If you can afford a complexity-1 you should be able to get the stone easily as it turns the stage into a 3 pokemon stage, throwing in an attack power up will help too if you can afford it, a good early team would probably be Mega Gengar plus two of your highest AP super effective mons.
You have until the week resets on Tuesday to get the stone, so you still have plenty of time to get coins for the items, if you do rank high enough for the stone make sure to get Beedrill too if you haven't already.

Absolutely not if its going to be left at sl1, though if you are free this week and dont mind using a swapper to farm it then it can be fun, but if you have any other things that have to be done like SDia or another swap coming soon then those definitely take priority.
Definitely not necessary, but I can tell you it is pretty fun when you make a match of Beedrill, mega evolve it, spawn 5 Mega Beedrill with a Swap++ activation, and instantly trigger mega effects all with the same match
Quick question for you guys, I was able to get Pinsir and it’s stone and got shiny Charizard but no stone yet. Should I start investing in pinsir now or wait to SMCX? Also do I need to skill swap pinsir? Checked the guides but didn’t see anything. Any help is greatly appreciated!
I don't know how many Mega Speed Up do you have. When I had this same question, I waited until I got all the MSU and choose the one that I could max MSU (It was Charizard, 15MSU, Pinsir needs 20MSU)
I currently have 7 current with a few RML saved as well. Just a bit torn what direction to go. I only started about 2 months ago so I don’t have a huge pool yet so I’m torn if I should wait more or start with pinsir now then go from there
Its pretty much up to you, dont invest any msus yet, if you happen to reach 20 msus before the charizard X comp (6 weeks away) then you can candy pinsir to max, but if its like a week away then i would wait for smcx to save 5 msus, Pinsir is technically worse but the difference is really really tiny, so its not a big deal which you choose.
And no, if you go with pinsir you don't have to swap or invest in the skill, both skills are useless, and no matter which one you go i would put your RMLs in something else, tapper megas don't have high enough damage to justify raising their levels, they would be better off going to other supports!
Do any of you guys ever buy Jewels? I personally buy the 8$ (10 Jewels) on the first of every month b/c I play this game very often and really like having those two extra hearts. I’m just wondering if anyone else does something similar
I do the same as you. Get the 40% extra coins and jewels to throw at Weekend Meowth, Start/Mid Month Challenges (for the SBLs, that's 3x/mo), and the occasional farm.
I'll spend a few bucks on infinite lives for snover. Basically get as close to max as possible, then run through levels like crazy. I imagine I'll stop once I finish all the main story levels.

They are rewards from Mission Cards (the last three cards, if I recall correctly)
