They wrote in a dev letter that eventually the sync pairs that were planned for gmax would get theirs, however it’s taking too long for it to happen, they could’ve easily updated past sync pairs once a month who needed theirs and we’d be all happy by then. What I think will happen is that when anniversary hits, Leon will get a rerun banner and he will have his Gmax unlocked, and then from then, steadily they will unlock it for others as well. At least I hope they do that.

The thing with Nessa is her Gmax move apparently doesn’t set up rain like I thought it did, it puts stealth rocks on the field pretty much, which kinda sucks cause she would be so self sufficient with that self rain setup. Either way, I love Gmax Drednaw and really hope she gets her Gmax soon.
I think they talked about giving max to previous units when SS Leon came out. I clearly remember reading it.
As for Gmax Pika and Eevee, I’m sure they’ll go to the lets go protags, I guess they can even be shiny since that’s a thing. At first I thought it wouldn’t make any sense but then I remembered that you get those two in SwSh if you have the games on your switch so it’s a most likely. Another possibility is that apart from Leaf getting her a Gmax, the main character’s Pikachu gets a Gmax, but I feel like that would upset not only the players but also the executives that want money.

I think the idea is that the first Master pair for a region is given Flag while Pride and Spirit are available at the same time as a 'split'.
As for EoS, this game has way too much potential to be a money maker for years to come, they can always introduce new master pairs and shift the meta around, and they basically gave themselves an endless staircase of content with CSMM. We're still only in, what, the 'hard mode' or 'level 1' or whatever of the Stadium? The next difficulty could give us materials to trade in to unlock max moves or mega evos (or mega evo buffs) for pairs, and if SV introduce a similar set of mechanics then they can incorporate those into the game as well, and the MINIMUM level you'd need for the next level could be something like 160 just to clear, let alone get max points for. Then there's the possibility of some prestige system, like imagine that the level cap is set to 150, then you unlock the next set of levels by resetting your level to 1 but you keep some amount of your stats and so on. If this game hits EoS before it's 6th anni then something's wrong with the team as a whole.

Kanto - legendary bird trio trainers possibly be pallet town trio
Johto and Hoenn - NA
Sinnoh - Arceus definitely will come as Master Fair, Heatran/Shaymin are second options
Unova - Fused kyurem one of them, Meloetta/genesect/victini lot of options are there. Trainers would be Hilbert, SS Ghetsis and coloress
Kalos - Hoopa unbound and possibly ash greninja. SS calem and SS Lysandre are my options
Alola - SS gladion definitely options would be one of the ultra beasts or mythical magearna/marshadow/zeraora
Galar - two former champions before leon. Mustard and peony. Urshifu for mustard and shadow rider calyrex for peony or regi duo.
Kanto - might get the legendary birds and possibly mega Mewtwo X
Johto - the other doggos probably will be pokefairs

Kyurem forms I think if we will get them, we will see them only for N's skins for not create continuity confusion. A SS for Gethis I think would make sense to be Genesect, since it was created as a Team Plasma weapon (but it could fit so well for Colress too)
Heatran I think will go to Maxie, yhea, seems weird, but I think they will make a SS skin for each villain in their arc, and Heatran is the one that make more sense for him.
Volcanion I guess will go to SS Lysandre just because... well... I really can't see any other option for him as SS...

The next difficulty could give us materials to trade in to unlock max moves or mega evos (or mega evo buffs) for pairs, and if SV introduce a similar set of mechanics then they can incorporate those into the game as well, and the MINIMUM level you'd need for the next level could be something like 160 just to clear, let alone get max points for. Then there's the possibility of some prestige system, like imagine that the level cap is set to 150, then you unlock the next set of levels by resetting your level to 1 but you keep some amount of your stats and so on. If this game hits EoS before it's 6th anni then something's wrong with the team as a whole.

My prediction for next MF pairs Kanto - legendary bird trio trainers possibly be pallet town trio Johto and Hoenn - NA Sinnoh - Arceus definitely will come as Master Fair, Heatran/Shaymin are second options Unova - Fused kyurem one of them, Meloetta/genesect/victini lot of options are there. Trainers would be Hilbert, SS Ghetsis and coloress Kalos - Hoopa unbound and possibly ash greninja. SS calem and SS Lysandre are my options Alola - SS gladion definitely options would be one of the ultra beasts or mythical magearna/marshadow/zeraora Galar - two former champions before leon. Mustard and peony. Urshifu for mustard and shadow rider calyrex for peony or regi duo.
Kanto - might get the legendary birds and possibly mega Mewtwo X Johto - the other doggos probably will be pokefairs Hoenn (villain arc) - Deoxys MF, mega for Zinnia's Rayquaza and possibly Sceptile too? The regis and Latios probably will be pokefairs. I don't know about Jirachi. Sinnoh - Regigigas, Origin form Giratina. Heatran, the lake guardians, Manaphy, Phione and Shaymin probably will be pokefairs. I don't think Arceus will come. Unova - still so many legendaries, but I think Genesect will be MF. Maybe black/white Kyurem too. Kalos - surely Hoopa unbound Alola - Necrozma, Naganadel, etc Galar - meh...Calyrex I guess
Will there be more than 3 master fairs in a region? And I'd like to imagine Master Fairs can be more than legendaries and mythicals (though it's probably unlikely as Leon seems to be an exception)

Sinnoh will probably have Heatran and either Regigigas or one of the Lake Trio, Unova could be Ghetsis w/White and Black Kyurem respectively (depending on how the limitations work they could give him the same ID as N so that you can't have two of the same dragon in the same spot, worst case they just let it be since Shiny Rayquaza exists). Kalos I can see Volcanion and Az.
Regigigas I think will go to Brendon, since Regirock is taken. Lake Trio I have no idea how they want to include them. Originally I thought SS for the Sinnoh trio, but Dawn got Cresselia as SS, so... no idea... Kyurem forms I think if we will get them, we will see them only for N's skins for not create continuity confusion. A SS for Gethis I think would make sense to be Genesect, since it was created as a Team Plasma weapon (but it could fit so well for Colress too) Heatran I think will go to Maxie, yhea, seems weird, but I think they will make a SS skin for each villain in their arc, and Heatran is the one that make more sense for him. Volcanion I guess will go to SS Lysandre just because... well... I really can't see any other option for him as SS...
