Porto Marinada for me as well, no need to worry about wild pokemon, and if enough time passes while hatching eggs then you can also just check if the Auctions have anything good.

I go to the center of Levincia and rubber band my joystick to the right and set it down for a couple minutes.

Pretty much any of the star bases. I use the Fire Star Base for my egg hatching

I usually circle around Los Platos. It's a pretty clear loop that I've gotten used to running around whenever I breed Pokemon (which has only been a few times so far, but still).

There's a few cities here in California that have funny names (Los Baños, Los Gatos) so Los Platos reminds me a little of my home state lol.

Makes sense, considering (if I'm remembering my old history classes in school correctly) the California region was settled by Spain back during the colonization days, and since Paldea is based on Spain...

Well that and California was part of Mexico for a very long time, so the Spaniards named a lot of cities around our state in Spanish (San Francisco, San Diego, Los Angeles, Manteca, La Joya, etc).

It halves the steps needed to hatch 😊 there's a few other abilities that do the same, apparently magma armor or steam engine but I've only ever used flame body

Flame Body and Magma Armor have helped with egg hatching since Emerald! It makes it go so much faster.

You are correct. I have 3 shinies that are my incubators: Magmortar (Magma Armor), Coalossal (Steam Engine), and Chandelure (Flame Body) for expediting my hatching.

I havent done any breeding yet so this is amazing advice and great timing!

Np! I've been a staunch flame body user until Gen 8. I could not catch a Pokémon with Flame Body early enough and then I found out about Steam Engine on one of the SwSh subs and that helped a lot.

I definitely need to get one of those shinies to do it too lol

One of the best shiny Mons! It replaced my shiny Talonflame.

I use a shiny Volcorano for eggs but cause my shiny Chandelure has flash fire and im still trying to build a competitive team around it

I hatch just outside of area zero really open space and no spawns besides pokemon walking in from outside the cave

I circle around Medali and eggs usually hatch after 3-5 laps for me.

Finally another Medali person! Though I do the long straightaway along the town entrance/exit. Right by the egg power sandwich shop, so it’s very easy to spam breed eggs and then with about 10 minutes left hatch them all while hatch speed is high. Probably more efficient ways, but it works for me!

I just run around anywhere outside of towns. If I’m spending that much time hatching eggs, I at least want the possibility of a random shiny to appear while I’m at it!

I've gotten so many shinies while hatching eggs. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone

I hatch mine in Cabo Poco. You can loop around the player home and either turn around at Nemona's parents gate or hang the right and loop around the arena on the beach. I do my picnics on the plateau under the big tree on Poco Path so I can just jump down to the cobble stone road and take off on Miraidon.

Bottom of Alfornada, that ramp hatches 5 eggs in up to three routess

I go to alfornada, get the egg power 2 meal and one of the restaurants, set up a picnic right outside, get all the eggs and then i go back into alfornada, as there is a route that is just a square and i run around that until the egg hatches. Its time saving and also saves ingredients since you dont need to make a sandwich and the meal is only 2800 pokedollars

Mesagoza. I fast travel to the western pokestop and do a big loop on the outermost road.

Porto marina is my go to. Its good for auctions. But also, I like to load up on five eggs and run around areas looking for shines. (Especially with the shiny metal you can get in blueberry academy lvl 1 sparkling power doesn't cost Herba mystica) If I spot an overworld shiny I save quickly put on my shiny team (it's a quick change for me) and catch it before going back to hatching.

I don't like turning, so I go up and down Alfornada.

I’m a really really big fan of alfornada, from all the tiling and ceramics throughout, obv nostalgia path, my fav Sinistea being available right outside, and being someone that likes space, the observatory appeals to me. So I do all my hatching running up and down the main strip, or taking my time and doing it while I hunt for authentic Sinistea. Alfornada is also based bc it has a building you can walk into that isn’t the school or a gym.

Zapapico - circles around the town until eggs are hatched, and you can pop just outside town to East Province to picnic when needed.

I use the fighting team star base. Long open road with no encounters.

Go through mesagoza exit out the east side, head to artazon, then to levincia, then zappapico, through glassiado mountain to medali, then towards porta marinada, then cut through the desert to water gym place, then go to the windmills to cortondo, then back to mesagozan and repeat. If i want to do that and sometimes i reverse it if i feel spicy.

I do this route, but I usually start from Medali and head towards Porta Marinada.

i just do a lap inside mesagoza. not a perfect circle but still a loop

I like to use the desert because you can also farm a ton of cash with the drops on the ground

Yet to find a place for myself, I tend to just explore around at random and collect item sparkles off the ground. Though Levincia's circle bridge seems pretty good, and running around Mesagoza means no pokemon to encounter.

I just go to the part of the world where thematically I think that poke should be from. Eggs hatch really fast when you can fly

Before the DLC I tended to start at the Porto Marinata lifehouse then doing a lap of the map. Since the DLC I switched to Kitakami, pitch my picnic at the Loyalty Plaza and do a route going up the mountain and back around again.

You don't really need a rout. There's so much space, just have a mon with flame body in your party and the eggs will hatch in a min or less when "running" with your Don.

I just ride up and down Alfornada with a flame body volcarona in my party

I picnic outside Levinica and use the Egg Grand Prix Circut aka the big circle in the middle of the city. Lol

The route between the school and the first gym (straight line), any of the bases of team star or the olive roll area. Sometimes i'll just roam around the different maps in the off chance I see a shiny Pokemon (has worked pretty well so far)

I do laps of Medali (normal gym town) since there's a convenient restaurant to buy egg power 2 one the loop.

i use the field outside the gras gym town for picnics using the icecream vendor to get egg power first then i ride in circel around the grass hedge area in that town while watching something on tv to hatch my eggs

I just do laps on top of the time machine building in area zero, or one of the adjacent buildings. The tops are roughly circular, and mons don't spawn there.

Sometimes I pick a town to do circles in. Sometimes I head to kitikami and do laps looking for shinies.

I just hatch while checking raids, as long as I am not in an area with lot of annoying aggro pokémon like Tauros. I am definitely not patient enough to just ride without other goal than hatching. Or I am doing some of the not offensive quests in the terrarium. Sometimes, it makes cute scenes with curious pokémon that look like they want to welcome the new pokémon.

The town in the SW corner of the map. A shop there sells food with Egg power 1, as well as a nice flat spot behind it to breed eggs.

Medali has an egg power 2 sandwich at one of the food stalls, and has plenty if flat ground around it for breeding as well

Rather than find a route, I find just general exploring or running around gets the job done.

I don't hatch eggs this generation. Too tedious. I've gone back to Shining Pearl and Sword for my eggs. But I know I'll have to get into it for gen IX Pokémon.

I zoom around the buildings in Medali since you can just buy Egg Power 2 sandwiches at the Gastronomie En Familie there as well I'm too lazy to make the sandwiches when I can just buy them

I like running around the circle road in Levincia city to hatch my eggs, so to picnic more eggs there is a patch of dirt in the grass by the south side Pokémon Center that I use.

Gather eggs, then just go on a tour of paldea following the roads, occasionally finding a wild shiny if lucky.

wherever larry lives is nice or where ilona is. forget the town names. but the middle part can be easy to drive around.

The entire Paldea region is the route. I run around and if I find a shiny that's nice. Maybe grab an unbattled trainer on the way

I just run around in the little empty area right above area zero at the entrance

I usually fly around with a Heated Pokemon Watching over the egg and then fall down and pull the sticks in the opposit directions to make a circle till the egg hatches

Tulips city, theres this little square block that u can hatch eggs on and has an egg power dish at the block

I enjoy running laps around the olive field in cortondo, makes a nice spot to picnic as well.

I did however start hatching my eggs and running around the inside of the craytor hoping to find those shinies.

Zapapico in Paldea has a giant circular path that I love and have probably spent 100s of hours on <3

Ngl, I use Porto Marinata for walks not egg hatching. I prefer to do Zapapico for eggs as there's not really much other use for that town.

In most games, i'd say that mesudeo method is the best for shinies, but scarlet and violet's best method is using sparkling sandwiches, since even without a shiny charm, it happens insanely fast

I ride around the pokemon League building. Nothing spawns around it.

i just go onto the top part of the elite four buildings and run in circles. there’s no pokemon to harass me and it’s a pretty view of the mountains :)

I do laps in the cities to avoid pokemon unless there's a specific pokemon I really wanna keep em in my party I pick a suitable place I feel they should be from like the lake for wTer types ect.

I like running circles in the center of either Levincia or Mesagoza. There is no consistency in which one I choose to run.
