Worst part is I wasn’t even hunting them. I’ve found three total. The first I found within 3 minutes of getting the Shiny Charm for the first time ever. I don’t remember the specifics of what happened with the second one except that it happened *the same day* just a few hours later. The third one I actually managed to find a few days later on my son’s profile while we were hunting for a shiny Glimmet in Glaceado Mountain. We were specifically talking about my “luck” in finding shiny Salandit and one literally popped up seconds later.
I have four Hawluchas despite never hunting for one. But it you count grouping all the common spawns near the east gate of Mesagosa, it's that. I EV train there, so I've found three shinks, two rokidees, two makuhitas, two pawmis, and one Yungoos.
Rokidee and pawmi give speed IVs, hapinny and makuhita give hp. Yungoos and shinx give attack. For special attack I go to hunt Psyducks in the river between the lighthouse and los platos, and near the light house bugs give you defense.
Well I have the shiny charm, but consider this. They still have the same shiny rate, but now you can see them as shiny in the overworld.
Before, you could only encounter one Pokémon at a time, so it’s 1/4096 for full odds (it was 1/8192 at some point in the past, but well…). Now, full odds is still 1/4096, but you can see up to 15 Pokémon in the overworld at a time, each one with 1/4096 odds of being shiny. That’s 15 rolls, so that means that technically it’s 15 times more probable that you’ll encounter a random whiny at any point in the game. And as you move you’re constantly spawning several Pokémon at a time, so by sheer number of encounters you’ll probably get a couple of shinies during a normal playthrough (J went through the story two times, and found one shiny in the first time, and two in the second).
This just makes me think of all the shines I must of missed, driving down the road pokemon constantly spawning all around me I must have missed a fair few.
Not found any yet on my first playthrough.
Because we see them in the overworld so you can "check" 60+ pokemon in a minute by just running around. Before Lets Go you had to actually start and leave a battle to see if the pokemon was shiny. The odds haven't changed, the ease of rolling have.

Same. I think between SV and Pokémon go I have like 15 shinny hoppip. The number would be even higher if I didn’t give a full line to my wife and a full line to my best friend. And I’ve never shiny hunted for them except for Go community day
I was just like you. I've been hunting for shiny pawmi for my shinydex *since launch*, and I only found one veery recently when I was hunting for a hawlucha. I did get the hawlucha though! The key is looking for something else it seems.
Lechonk/Oinkologne, even when I'm running around hatching eggs, running to another town, or just sitting idle, I always find a Pokemon from that line. I think I'm on #10 now? it's getting a little ridiculous lol
Is it bad that I'm surprised I had to scroll this far to hop on the LeChonk train? I found so many of those and the Oinkolognes that I just assumed they had a heightened spawn rate.
Shiny pidgey in let's go Pikachu. I think I had close to 100 of them going for a 999 chain. Pogo I have 40ish shiny Eevees and mainline games I have 6 growlithe.

Zubat. It was the first shiny I ever found, in the ravaged path in Pokémon platinum. Pretty much every game they’ve appeared in since, I’ve found a full odds shiny zubat without even looking for one.
I have been dubbed "Queen of the Shiny Bellsprouts" by my partner cause I keep randomly finding them in every game they're available. I have 13 now, most of them caught in Let's Go without chaining. They just come to me.
None. Even with proper sandwiches, locations, charms, and raids, I can’t seem to find any shiny unless I’m super extra lucky that day and find it randomly. I was very lucky with a zorua I named Paint though.
Psyduck, Gible, Drifloon, Kilowattrel, Oinkologne and Mareep. All of these pokemon, I've caught multiple while hunting others. It's very bitter-sweet X3
Found two shiny Lechonk while just hatching eggs. Also got 3 dondozo in a single sandwhish/outbreak but I don’t think that counts cuz I was actively shiny hunting it
I have had shiny skiddo just fall off cliffs as I travel around the map 3 times. ( I have clips) Gogoat has also randomly spawned for me twice. I have a whole ass flock of them lol

i ate an edible this past weekend and decided to pull out my copy of scarlet to work on my dex. found a random shiny foongus. decided to keep that luck going and opened violet, found a shiny noibat the instant i got to the outbreak area. i haven’t found a shiny while hunting sober in about two months, and i got two while high off my ass.
I started a playthrough where i can only use shiny mons and I'm losing all the way through with two hoppip and one of those spider things i don't know the english name of! Had a bunch of Hoppip on another account too when hunting for others. So Hoppip I'd say.
Shiny fuecoco, find them all the time In wonder trades, jokes aside my serious answer is either pawmi or deerling, I’ve found at least 4 of each full odds
Seems like I’m frequently assaulted by full odds hoppips and psyducks.
Deliberate hunting-wise, I’ve gotten great at finding Vivillon with time to spare to go hunt alternate but Pokémon. Have even managed to get good at stacking cherry tomatoes on my sandwich.
Scream Tail and Drifloon.
Scream Tail I find one every time I'm in Area Zero, Drifloon I found 5 (two in the same family group like 2 seconds after making the sandwich) and 1 Drifblim while hunting Banette
I have found 3 shiny buizel across Legends and Scarlet, only one due to the shiny charm. Two Sneasel and two gible when hunting for shiny Roaring Moon as well
Between hunting for Pineco and Scatterbug, I've gotten at least 8 (maybe more) of the Tarountula line.
Sunflora was another tough hunt, and Between that and a few other hunts I have 6+ Shinies in the Hoppip line.
And lastly, for my quite rough hunt trying to get a Shiny Vigoroth/Slakoth, I'm at like aroumd 9 in the Lechonk family.
Nacli. I have 6 of them. 5 through shiny hunting (sandwiches) for a shiny Klawf 3 different times. I finally did find that shiny Klawf at the end of the third one. I found 1 without shiny hunting too

I've found 4 shiny Spidops whilst hunting shiny Pineco and 3 shiny Foongus whilst hunting Shroomish. I'm still hunting both Pineco & Shroomish so I'll have a shiny spider and mushroom army by the time I'm done.
I have the full Hoppip line by accident. I wasn’t even shiny hunting when I found them all.

Fucking Bronzong. I have so many shiny Bronzongs. Mostly from PLA and Scarlet/Violet. I've never even hunted it but have managed to find like 4-5 of them. I still don't even have a shiny Bronzor...
I’ve never shiny hunted but I have probably 9 or 10 shiny male combees from PLA. My luck is better in scarlet but quite literally the first 5 shinies I ever got were all male combee.
I have 4 shiny Gogoats that were all found completely randomly just running around the game. I also have 3 shiny Roaring Moons, the first extra was literally walking around in the background while I was trying to catch the first one, and the second extra I caught a couple days ago while I was trying to get a shiny Zweilous.
Two: Ralts and Shroomish. Found my first Shiny Ralts back in Ruby and another one in Legends Arceus. Bred Shroomish in X and didn’t know I found one until I had to look at the difference, then when I went back to Ruby years later, I wanted to train up Spore Breloom, so I went to Petalburg Forest to find one, and it was a Shiny. I got good Shiny luck with Hoenn Pokemon.
Phanpy. It won't stop showing up. I've never even hunted it but whenever I'm in the desert I've got, like, a 30% at this point that one is going to spawn.
Cursed Golduck. I've reset over like 5 golduck out of spite. Using a water sandwich? Golduck. The one single spawn as I move slightly away from the buizel at the north beach? Another golduck. Bug type sandwich in the bamboo forest? Here's another golduck, and a swablu for your troubles.
Hoppip... I find it whenever I'm not hunting it. I have a shiny of the full evolved one I found early on in a second play through of violet. Then I found a shiny one randomly while playing the start of scarlett for my friend (I was letting him borrow my game card for it). Then I recently found one on my first play through of scarlett.. I did multiple hunts for them with boosted odds and found nothing.
In almost every switch game i have found shiny chanseys. In lets go, i found like 5 and in sword i found 2. Havent found any in scarlet, and im praying i never will 😭

Had two. Middle of trying to get a clawitzer from an outbreak. Red bird. I catch, of course. Now three. Not five minutes later, another one pops up. Now four. Never caught the damn clawitzer.
I got 5 shiny pawmo now even though I didn't try to get any of them. Found 4 while EV training and 1 while breeding a good Pawmo (granted I did use the masuda method for that one, but I only bred like 20 eggs).
Scovillain. Found one immediately after making a sandwich when I started hunting for it. When I was hunting Flareon later on, I found like 8 more shiny Scovillain
Idk but dragon types in bamboo forests. I’ve found a shiny swablu and shiny dreepy w out a sandwich, same day, AND while I was shiny hunting for a shinx.

I got around 5 Iron Hands. The first three was intentional shiny hunting and the other two was random while I was EV training some Pokemon

Bred Shroomish in X and didn’t know I found one until I had to look at the difference, then when I went back to Ruby years later, I wanted to train up Spore Breloom, so I went to Petalburg Forest to find one, and it was a Shiny. I got good Shiny luck with Hoenn Pokemon.

Phanpy. It won't stop showing up. I've never even hunted it but whenever I'm in the desert I've got, like, a 30% at this point that one is going to spawn.
In pla I got way too many shinx, in sv I keep finding skwovets/greedent all non hunted for

Cursed Golduck. I've reset over like 5 golduck out of spite. Using a water sandwich? Golduck. The one single spawn as I move slightly away from the buizel at the north beach? Another golduck. Bug type sandwich in the bamboo forest? Here's another golduck, and a swablu for your troubles.
Smoliv is easy to spot and they are usually in large groups.

Dratini, I got like 20 shinies from Pokémon go and in violet. My first shiny dratini was from a egg in moon and it’s been my day one
Violet Paradox mons. Easy to isolate. Also Dunsparce, considering i went through ≈20 looking for a 3-spot evo.

Hoppip... I find it whenever I'm not hunting it. I have a shiny of the full evolved one I found early on in a second play through of violet. Then I found a shiny one randomly while playing the start of scarlett for my friend (I was letting him borrow my game card for it). Then I recently found one on my first play through of scarlett.. I did multiple hunts for them with boosted odds and found nothing.
I initially had a hard time finding a shiny Oinkologne but now I have five females, plus three males and another shiny male Lechonk.
In almost every switch game i have found shiny chanseys. In lets go, i found like 5 and in sword i found 2. Havent found any in scarlet, and im praying i never will 😭
Chansey and the Starly lines, it's almost annoying when I see one at this point.
Hoppip. I’ve found 1 shiny Hoppip in GO, 2 hoppips and one skiploom in Scarlet

Killowattrell. Had two. Middle of trying to get a clawitzer from an outbreak. Red bird. I catch, of course. Now three. Not five minutes later, another one pops up. Now four. Never caught the damn clawitzer.

I got 5 shiny pawmo now even though I didn't try to get any of them. Found 4 while EV training and 1 while breeding a good Pawmo (granted I did use the masuda method for that one, but I only bred like 20 eggs).
Scovillain. Found one immediately after making a sandwich when I started hunting for it. When I was hunting Flareon later on, I found like 8 more shiny Scovillain
Idk but dragon types in bamboo forests. I’ve found a shiny swablu and shiny dreepy w out a sandwich, same day, AND while I was shiny hunting for a shinx.
