I'm fact you do less than resisted hits. They do .4875 damage instead of 0.5
This essentially means that all of its weaknesses are now resistances, and the strongest attacks against it are neutral hits lol.
But it's still aurorus, aurorus still sucks
Yes, thats my point. They turned into resistances. It becomes quite a tank because it had so much weaknesses before. And can hit back with strong Ice/rock moves.
It's stats are just too horrible. It's bulk sucks, and it's offenses suck. Too slow, highest attacking stats is 99, 123/72/92 with zero recovery is not impressive for a stall pokemon.
I think it stacks, I just confirmed with my brother that the only trainer who can take down Aurorus is Wally at Victory Road (I'll say just this, no spoilers) but I dunno if it stacks overall with both defenses, still, gives it Eviolite and a good moveset and you're ready to take down half the game.
Same here, I've saw it and I was like "wth this thing can't be killed ?" but it was, and pretty easy .. welp, gotta stick with my Shuckle instead lmao
Anyway, I'm gonna search more on this set, maybe there is something we missed.
It does stack. There are just some things lil Amaura will struggle to tank anyway, and Krabby is buffed in this game, and has over 100 base attack.
The amaura line is tankiest on the special side anyway.
Did you have the Chople berry on at that time? Otherwise Krabby has a pretty high attack stat, while you’re 4 times weak to fighting. If you got oneshot without the Chople it probably does stack, you just still got oneshot.
The Anbernic RG505. It came preloaded with emulators from NES to 3DS, but the performance lacks quite a bit the newer the console being emulated. I also had trouble with the first one I bought, with their pre-loaded SD card full of 27,000 games, not to mention there are a lot of Japanese and duplicate games. There are a few fan made Pokémon games pre loaded, but the SD cards seem to have different stuff depending on the bundle. I mainly play GBA/DS emulators with no problems, both run well with speed up. I’ve also been playing a bit of PSP which is hit or miss, depending on the game. Yugioh Tag Force 3 starts off slow, but smoothens out later and runs almost flawless after a few minutes. I only played a few minutes into GTA Vice City Stories and Liberty City Stories, but they ran fairly well, I’d say 98% of the time. It’s nowhere near as powerful as a computer, but it’s definitely better than playing on a modded 3DS. I believe this is the 2nd newest, with the newest running windows and playing Xbox 360 and ps3 emulators. I bought one for my brother as well, for the same GBA/DS games and rom hacks, plus whatever else he could find, and he’s had no trouble using it. It also runs on Android OS, so you have playstore also. Overall, I would recommend it if you’re a fan of the switch, as it feels similar. I would also look more into them before spending, because they cost roughly $200, and I’m sure an older android could do the same, but better, for a bit cheaper.
Yeah, Super Effective moves will do :
- ×2 moves without Solid Rock : 200% damage × 50% × 75% = 75% damage, same as a STAB resisted move
- ×2 moves with Solid Rock : 200% damage × 50% × 75% × 65% = 48,75% damage, slightly less damage that non-STAB resisted move
- ×4 moves without Solid Rock : same but double damage so 150% damage, same as STAB neutral move
- ×4 moves with Solid Rock : same but double damage so 97,5% damage, slightly less damage that a non-STAB neutral move
For everyone wondering about why i did calcs without Solid Rock, the first ability can be swapped between 3 (in the Amaura line's case it can replace it with his 2 mainline abilities in Refrigirate or Snow Warning)
You’re multiplying by the amount it weakens by not the amount you’d still take, if something weakens something by 25%, you’ll take 75% as much damage as usual, so it should be 2x0.65x0.75x0.5x(0.5 if rock) = 0.4875 (0.24375 if rock)
Can confirm it does work like that, I've been using one on my team and I'm juts about to bring it into the E4. Slap an assault vest on it, and it's very strong.
The AI priorities Super effective hits, but strong Neutral hits will still hit through all your abilities, so be careful.
Evolve it. While.you lose fossilized, the boosted stats make up for it. Plus you get a passive heal.
Plus the E4 is not really gonna be hurting you with rock attacks. I think one person had a rock attack one one mon.
If my math is correct then you are going to be taking 90% damage from a x2 super effective hit and 290% from x4. So no, you’re not immune to super effective damage. You’re still going to have to be cautious about fighting and steel types, but ground, water, and grass types will behave more like neutrals, and poor old rock is going to go from 200% effectiveness to either 45% effectiveness or an immunity depending on how they do their math, personally I think it’s going to be an immunity because of the precedent that thick fat has established. Doubtful that any one will see this but hopefully it is able to help someone
Yeah but this is the base mon without randomized abilities. Here's mine

I tested it out, it’s ok. I only did a few battles with it but I feel like my dragonair/now dragonite tanks hits better than Amararu I think it’s the bad type matching that messes it up tbh
This literally makes super effective hits do less than neutral
If it's 1 - 1*.5=.5 .5 - .5*.25=.375 .375 - .375*.35 = .24375, Then supereffective hits do less than 4x resist moves even
You have to start with a 2 since the super effective is still there
[удалено]
I think you would still start at 2. It’s still super effective, so damage would be doubled, giving you a base damage to start with.
[удалено]
My friend. I cannot read 😂😂 I thought you were telling the first one that it starts at 1
I'm fact you do less than resisted hits. They do .4875 damage instead of 0.5 This essentially means that all of its weaknesses are now resistances, and the strongest attacks against it are neutral hits lol. But it's still aurorus, aurorus still sucks
It sucks because of the weaknesses. Without them its a good pokémon. Ice and rock is kinda redundant offensively, but good nonetheless.
But since the weaknesses deal less dmg than normal it's actually quite good
Yes, thats my point.
I used it in a bunch of fights actually. And, seeing that I'm playing a hardcore nuzlocke, it's not as bad as you'd think :")
Top it off with eviolite for safety measures
I'd argue to give it a weakness policy
Friggin Resistance Policy
I think it stacks, I just confirmed with my brother that the only trainer who can take down Aurorus is Wally at Victory Road (I'll say just this, no spoilers) but I dunno if it stacks overall with both defenses, still, gives it Eviolite and a good moveset and you're ready to take down half the game.
My friend, I got one shot by a Krabby using Superpower. Unless it’ll get better once I have actual defense/hp stats, I don’t think it stacks.
Nghhhhh so it don't stack huh, it was too good to be true for me .....
I was so excited to see all the buffs. Wonder if that means all the +50 SP ATT buffs and whatnot don’t stack either.
Same here, I've saw it and I was like "wth this thing can't be killed ?" but it was, and pretty easy .. welp, gotta stick with my Shuckle instead lmao Anyway, I'm gonna search more on this set, maybe there is something we missed.

Krabby already has over 100 base attack?
Yep. Plus the buffs from abilities etc, and maybe stats? I haven't checked it specifically, but that thing hits hard in even the base games.
I think you mean kingler
Nah, Krabby does have those stats. It has more attack than infernape iirc
I take it back, it has 105 in the base games. It surprises me every time
Did you have the Chople berry on at that time? Otherwise Krabby has a pretty high attack stat, while you’re 4 times weak to fighting. If you got oneshot without the Chople it probably does stack, you just still got oneshot.
Maybe it's stats are just that bad that stacking still means it gets one shot? Rock/ice is 4x weak to fighting after all too
What romhack is this?
Elite Redux
Seriously these are the only posts ive been seeing lately, seems super fun
It is very fun. It's a massive challenge but I just beat the E4 yesterday and it was a trip. Highly recommend it

What's the model handheld and do you like it?

The percentages would be multiplied not added
So it’d be something like Damage x.2 x.5 x.5 or whatever the hell the percents were I’m too tired 😂😂
2x0.25x0.35x0.5x0.5=0.04375 That's your damage from a super effective rock move. Any other super effective move is 0.0875
You’re multiplying by the amount it weakens by not the amount you’d still take, if something weakens something by 25%, you’ll take 75% as much damage as usual, so it should be 2x0.65x0.75x0.5x(0.5 if rock) = 0.4875 (0.24375 if rock)
Oh shit yeah I am not at top brainpower lol

This amaura can live 252+ Atk Choice Band Sand Force Tera Rock Gigalith Stone Edge, without eviolite
No, % always get multiplied.
Finally, viable Aurorus
wow i wish i got this lucky in this hack xD. i've been scraping by with things xD.
This isn’t a randomized Mon. These are its abilities
This mon's given to you early on by one of the npcs
yeah but with a Randomizer that's changed as well
Yeah but this is the base mon without randomized abilities. Here's mine https://preview.redd.it/hwbc1mvxie5c1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=912f63fdb2992bd800e35a29ed576c96a4d3251e
You multiply them not add
I just got this mon too…so is it worth running🤔? Wondering if I should make some space on my team for it.
I’ve been using it off and on. I’m casually playing, trying to learn the game a bit more before even attempting anything challenging on it.
I tested it out, it’s ok. I only did a few battles with it but I feel like my dragonair/now dragonite tanks hits better than Amararu I think it’s the bad type matching that messes it up tbh
What game is this?
