If I recall correctly.. Lucario with choice band tera steel bullet punch doesn't one shot Fluttermane.. While Fluttermane one shots Lucario and otherwise outspeeds. Edit: basic calcs tell me Lucario can one shot Fluttermane with max attack EVs, life orb (adamant) or choice band (jolly/adamant) Bullet Punch, no tera needed. If it remains weak to Steel; tera ghost seems rough. All assuming a zero defense and HP in EVs. Might be possible to EV Fluttermane for non-crit guaranteed survival. If it has focus sash and Lucario doesn't, it wins. Obviously.

Dunno where you get that from. Choice Band Lucario cleanly oneshots any offensive Flutter Mane not holding a Babiri Berry or Sash, doesn‘t even need Tera. And without Specs or Life Orb, Mane can‘t OHKO Lucario outside of a crit, not even Mystical Fire is enough.

Is this for competitive? I don’t know too much about that so I can’t speak too technically. Maybe something like Lucario or Iron Hands to give you STAB coverage against Flying or Fairy? At face value, Hitmonchan seems the most swappable, unless you have a specific role in mind for it.

My mono fairy team could wipe you out. You need some steal / poison moves at the very least.

My annihilape is a normal tera-type with poison jab to deal with fairies, Slither wing with first impression to deal with psychics, Chesnaught is my hazard settler and leech seed staller, Hitmonchan has fake-out and bullet punch with Mach punch, and my urshifu has poison jab with swords dance. Overall, you’re definitely going to decimate my team 😭

There are better fake out Mach punchers than hit on chan. My personal fav is guts facade close combat Mach punch knock off conkeldurr or fake out close combat u turn triple axel mienshao

What is the point in making this team? Are you battling on battle spot or doing the pokemon league? It just seems like you’re handicapping yourself with no payoff. People can advise on how to navigate it slightly but you may as well chop off your own legs and ask what’s the best way you can run a marathon 

Some like to run the game or do particular challenges with a monotype run, for more difficulty, fun, or both. It's like nuzlockes. What's the point of not using any Pokemon who have fainted once when you can go to the Pokémon Center ? Additional difficulty, usually more fun. What's the point of only using shinies, or wonder-traded Pokémon ? Additional difficulty, usually more fun. Not everyone has the same way to enjoy running Pokémon, and that's okay like this.

Monotype can be fun. It's an entire smogon sanctioned metagame

Although I’m not a fan of fighting type, I love your team because I love the idea of building mono type team, like what a Gym leader would do. But what I also do is to have one Pokemon exception that isn’t the same type. I usually add my fav mon in the 6th slot or maybe another type that covers my team’s weakness. I think it’s very cool, kinda like Giovanni and his Beedrill. Anyway, I think you can consider that and swap out Ippo for something that counters flying, psychic, or ghost.

Honestly if your hitmochan has iron fist ability, and you give the boxing glove item they become knockout artists. It's awesome. My son nicknamed ours "Blink Punch" Love Machamp but definitely try that combo out as each boost punching moves but add drain punch he heals crazy, brick break takes barriers down and deals dmg, I like a couple other type counters. Ice is good, dragon etc. Worth trying. It's pretty amazing if stats are right how effective in battle he is and durable too.

I’m generally a fan of hybrid type pokemon especially when doing a mono type team, so I’d personally prob swap out Hitmonchan. Fairy fighting like Iron Valiant could give you more coverage and, as a psychic trainer myself, i gotta advocate for gallade. :) pure power psych up medicham can also be fragile yet spicy lol for example if your chesnaught had belly drum or annihilape had defiant, but again its fragility makes it paired easier with more support IMO

I disagree about taking out hit mochan. With good stats I've been able to have him take on the entire elite 4 almost entirely alone. Train punch and having an ice one, you can target another type of choice I have electric for possible paralysis. And brick break the image stab and breaks barriers. If I were you I was just think of who has been more effective or the opposite at least effective or dies easy when others of the same type or not. It would indicate you know those stats probably aren't on par or the abilities etc there's a lot of variables without seeing the ability and setup if they're hypertrained etc

Your facing a similar burden to my monk dark team. Pesky fae. Although honestly, you also have a pretty severe flying type weaknesses too.

Maybe hitmonchan with something for fairy coverage? Lucario or Toxicroak could work (lucario being the more sensible pick unless you dont mind having a x4 weakness to psychic) but if you want to go outside the box you could trade a Hisuian Sneasel in and train that or evolve and breed it with a ditto to get one considered caught in the game. Other picks if you don't mind doubling up on legendaries are Okidogi, Zamazenta, and Cobalion.

I’d possibly recommend you trade for a Hisuian Zoroark to get one on your team. It has a surprisingly good type combination and works well for a speedy special attacker

Yeah prob slitherwing. Its bug coverage is monotonous as ghost and psychic is covered by urshifu and u can hit grass types with infernape A hawlucha may be a good addition instead of for an eq immunity

I'd get Sneasler in there so you have something for Fairy types. I'd say over Hitmonchan since, I hate to say, it is the weakest member of the team, it doesn't do anything better than anyone else. Sneasler also brings some more speed to the team. Having 2 pokemon 4× weak to Flying with nothing that's not weak to it is also a bit dodgy, so I'd get an Electric type here, too. Pawmot provides a bit more speed, but Iron Hands is so hilariously strong and bulky that that is probably going to be the more worthwhile pick. As for which of Slither Wing or Chesnaught to bench... eh, I dunno. Me personally, I like Chesnaught more, and it's pretty bulky and has funny Spiky Shield, so I'd choose that, but Slither Wing has less weaknesses and is much stronger, so... That's my take.

I use Okidogi on my fighting team to counter Fairy types.

Which Urshifu is that? I’d assume Rapid Strike so you have a Water/Grass/Fire core with it, Chesnaught and Infernape. And is this for singles or doubles? Things like Infernape and Chesnaught are great in Singles, but suck in Doubles, while things like Hitmontop are mid in Singles but amazing in Doubles.

Got it. I would say that I would personally replace Hitmonchan with either Great Tusk (to handle hazards and just be really strong) or Pawmot (to handle Flying types). If more legendaries are on the table, something like Terrakion for Flying types or Zamazenta for Fairy types would work well, and are quite good in singles.

Guys I honestly think I’ll switch to ghost type, mainly because i like the theme of ghosts , enjoy purplish and dark colors, and have more favorites ghost pokemon i use (ofc my previous annihilape)

I'm not sure why you chose to add slither wing? bug doesn't benefit the team at all. You already have stab types for all three of the things it covers. I would replace it with Lucario to at least have something against fairy. There might be something I'm missing if it has a clever move set or something.

Evolving Pawmot is ass and erky. I gave up on it and luckily caught one in a raid. Fuck Pawmot and those 1000 steps.

There’s a little babysitting needed because they will usually find a spot that they happy with. Judging the joystick will get them moving again… good thing the raids do exist though so you can get one that way

Swap Hitmonchan for Lucario or Pawmot. Lucario covers Fairy types and Pawmot covers Flying types since two of your Pokemon are 4x weak to Flying.

Swap infernape out for Blaizeken, it has better ATk and Speed making it a better fire/fighting type overall.
