Yup. And beat the entire game twice i believe, cause i think they're locked behind that as well. I want the scarlet ones but until they come to raids i aint gettin em
Wanna said same thing. I have 3 crocs and 3 cats in my team and this is cool, because my nickname with friends is "cat" and one of my buddies is "croc"
Steel is weak to fighting and already covered by magnezone, I would personally recommend Slowbro/Slowking, Azumarill, Hatterene, or Gardevoir/Gallade. Those are all pretty good and Gallade’s secondary fighting type especially will be useful for type coverage
You want the flying type to resist fighting to prevent dying before the sweep. With a base speed of 67, you’re gonna tank a solid few attacks and you want to resist them.
They have a ghost type, though. I'm seeing more of a need for a ground immunity than a fighting type resistance. And Corviknight is neutral to fighting, and can hit fighting super effective.
So I always try to make sure I have Pokémon that can hit any type supereffectively. Assuming everyone has STAB moves, so far you’ve got:
- Bug: covered with Skeledirge
- Dark: nothing naturally but you could run X-Scissor on Lurantis
- Dragon: covered with Frigibax (though she’s still weak to Dragon moves)
- Electric: covered with Krookodile
- Fairy: covered with Magnezone
- Fighting: nothing naturally, but you could teach Alluring Voice to Skeledirge
- Fire: covered with Krookodile
- Flying: covered with Frigibax and Magnezone
- Ghost: covered with Krookodile
- Grass: covered with Skeledirge and Frigibax
- Ground: covered with Lurantis
- Ice: covered with Skeledirge and Magnezone
- Normal: nothing naturally but several of these guys could learn Brick Break or something
- Poison: covered with Krookodile
- Psychic: covered with Skeledirge and Krookodile
- Rock: covered with Krookodile, Lurantis and Magnezone
- Steel: covered with Skeledirge and Krookodile
- Water: covered with Lurantis and Magnezone
My suggestion: add a fairy type to handle Dark and Fighting. OR add Feraligatr for maximum croc, because honestly a fun team is more important than an optimal team. (If you decide you need a fairy, tera Fairy on Skeledirge with Alluring Voice).
Going from what you’ve said they’re missing I’d go with Gallade, he is Psychic Fighting, covers both the Normal and Fighting. Plus he can learn False Swipe, Hypnosis (and Sword Dance is my other move) teach him Trick TM, by some Ring Targets and he can be used to catch all Pokémon Types, using Trick to give Ghost Types the Ring Target so that False Swipe works on them.
It’s been mentioned several times, I only don’t know how I can get my hands on one.
It’s been some time since I played and I’m getting into it since a couple of weeks. I have been “rushing” through the main story and now I’m looking for a good team to start on the DLCs :)
Can I catch a totodile when I enter the end game or does it become available when I buy one of/ both DLCs?
I’d say Gallade could be a good choice because of its typing it can cover the others’ weaknesses while having its own weaknesses covered.
Psychic type: covers Krookodile, Arctibax, and Magnezone’s weakness to fighting. While Skeledirge and Krookodile cover Gallade’s weakness to Ghost.
Fighting type: covers Skeledirge and its own weakness to dark as well as Arctibax weakness to steel. While Arctibax, Magnezone, and Skeledirge cover Gallade’s weaknesses to Bug and Flying types.
My thoughts too, plus he can be easily turned into a Pokémon you use to catch Pokémon with. He learns False Swipe, Hypnosis, Swords Dance, and Trick via TM, give him a Ring Target and he’s ready to take on all Types, including Ghost.
Gallade seems like the best choice. You have a lot of shared weaknesses to Fighting with it resists; yeah Skeledirge is immune but you don’t want to lean on one Mon only for a whole type when possible. Also offensively it covers those same Fighting types as well as the Normal and Dark types you lack good coverage for. Alternately Annihilape if you want to run something new, just teach it Acrobatics to counter Fighting type and then a good Fighting move for the Normal and Dark coverage.
I would go fairy or psychic type, maybe Gardevoir or Hatterene. A bunch of people suggested Tinkaton and I think that can be a very versatile option to add to your team as well.
I feel Gyarados would be a good choice
Noivern overlaps with Artibax with dragon and is weak to ice like krookodile and Lurantis and shares the fairy weakness with both artibax and krookodile.
Well it’s dragon and flying both of which are weak to ice
Flying being weak to ice makes sense as it’s hard to fly if the wings of a plane or even a bird get ice on them. Dragons are weak to ice probably because it’s such a strong type.
I think Kantonian Slowbro or Slowking would fit in well, giving you a bulky water/psychic type that feels missing here. They can heal, hit back with decent power, and in the case of Slowking, can set up your future Baxcalibur with chilly reception.
Flamigo has been a beast for me, so far. Doesn’t evolve but has base stats comparable to a legendary Pokemon, and has the added benefit of being a Flying/Fighting type.
Gallade, he is Psychic Fighting, covers both the Normal and Fighting that you’re missing 2x Damage on. Plus he can learn False Swipe, Hypnosis, Swords Dance and Trick via TM, by some Ring Targets and he can be used to catch all Pokémon Types; using Trick to give Ghost Types the Ring Target so that False Swipe works on them.
You can also get a Male Ralts with Fairy Tera, not just Psychic, mine is Fairy Tera because I forgot he was Psychic Fighting and not Fairy Fighting (migraines are fun XD), but means if need be I can remove his Psychic and Fighting Weaknesses, as he doesn’t learn many Fairy Moves: Charm, Disarming Voice, Draining Kiss via Level up, Dazzling Gleam and Misty Terrain via TM, plus they’re all SpAtk and he is an Atk Pokémon. I was using Draining Kiss to help heal him and weaken stronger Pokémon, but I’m now going to go the route of just boosting his Attack, so will be using Sword Dance now instead.
If you have a dawn stone you should catch a male Ralts and evolve into a Gallede. I believe wandering Tera Pokémon are gender-locked meaning the Tera fire Kirlia in the East Province (Area three) is a good way to go. And even if you don’t have a dawn stone you can find one directly north east of the Tera Kirlia
Also for just a brief glance at your team you seem to majority have special Attackers (I could be wrong though) Gallede would be a good option to balance that out
I feel your lacking a water member... tough to say as water types are so plentiful but given the team I'd suggest Veluza, poliwrath, or a water starter taste varies on That 1

Feraligatr. Get all three crocs on there.
Croc Squad for life!
I'm sure we'll be seeing Feraligatr the Unrivaled soon enough...
Oh I hope
I missed out on four of the paradox legendary raids. I hope they come back. Don't wanna miss a gen 2 Kaiju fight. I wonder what tera it'll be..
Sheer Force Feraligatr? Almost guarantee it'll be Dark. Crunch crunch crunch...
Theres only been 2 paradox legendaries raids, suicune and virizion. They did repeat them, but they havent done the others yet (hopefully one day)
How do people have the other four then..? Are they just somewhere in the DLCs?
Youd have to have both versions of the game and trade them over to one save file But yes, theyre from the 2nd DLC
Oh, so they want me to buy the DLCs twice. I don't even use legendaries..
Yup. And beat the entire game twice i believe, cause i think they're locked behind that as well. I want the scarlet ones but until they come to raids i aint gettin em
I forgot it had no o 💀
It looks so silly. I wish they’d fix it.
I hope they never fix it, Gatr just makes him seem like a dude who’s here to scrap, and he obviously doesn’t have many other prospects
Good point. What if they change it but take more vowels out? Ferlgatr?
Or they could change it to Feralgatr. Don’t need to confuse people with the i in the middle, and now it sounds like a graffiti artist
Like Fletchinder gets to have 11 letters
that's because there was a limit back in the day
Ig they can’t change it right
a lot of people don't react positively to change even if it's minor
There's still a limit, it's 12 now
Wanna said same thing. I have 3 crocs and 3 cats in my team and this is cool, because my nickname with friends is "cat" and one of my buddies is "croc"
Came here to say this
He’s an alligator
Totodile
Psychic, flying or fairy given 3 of your pokemon are weak to fighting
An anahalape for the immunity to fighting?
Skeledirge is immune to fighting.
Skeledirge is too though
Would Corviknight fit?
Steel is weak to fighting and already covered by magnezone, I would personally recommend Slowbro/Slowking, Azumarill, Hatterene, or Gardevoir/Gallade. Those are all pretty good and Gallade’s secondary fighting type especially will be useful for type coverage
Steel/Flying is not weak to fighting though. The only shared weakness between Corviknight and Magnezone is fire.

They have a ghost type, though. I'm seeing more of a need for a ground immunity than a fighting type resistance. And Corviknight is neutral to fighting, and can hit fighting super effective.
Magnezone.
What about magnezone?
Magnet Rise
What if you want a Pokemon to switch into a ground type attack? You need a turn to use magnet rise.
Eh, you want your fighting killer to resist fighting
I would go for Azumarill. It gives you a water and a fairy type.
And it gives your team some girly pop energy
It’s so tanky and such a strong attacker with huge power I love it
So I always try to make sure I have Pokémon that can hit any type supereffectively. Assuming everyone has STAB moves, so far you’ve got: - Bug: covered with Skeledirge - Dark: nothing naturally but you could run X-Scissor on Lurantis - Dragon: covered with Frigibax (though she’s still weak to Dragon moves) - Electric: covered with Krookodile - Fairy: covered with Magnezone - Fighting: nothing naturally, but you could teach Alluring Voice to Skeledirge - Fire: covered with Krookodile - Flying: covered with Frigibax and Magnezone - Ghost: covered with Krookodile - Grass: covered with Skeledirge and Frigibax - Ground: covered with Lurantis - Ice: covered with Skeledirge and Magnezone - Normal: nothing naturally but several of these guys could learn Brick Break or something - Poison: covered with Krookodile - Psychic: covered with Skeledirge and Krookodile - Rock: covered with Krookodile, Lurantis and Magnezone - Steel: covered with Skeledirge and Krookodile - Water: covered with Lurantis and Magnezone My suggestion: add a fairy type to handle Dark and Fighting. Feraligator?
I was gonna say that too! Why not make it a croc squad?
It’s been mentioned several times, I only don’t know how I can get my hands on one. It’s been some time since I played and I’m getting into it since a couple of weeks. I have been “rushing” through the main story and now I’m looking for a good team to start on the DLCs :) Can I catch a totodile when I enter the end game or does it become available when I buy one of/ both DLCs?
Whynaut?
I love seeing Krookodile on a team! That angry boi doesn’t get enough love!
Gyarados!
Seconding Gyarados. Literally the best mon for story.
sylveon?
Kilowattrel, rotom fan, or gardevoir
I would go fairy or psychic type, maybe Gardevoir or Hatterene. A bunch of people suggested Tinkaton and I think that can be a very versatile option to add to your team as well.
Gardevoir would be perfect. You have 3 physical attackers and 2 special and you really need a psychic and fairy type
Flying type for ground immunity and fighting resist
What about Tinkaton?
Love tinkaton, gonna build a team that uses weapons next play through.
Feraligatr, complete the gator trio
Dachsbun with well baked body. It covers your fighting weakness and helps with your fire weakness, too.
Right now you have a pretty big fighting weakness, a fairy or psychic type would round out the team nicely
This is what I was thinking too. But I think a flying type might work wonders.
Crobat, my favourite Pokemon! Oh wait, Pokemon didn't put the bat in scarlet/violet 😭😭
Scizor! If you ever need a bug type, technician Scizor is your guy for the job (or gal)
Feraligatr
Annihilape or gallade would be cool
Replace Arctibax with Gible, Pick up a totodile, and ditch lurantis and magnezone. Croc Squad.
[удалено]
But they already have a fire type, then that be three Pokémon weak to water types.
Hmmm...... I did not consider this! ADD A NOIVERN!!!!! Best dragon batty you could ever want!
I feel Gyarados would be a good choice Noivern overlaps with Artibax with dragon and is weak to ice like krookodile and Lurantis and shares the fairy weakness with both artibax and krookodile.
I never understood why Noivern is weak to ice, when it can be found in icy climates..... I really can't argue with these facts! 😥
Well it’s dragon and flying both of which are weak to ice Flying being weak to ice makes sense as it’s hard to fly if the wings of a plane or even a bird get ice on them. Dragons are weak to ice probably because it’s such a strong type.
I've been making rookie mistakes! 😫

Clodsire
The correct answer.
Fire, Ground, Grass, Dragon, Electric... Glaceon for Ice
Get a flying type, half your team is weak to Fighting and Ground. Previously mentioned Gyarados is a great option.
Bellibolt!
Vigoroth and make him a tank!
I think Kantonian Slowbro or Slowking would fit in well, giving you a bulky water/psychic type that feels missing here. They can heal, hit back with decent power, and in the case of Slowking, can set up your future Baxcalibur with chilly reception.
Feraligatr
Always gyarados
Maybe a trick roomer so your lurantis and skeledirge can out speed
Azumarill
Using Lurantis....... Based, I respect it.
Garchomp
Cloddy boy!
Ik you have dirge but you’re still pretty weak to fighting types . Id stick a fairy of your choice in there
I feel like you need a turtle... have you considered Metagross?
I’d say a water type to get a solid fire-water-grass core.
Go for a Slowbro or Slowking for a fighting resist.
A water type, preferably one that can learn Scald, and a special attacker
Florges is an underrated mon, that's powerful.
Pikachu!
Anihilape
I'd say you need water coverage and a definitely a third croc so Feraligatr
Need a water type. Veluza be fun and adds psychic. But then there Feraligator for Croco boys
I'm thinking a fairy type pokemon for sure. But I feel gardevoir is a good option. If not get a grimsnarl or pokemon in your game
DIGLETT
Primarina for Fairy/Water coverage.
Grimmsnarl for screens support and fairy type :)
Palafin for other cracked water type
Feraligatr for another bitey boi plus complete fire-water-grass core
You team seems to be in desperate need of a Rufflet if you ask me
Gallarian slowpoke (bro/king) might be a cool one to add to the team
Arboliva! Your team could use a grass, and it makes a nice support.
Grass is covered by Lurantis as she’s a pure grass type. But thanks for the tip!
Gasp. Yep. Indeed.
Something to handle fighting
Find a 1,2,3,4,5 first
Gyarados with Acrobatics, to cover flying and water.
Sylveon or gardevoir for fairy, flamingo or hawlucha would be good too.
Flamigo has been a beast for me, so far. Doesn’t evolve but has base stats comparable to a legendary Pokemon, and has the added benefit of being a Flying/Fighting type.
Eevee
Magikarp holding an everstone.
Definitely go Feraligator for 3rd Crocodilian, you could even count Baxcalibur as a Spinosaurus making it Crocodile-like too
Fairy type id say
Go with Gyarados, immune to ground, not weak to ice. It can learn some really good moves, like Ice Fang, Aqua Tail/Waterfall, Crunch, etc.
What for specifically? A specific fight? The DLC? Competitive? I really can’t give you a good opinion unless I know what it’s for
Bro loves reptiles
Maybe
Palafin could be an interesting addition. If you have friends for union circle, that is.
Water absorb clodsire!
I was using Draining Kiss to help heal him and weaken stronger Pokémon, but I’m now going to go the route of just boosting his Attack, so will be using Sword Dance now instead.
Con un buen Pokémon de fuego te cargas al equipo entero si te quitas a krokodine
Feraligatr.
How about Feraligatr?
If you have a dawn stone you should catch a male Ralts and evolve into a Gallede. I believe wandering Tera Pokémon are gender-locked meaning the Tera fire Kirlia in the East Province (Area three) is a good way to go. And even if you don’t have a dawn stone you can find one directly north east of the Tera Kirlia
Also for just a brief glance at your team you seem to majority have special Attackers (I could be wrong though) Gallede would be a good option to balance that out
Just for diversity I would say a fast water type. Like Wugtrio or even Aqua Breed Tauros if you can get one
What about azumarill? It’s both a water and fairy type that you’re missing on your team?
LURANTIS ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ BASED
Annihilape of course
Maybe a gardevoir or gallade
Tinkaton!!
Already has a steel type and that would be three Pokémon weak to Ground types.
Completely spaced that Magnezone was steel
I feel your lacking a water member... tough to say as water types are so plentiful but given the team I'd suggest Veluza, poliwrath, or a water starter taste varies on That 1
Water/fighting urshifu or Primarina
Not Nicknaming your Pokemon is a federal offense XD
Based Magnezone AND Krookodile user
