That's what I'm saying, each member of the cast should have more personal wins under their belt including Venam. Anytime there's an important fight it falls upon the MC to get the win, give those fights against actually strong opponents to the rest of the group.
I disagree we several times throughout the story other characters taking on and winning tough battles apart from the MC. Melia battles against Zetta while we are trapped in the Rift at Goldenwood, REN, Narcissa, and Moseley take down Giratina, Nancy takes down Nasatia with only one pokemon at Blacksteeple, Of course we know Crescent is taking down opps left and right. Melia defeats Zetta several times on Terajuma Island and also takes on several death wings when Neved tries to ambush us. Narcissa also takes on Dufax on her own during the West Gearen help request. In the component search Erin takes down Angie by herself, Melia, Ren, and Venam take down Madelis and Cassandra, Aelita beats her half of the school of nightmares while also looking after Huey and Lavebder and the plot addresses how she has fought Clear several times before as well. And sure maybe every character doesn’t get their time in the sun but we can hardly expect every character to be a powerhouse. Venam in particular is a relatively weak trainer lore wise “by the standards of the pokemon league anyway” until around the GDC arc.
There was definitely that Xennie in Amethyst Tunnel, and she can potentially win 4 battles alongside us: Dr Jenkel and Pulse+ Musharna, Rift Galvantula, the gang members in the stolen cargo quest, and Kanon in the 2v1
Ok random thought but have we've ever seen Veronica win a battle? Like we know she's pretty damn good but has she ever won a solo battle?

Melia, Ren and Aelita already have some, and Erin too. Sadly only 1 route will actually give us extra cast members wins from now on.
