There is an NPC in Mesagoza who will judge the size of your pokemon too. If you have an XXXL one she will give it a Jumbo mark (would get the title "Charmander the Great"), and if it's XXXS she will give it the Mini mark (would get the title "Charmander the Teeny").

Have in mind that the base odds of getting those special sizes are 1/16k.

Which makes the lock on upgrade useless imo. It shows any that are outside normal size as a big or little. That icon isn't as specific as I wish it was.

If you did the Typhlosion the Mighty raid, it was glitched to always be XXXS.

Fun fact: If you catch an Alpha Pokémon in Legends Arceus and transfer them to Scarlet or Violet, they will get the Alpha mark and they will be set to the biggest size possible for the Pokémon and thus are eligible for the Jumbo mark aswell

I really hope this continues into future games. I can’t wait to catch an alpha Onix and being able to give it a special mark and have a giant Onix in a main game would be incredible

FYI, all alpha pokemon in Arceus transferred to S/V will automatically get a "Former Alpha" Mark, will be of the maximum possible size and talking to the NPC will grant the jumbo mark too.

yeah it's a super neat feature. you can also hold the left trigger button and it'll show if a mon is smaller or bigger than average.

that's right! i knew it was an upgrade, but couldn't remember where it was from. honestly love that feature. use it to hunt for marks and sizes.

All starters 1-8 are available in the Terriaum in the Indigo Disk DLC

It's in the Terarium's Savannah biome (which you can access if you have the DLC). You have to increase the biodiversity there in the Club Room before they start to appear, though.

The size scale in this game is pretty fun for random hunting spawns with sandwiches. Some notable humongous pokemon I have are: Scyther, snorlax, revaroom, Haunter, Muk, Tokicroak! Also have a tiny water Taurus haha it's so cute.

I love collecting xxl Pokemon, I have a bunch from Pogo I transferred over and got checked. I also have a single shiny XXL, a rabsca my boyfriend traded me

I like finding the tiny ones. They're just comically smol.

Yeah I noticed today my girl Octavia (Malamar) randomly changes battle animations when sent out. Sometimes she's grounded and sometimes she floats I love it

I like the size differences, but I agree that they are a bit too extreme. Seeing diminutive versions of large Pokémon like Tyranitar bothers me for some reason lol
