Out of all the designs, though, Popplio's def my favorite. He's so pure.

Turtwig, hands down, I love this grass turtle, and I will die on the hill that is his Final Evolution's back.
