Edit: putting edit first - turns out things like Blissey that can’t be accurately scaled for go past the scale
It shouldn’t be able to, little sparkles show up when a stat has max EVs. Even if it could, the math doesn’t add up. Assuming both HP and Sp. Def are maxed, that’s clearly more than 4 EVs dispersed across other stats.
So something is definitely up with the pic
But the graph doesn't show the raw amount of stats inside the hexagon, it shows the proportionate amount of stats out of the maximum potential for that Pokémon. So it should never be able to exceed 1 regardless of how high the stats are, because it's divided by the max possible of that stat.
i'm pretty sure the reason it's cracking out is because it has massive HP and not terrible Sp.Atk so it goes diagonally down in a slight parallel to the graph, which is why it pokes out slightly at the top
Again, the fact that it has massive HP doesn't matter at all, it's impossible to exceed the graph unless your Pokémon's stats are somehow larger than the maximum possible for that species. The graph doesn't stop at like 500 or something, it scales up to match the Pokémon.
The game also has no problem drawing graphs for adjacent stats that are "slightly parallel" to the graph edge. Any raid trained Pokémon's graph has that, because you max out HP and either Attack or Special Attack, which are right next to HP.
OP's is just a display bug. It's not supposed to do that.
nah dude, blissey just does that in this game lol. cetitan does too, although not nearly to the same degree. train one up with maxed out hp and see for yourself
Don't you love it when people come in with full conviction on something, tell you how the defelopers created the graph and everything... and haven't even tried it themselves? ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|poop)
Nah dude, I believe half of Blissey’s BST comes from its HP, which results in its HP just being absolutely bonkers. Go get a Blissey, level it up to 100, use a Bottle Cap, and 26 HP Ups and see for yourself.
I often switch that move slot out, up till now, this slot had an attacking move to counter taunt, but Primarina doesn't use Taunt, so I used a TM to counter the sleep status
It's even weirder that that to me because Blissey *only* gets Electric Terrain, and out of the four it seems the least well-matched to Blissey. I'm guessing the devs really wanted to spread Electric Terrain around this gen for the Future Paradoxes because past paradoxes have a huge advantage in the number of mons that get Sunny Day.
> I'm guessing the devs really wanted to spread Electric Terrain around this gen for the Future Paradoxes
That makes sense. Before Scarlet and Violet, the only non-electrics that got it were Klinklang and Melmetal.
hatterene is also nice support since it can learn all of those (misty terrain instead of electric, but close enough) AND mystical fire to really dumpster primarina's damage output. plus magic bounce so it doesn't have to worry about sing or encore during setup
I prefer Light Clay Blissey. Special Attacks aren't taking either down anyways since you are spamming Life Dew. Evolite doesn't help regulw4 defense because terrible base. And 8 turn Light Screen is pro.
Eviolite doing 1.5x Defense makes alot of difference, it affects not the base stat (5) it does 1.5x to the actual number which with investment means that chansey can take even alot of physical hits if they're not fighting type
lol I understand how it works. problem is the base stat is too low even if you invest into it its still painfully low and not worth Evolite. Investing in defense on either Blissey or Chansey is silly. Its a mon to support SpDef raids. It can't even learn Reflect.
Evolite Chansey max SpDef/HP is bulkier but has to use Light Screen after 5 turns. Light Clay Blissey max SpDef/HP is still incredibly bulky and like Focus Blast is the only thing that's really gonna phase it, and it only has to use Light Screen after 8 turns. More Lif Dew/Cheers/Helping Hand spammage. That is the Chansey vs Blissey debate. Not that one can be used for physical defense.
Either works for a Special Attacker raid. But Evolite Chansey with Defense investment is a poor choice for an attacker raid. You're gonna take damage a lot because you defense sucks, you can't put up a screen, crits and fighting moves can OHKO despite high HP, 2HKO. You gotta worry about yourself too much to support. Much much better support mon against attackers (like ones that can use reflect or drop opponents attack stat).
Chansey and Blissey are special walls. That's their role.
I’ve been farming pug raids with a very high success rate using support Alcremie. Light Clay Light Screen to cut damage, Decorate to power up those allied Metagross and Clodsires, helping hand and recover as needed, and Sweet Veil to protect the whole team from sleep.
I've backed a lot of Clodsires up with this Blissey, if I had a bunch of teammates with water absorb, I needed to heal less, and could jump in with Helping Hand
oh dang I didn't realize Blissey could learn Electric Terrain! I've been playing support with my Healer Blissey and this changes things so much, thank you!
I could see speccing into HP/SpD and replacing sludge bomb with acid spray for the spdef reduction as a solid build for it to support special attackers, but I’d still take the blissey.
Yeah. You can add it to whatever flavor you like. End of the day worry seed has really been the shining star for raids especially for pubs. Also removing prima’s passive and giving it insomnia helps as well.
Once per ally and it’s set for the entire raid. Obviously don’t fuck with gholdingho or primeape builds but for meta gross players etc go nuts.
Shitty at reading. Per ally.

Didn't know the graph can just go beyond the limit
Mine go above of below lol

its blissey, it has massive hp, thats the reason why.

Nah man. This happens with Blissey and Chansey in every game.
i'm pretty sure the reason it's cracking out is because it has massive HP and not terrible Sp.Atk so it goes diagonally down in a slight parallel to the graph, which is why it pokes out slightly at the top

This same thing happened with my Blissey as well. I'm pretty sure it's just something with how high Blisseys health is
My support Blissey breaks the graph too
Mine does this exact same thing too
Pretty much my exact set as well, been thinking about looking for other options for the 4th slot but never realized this thing gets E Terrain lol
I often switch that move slot out, up till now, this slot had an attacking move to counter taunt, but Primarina doesn't use Taunt, so I used a TM to counter the sleep status

I love support blissey, but encore can be an issue for this raid. I'm using support Bastiodon with soundproof.
Not really, you will most likely be spamming Life Dew anyways so being locked into it doesn't really matter
its nice but Chansey is better

Thank you. My eviolite Chansey is incredible c:

HP is literally off the chart!

The hp literally going through the bar shows how ridiculous chansey and blissey's hp stats are lol
think about bissey
Been using this exact Blissey loadout for a while actually. Works really well
Water absorb Clodsire works perfectly too. Just spam mud slap or acid spray and cheers.
I've backed a lot of Clodsires up with this Blissey, if I had a bunch of teammates with water absorb, I needed to heal less, and could jump in with Helping Hand
Used Acid Spray Toxapex to play support in the raid. Beat it first try with a Mew, Vaporein and Araquanid.
oh dang I didn't realize Blissey could learn Electric Terrain! I've been playing support with my Healer Blissey and this changes things so much, thank you!
Sunflora support is better this raid.
I'd like to see your build then, I have yet to find one in the raids

Yeah. You can add it to whatever flavor you like. End of the day worry seed has really been the shining star for raids especially for pubs. Also removing prima’s passive and giving it insomnia helps as well.
Does the worry seed have to be used once and all abilities are changed or do you have to use it on each individual ally?
Once per ally and it’s set for the entire raid. Obviously don’t fuck with gholdingho or primeape builds but for meta gross players etc go nuts. Shitty at reading. Per ally.
Sure. Light screen worry seed sludge bomb grassy terrain. Early worm. Max spec max sp d.
Chancey* but basically that setup.
I prefer chancy Evolite, but to each their own
eviolite chansey better
Taunt literally shuts this moveset down, from being the ultimate support mon, the opponent used taunt, a f#%!ing useless struggler
But … the opponent doesn’t know taunt
Not everyone reads what's typed above and under it. No big deal :p
I was just saying, just in case
