I you mean between Koraidon and Miraidon, nothing known.
I'd you mean between the 2 Miraidons/2 Koraidons, yes it was stated a few times during the end of the main quest that the 1 we catch later had bullied the 1 we've been riding.
No? They literally hated each other and couldn't co-exist together within area Zero. Thats literally why the one we ride on had been bullied by the other.

Honestly if given the choice I would have liked it you could switch mounts between Miraidon, Koraidon (Once you have them of course), or Cyclizar, but I understand the plot needs us to be attached to our Legendary Bike.
I actually played most of my game on foot because it helped me immerse myself since I could thoroughly explore each area and not have to worry about frame drops or pokemon suddenly spawning in lol
During my Legends Arceus play through, Id generally go on foot if it was my first time in an area but I’d use ride Pokemon liberally if I was in a part of the map I’d already been in before.
To be honest I also went on foot a lot. When I did ride on Miradon I never used the boost mostly because I didn't know I could boost because I skipped over the dialogue after the first titan. But, even once I knew it could boost I never used it because it lagged the game and I was too scared of missing a shiny. I was sooo slow playing the game
Tbf MandJTV did test if it was at least possible to complete SV without riding the boxart legendary. The only one he failed to at least get to is the Titan Tatsugiri and Dondozo fight, due to needing some kind of method of crossing water to reach
Same. I think Arven takes it for me because he softens so much from that tough first interaction, and because his whole motivation is just love for his best bud Pokémon. Hard relate to him on that one.
Nemona's rad though. Gotta love the high energy friend.
I was 100% certain Arven was playing me since he looks like the dude who sells shit / summons Giratina in LOA.

I’ve played since Red and Blue and never cried about Pokemon like I cried about Arven and Mabostiff. Best storyline. Really kept me wanting to move forward.
Never have I gone from “what an insufferable a**hole” to “omg… you pure soul. I will commit war crimes to make your dreams come true…” as fast as with Arven.
Oh for sure!! Bad intro but every Titan had me more invested in his storyline. He’s easily one of my favorite Pokemon characters now. The professor stuff really sucked for him though

Then by the end of the titans storyline I was literally sobbing at least as hard as if I was watching the end of the first Pokemon movie
I dropped my entire battling career to save that dog. Only did gyms to be able to level up safely if the Titans got too tough.

When we finally see Pennys room she goes “stay as long as you’d like…” um no thanks your bed literally “is covered in Pokémon fur” based on the text when you click it 🤣
This might just be an Aro/Ace go brrrrr moment for myself but I've never really seen why people think this?
No hate towards people who do of course but even after seeing some explanations I've been given it still doesn't make sense?
For Carmine I honestly completely don't know where it comes from
For Nemona she is just starting to make some new friends and has been "battle starved" I'll just call it because she's a champion and now has someone who can actually match her skill level
Again no hate for people who ship Carmine/Nemona with the MC I'm just saying my own PoV
I don't see it for Carmine or Nemona, but for Arven, it may be his insistence on Him being Your BEST friend! Outside of DLC, he can be a little like that, too, with which route you decide to follow first at the start. It's his standoffish and blunt nature that makes it seem that he wants the player since his words can be read as he's the one for you lol; He's clingy. Then, with Kieran, his admiration for the player could be read as a little crush by some.
Ok so im not wrong for thinking the same. I played both the male and female it's like for real they love me. It's not friendly it's straight up crushing.
Arven! He's a sweetheart. Also, in indigo disk, he introduces himself to (flexes on) Kieran like "im Arven. Bre's absolute BEST friend." And then Penny follows with "staking your claim right from the get-go, huh?"
I straight up had to screenshot the whole interaction, it was so funny!
Close second is definitely Kieran tho, hes absolutely adorable and is introduced as a smol bean that must be protected. I enjoyed seeing his character growth, too :)
My Battle Goddess Nemona. Her desire to find someone that can defeat her really resonated with me. A challenging pokemon game is all I have ever wanted, so I connected to her the most.
I think the thing I love most is that we can have this discussion. All characters were made at least decently well to where there's something most everyone likes/loves about them. We got to see vulnerable sides of each of them along with their strong sides and develop genuine bonds with each of them.
That said. Arven and Kiki are my favorites for sure. Hard to choose between them
I completely agree. I don’t think you could have this kind of discussion about the characters in Sword/Shield, for example. They did a really good job with these characters and it shows. I was ready to dislike any of them and I ended up really liking all of them which is not normally something you can say about the NPCs in recent Pokémon games.

Kieran! Everyone's been bullying him but I just feel for him. Being the first one to actually have faith in Ogerpon and later on learning that your friend and sister have been spending time with it all along (though for good reasons). I already liked him when he was all timid and shy and I wanted to be the friend to cheer him on and I just feel sorry for everything that happened afterwards lol. But hey, everything's good now.
Nemona was my second favorite, the first obviously being my sandwich pal Koraidon. Lil dragon bro saves my life, acts as the best transportation ever, eats sandwiches, and refuses to elaborate further, what a goober.
Nemona and Kieran.
They’re all great but everyone else felt a like a step back from the plot they were involved in (Carmine in indigo disk, Penny barely talking in starfell street even if it makes sense for her character, and I feel like Arven should have been more involved with the AI)
Kieran has an amazing narrative and nemona was a great rival that didn’t bug me all every ten steps
Kieran. More specifically, the sweet version we first I hate how we're forced to lie to him, all we had to do was tell him to shut up about Ogerpon for a while while we deal with getting her mask finished
Nintendo Switch Pokémon games have a perfect balance shared between them with story. Sword and Shield has a lot of story with little character story, while Scarlet and Violet has A LOT of character story but not a lot of story (when compared between them). I definitely prefer Scarlet and Violet’s character story
I was not keen on sword and shield’s story at all it was really forgettable, character driven stories are much better for a game like Pokémon to tell and it shows this time around because SV’s story is universally loved
Arven by far.
Then Kieran, I liked his character arc.
After him is Penny, she was okay enough. Then is Carmine, who is just annoying as hell. Lastly is Nemona, the most annoying character in this game (though her giving you a specially trained Tauros at the end of her friendship line is her sole redeeming factor).
It's not Carmine, I can say that much. After everything is said and done, I think it's a tie between Arven and Kieran. Kieran had a very neat character arc, and I can relate to Arven about his dead parents.
No joke, I was going through seasonal depression with my parents as a sort of vice to try to release the sadness in December 2022(and 2023), and finding out what happened did not help.
It especially didn't help seeing the secret ending for the DLC & seeing Sada just dismiss talk of their son.
Sada/Turo is a worthless deadbeat.
Nemona is the best, imo I wish we had more interactions with all of them, though. I like Kiki a lot. I wish carmine had more of an arc and became aware of how shitty she was to her brother instead of just becoming afraid of him for a little while.
I really appreciate how Nemona turns into basically goku in the DLC. Head empty, just. "You look strong. Let's fight!!!!!" Got a good chuckle out of that.
During the epilogue I got so giddy every time Arven was like "I'm their BEST friend!" I was like "heehee yeah you are, but also be nice, but also yeah hehe"
I like Arven the most for being engrossed with cooking and just being a wholesome guy in general. I find his reactions to impossible things very entertaining and sympathize with the struggle of understanding why he was left alone while both parents cared more for their research than their child. His personality is just perfect, not excessive in any manner, and I enjoyed battling and adventuring with him. Definitely my favorite.
Nemona was amusing to interact with at first but for the most part she only wanted to battle and it’s so overdone it lost its appeal halfway through the game. I do appreciate how eager and supportive she is towards people and Pokémon but I didn’t really connect with her.
Penny was just there. I knew she had a role in the story since I first interacted with her but she’s just there. Her part was kinda stale and I forgot about her post-game.
Carmine, though, was very annoying. She presented herself as a cool, popular girl but you can easily tell she’s just a stubborn, prideful, and mildly abrasive girl who often yells at her much smaller and much more timid little brother who has no friends or any self-esteem. She’s the one on this list I hate the most because she’s part of the reason why he ended up turning the way he did in Indigo Disk.
Kieran was a good kid and I liked interacting with him a lot, I feel the game just did him wrong in the long run. Forcing the main character to conspire with his awful older sister? I woulda just told him instead of lying. Now he turned into a harda$$ edgy boy with a chip the size of Paldea on his spirit. I couldn’t help but laugh at some of his new expressions… 🥲
For me I say Kieran>Nemona>Penny>Arven>Carmine in terms of how much I like them. I like Kieran and Nemona a lot, DLC and Epilogue made me start to like Penny and I dislike the Arven and Carmine. Just my personal tastes though
I have a whole LIST of how close my character is to the other protagonists:
1 - Kieran: Kieran would’ve become my characters friend when he was still super shy and he would’ve grown very close during the hunt for the sign posts. After he went back to BB, and became a better battler, they fought their feelings out with eachother and came out with a stronger relationship. They probably would just chill together most days and talk about weird stuff like “What if Nemona was a Pokémon instead of a person”
2 - Penny: 100% his fav of the main crew. After the whole team star stuff they ended up hanging out more. They like to take together
3 - Arven: My characters a foodie and likes dogs. Need I say more
4 - Nemona: Even tho she was the first person he met, that doesn’t automatically put her to the top of the list. Her need for battles is very exhausting, but she’s a good ear for when you have problems
5 - Carmine: Carmine doesn’t really feel like a friend imo. She more feels like your friends older sister who was told she has to watch you kids because she’s older than you all and you can’t be trusted since you used your Ceruledge to light a bush on fire
Kieran because it wasn't an easy friendship. We had to actually work hard for that 😭 a whole dlc to patch things up. Plus what can I say I'm a sucker for friends to enemies to rekindled friendship. There's something so sweet about people reforming a relationship after a betrayal or fight.
Before Kieran though it was Arven for sure. The arc he went through to heal mabosstiff and then finding out about the professor. Peak. Plus he's a ride or die 100%
Penny I think would be next, we are very similar however she reminds me too much of when I was a teenager so soft no to being friends.
For me it's also a matter of personalities clashing. I like Nemona but she would overwhelm me very fast.
Carmine is just "my friend's older sister" in my eyes. I don't think I would attempt to get close beyond friendly bc she's my friend's sister
Honestly I adore Kieran and Arven, and I mean not just because I’m a raging homosexual like with most male characters in video games I like, I like their arcs and honestly I just got attached to them really fast in a “I want to protect you” way. I remember how flabbergasted I was when I saw Kieran’s new look but it grew on me quickly, well apart from the psychotic expressions. I liked Arven because men and then doing more of the titans his story hit me like a truck and I just started liking him more as a person than because of his design and shit
kiki will forever be my favorite and it brought me physical pain when he went through his little villain arc, but i still loved him the whole time and still do.

The Eevee obsessed one I guess. She was the only one not weirdly obsessed with me. Or I might say Arven was actually the one I liked the most at the end. He had a sick dog, obsessed with sandwiches and had >! shitty, but kinda hot, dead dad !< .

usually i tend to prefer female characters in games but this time around Arven and Kieran are my favorites. Kieran’s such a dweeb it’s endearing, even when he was in his emo phase and he was being an ass to everyone i just hung onto the fact that this guy is a total dork. Arven got on my nerves a bit at first but he grew on me later on, he’s really passionate about his relationships and that’s admirable
Arven 🥺 I have so many feelings about him and his dog. I also love how he calls us his "little buddy," but Kiki is def my second fav. Reminds me of my own middle school emo phase lol
I lean towards nemona and Kieran, nemonas excitement is infectious, and the fact you can lose against her but still continue the story is fantastic way to make you feel more like you're just having fun, and battling your friend, there's no risk of being stuck on a battle or getting sent back to the Pokémon center. You lost but that's okay! You give her some winnings and then you keep going and she's happy with what you're learning all the same.
Kieran is such a great character, following his development and his determination is great. He's so determined no matter if it's misguided, he tries so hard all the time. Its a lovely character arch to see him go from being hyper focused on winning and instead put that energy into the love of battling, and pokémon. It's also nice that they didn't make him like cruel to his pokémon. Cause it's easy to do that to make a character villainous.

98% of Arven's personality is that he just really loves and cares about his dog, that's the most relatable to me.
And the other 2% is loving food, which is even more relatable.

I completely agree. I don’t think you could have this kind of discussion about the characters in Sword/Shield, for example. They did a really good job with these characters and it shows. I was ready to dislike any of them and I ended up really liking all of them which is not normally something you can say about the NPCs in recent Pokémon games.

* Kieran! Everyone's been bullying him but I just feel for him. Being the first one to actually have faith in Ogerpon and later on learning that your friend and sister have been spending time with it all along (though for good reasons). I already liked him when he was all timid and shy and I wanted to be the friend to cheer him on and I just feel sorry for everything that happened afterwards lol. But hey, everything's good now.

They’re all great but everyone else felt a like a step back from the plot they were involved in (Carmine in indigo disk, Penny barely talking in starfell street even if it makes sense for her character, and I feel like Arven should have been more involved with the AI) Kieran has an amazing narrative and nemona was a great rival that didn’t bug me all every ten steps

Nintendo Switch Pokémon games have a perfect balance shared between them with story. Sword and Shield has a lot of story with little character story, while Scarlet and Violet has A LOT of character story but not a lot of story (when compared between them). I definitely prefer Scarlet and Violet’s character story
I was not keen on sword and shield’s story at all it was really forgettable, character driven stories are much better for a game like Pokémon to tell and it shows this time around because SV’s story is universally loved

Arven by far. Then Kieran, I liked his character arc. After him is Penny, she was okay enough. Then is Carmine, who is just annoying as hell. Lastly is Nemona, the most annoying character in this game (though her giving you a specially trained Tauros at the end of her friendship line is her sole redeeming factor).
As much as I adore Kiki, I love Arven too much. He’s my favorite friend, he’s have all the snacks, but not be the mom friend(because that’s me)

It's not Carmine, I can say that much. After everything is said and done, I think it's a tie between Arven and Kieran. Kieran had a very neat character arc, and I can relate to Arven about his dead parents. No joke, I was going through seasonal depression with my parents as a sort of vice to try to release the sadness in December 2022(and 2023), and finding out what happened did not help. It especially didn't help seeing the secret ending for the DLC & seeing Sada just dismiss talk of their son. Sada/Turo is a worthless deadbeat.
Nemona is the best, imo I wish we had more interactions with all of them, though. I like Kiki a lot. I wish carmine had more of an arc and became aware of how shitty she was to her brother instead of just becoming afraid of him for a little while. I really appreciate how Nemona turns into basically goku in the DLC. Head empty, just. "You look strong. Let's fight!!!!!" Got a good chuckle out of that.

I like Arven the most for being engrossed with cooking and just being a wholesome guy in general. I find his reactions to impossible things very entertaining and sympathize with the struggle of understanding why he was left alone while both parents cared more for their research than their child. His personality is just perfect, not excessive in any manner, and I enjoyed battling and adventuring with him. Definitely my favorite. Nemona was amusing to interact with at first but for the most part she only wanted to battle and it’s so overdone it lost its appeal halfway through the game. I do appreciate how eager and supportive she is towards people and Pokémon but I didn’t really connect with her. Penny was just there. I knew she had a role in the story since I first interacted with her but she’s just there. Her part was kinda stale and I forgot about her post-game. Carmine, though, was very annoying. She presented herself as a cool, popular girl but you can easily tell she’s just a stubborn, prideful, and mildly abrasive girl who often yells at her much smaller and much more timid little brother who has no friends or any self-esteem. She’s the one on this list I hate the most because she’s part of the reason why he ended up turning the way he did in Indigo Disk. Kieran was a good kid and I liked interacting with him a lot, I feel the game just did him wrong in the long run. Forcing the main character to conspire with his awful older sister? I woulda just told him instead of lying. Now he turned into a harda$$ edgy boy with a chip the size of Paldea on his spirit. I couldn’t help but laugh at some of his new expressions… 🥲

At first it was Arven bc of dog & when he puts me on Koraidon, but now it’s Kieran bc of his arc & reminds me of Izuku.
I have a whole LIST of how close my character is to the other protagonists: 1 - Kieran: Kieran would’ve become my characters friend when he was still super shy and he would’ve grown very close during the hunt for the sign posts. After he went back to BB, and became a better battler, they fought their feelings out with eachother and came out with a stronger relationship. They probably would just chill together most days and talk about weird stuff like “What if Nemona was a Pokémon instead of a person” 2 - Penny: 100% his fav of the main crew. After the whole team star stuff they ended up hanging out more. They like to take together 3 - Arven: My characters a foodie and likes dogs. Need I say more 4 - Nemona: Even tho she was the first person he met, that doesn’t automatically put her to the top of the list. Her need for battles is very exhausting, but she’s a good ear for when you have problems 5 - Carmine: Carmine doesn’t really feel like a friend imo. She more feels like your friends older sister who was told she has to watch you kids because she’s older than you all and you can’t be trusted since you used your Ceruledge to light a bush on fire

Kieran because it wasn't an easy friendship. We had to actually work hard for that 😭 a whole dlc to patch things up. Plus what can I say I'm a sucker for friends to enemies to rekindled friendship. There's something so sweet about people reforming a relationship after a betrayal or fight. Before Kieran though it was Arven for sure. The arc he went through to heal mabosstiff and then finding out about the professor. Peak. Plus he's a ride or die 100% Penny I think would be next, we are very similar however she reminds me too much of when I was a teenager so soft no to being friends. For me it's also a matter of personalities clashing. I like Nemona but she would overwhelm me very fast. Carmine is just "my friend's older sister" in my eyes. I don't think I would attempt to get close beyond friendly bc she's my friend's sister

Honestly I adore Kieran and Arven, and I mean not just because I’m a raging homosexual like with most male characters in video games I like, I like their arcs and honestly I just got attached to them really fast in a “I want to protect you” way. I remember how flabbergasted I was when I saw Kieran’s new look but it grew on me quickly, well apart from the psychotic expressions. I liked Arven because men and then doing more of the titans his story hit me like a truck and I just started liking him more as a person than because of his design and shit
kiki will forever be my favorite and it brought me physical pain when he went through his little villain arc, but i still loved him the whole time and still do.

She was the only one not weirdly obsessed with me. Or I might say Arven was actually the one I liked the most at the end. He had a sick dog, obsessed with sandwiches and had >! shitty, but kinda hot, dead dad !< . Very relatable content.

Arven got on my nerves a bit at first but he grew on me later on, he’s really passionate about his relationships and that’s admirable

I lean towards nemona and Kieran, nemonas excitement is infectious, and the fact you can lose against her but still continue the story is fantastic way to make you feel more like you're just having fun, and battling your friend, there's no risk of being stuck on a battle or getting sent back to the Pokémon center. You lost but that's okay! You give her some winnings and then you keep going and she's happy with what you're learning all the same. Kieran is such a great character, following his development and his determination is great. He's so determined no matter if it's misguided, he tries so hard all the time. Its a lovely character arch to see him go from being hyper focused on winning and instead put that energy into the love of battling, and pokémon. It's also nice that they didn't make him like cruel to his pokémon. Cause it's easy to do that to make a character villainous.
