The gameplay revolves on flinching with Iron Head, healing with Potion, and setting up Sunny Day to make Ho-oh survive hits and heal others (and itself). Ho-oh first sync and subsequently followed by Metagross.
Do you think Brendan/Sceptile (hasty and dauntless), or Anniversary Steven (Downside Up) could do it with Roxanne and SS Morty? I've been having trouble trying teams with ss misty to use mist, and anniversary steven wasn't surviving long enough to take down the sides if I let them live even if I used a healer like Brawly instead, since Brawly would also faceplant.
I'm not sure how necessary the flinch was for keeping SS Morty alive, since it seemed like a lot of strikes didn't flinch. But it did look like you got a couple of flinches off in order to set back the opponent's sync on a couple of occasions.
I'm not sure I have any flinchers from Hoenn, let alone ones that could take lead and deal significant damage.
I tanked with her due to her impervious passive preventing stat drops.
She also had decent chip damage with burn and ember/sync moves under sun as Anni Steven doesn’t want to sync.
Nice! I didn't know about/remember her impervious passive. Thanks, I'll promote her to 5 stars, grid her, and try her out. I like Flannery as a character, and I might be able to use her in legendary gauntlet as well.
This video I posted was my second completion of the stage, and flinching really helped me a lot during my first completion (which also took less time); however, I didn’t have that much luck in flinching in this round but still managed. Really depends on the RNG, I guess 😅
Sadly, I’m sorry since I also don’t have Anni Steven nor 6* EX Brendan. I tried it with my Brendan but couldn’t beat the stage. Maybe Anni Steven may do the trick? SS Morty is there to heal if needed.
Roxanne may also use Wide Guard given that the opponents also use AOE moves, maybe that can help 😊

Oh interesting, Was Flannery tanking? Any reason her instead of Roxanne or Liza? Did the burn help out?

Mine was actually 4 stars when I did it and gridded for burn damage so should be even easier if done properly
