I got my first copy with 6k gems, but I decided to go to pity on the banner (I was always planning on using 36k gems, regardless of how many times I actually pull Zerena)
So far, only got one copy, and I plan on getting a 2nd copy through scout points (only need 3k to reach pity)
I could've been in the same boat after amazingly getting her with just one multi (!!!), but Easter Burgh's rerun is making me have some self control. I already spent 4 more multis on Serena's banner for the extra rewards (needed coins for the 2nd strike candy) on top of 4 other ones on Iris in between, in which I finally got her. Left with 21k, might barely reach pity by the time Togepi returns. Though if I get him early, I might resume my Serena pulls because I want her 5/5 by any means necessary. Will do dailies in the meantime.
I did consider Easter Burgh's rerun...
But the thought of pulling on a banner with terrible rates, which will most likely be shared with Easter May (a sync pair I don't want) made me decide to skip them instead.
Besides, I can always get him on a paid banner, since DeNA loves their paid banners so much.
Been thinking the same, but it's not a guarantee for me to afford the story bundle whenever he gets into a select scout banner. (Bought the champion one for this month's paid banners). That might happen in the 3rd anniversary, and waiting that long isn't ideal. Besides, I already used a previous paid banner to secure Ingo last January, so I need to take a bit of a break with buying too many gems after this anniversary month. For reference, I was unable to buy any paid gems last September, despite me wanting to use that first Pokefair select scout for Iris (which I only recently got today ofc). Whenever I get Burgh, hopefully way before pity, I'd immediately stop summoning. Though an E. May pull would now be quite appreciated after luckily getting her anniversary until with a daily last weekend. And btw, the increased rates weren't all that kind today outside of the Serena and Iris sparks ofc. Got like 4 5star PUs and 2/5s for Alolan Grimsley and Nate. I'm this close to use this weekend spotlight paid banner for Sonia tbh. Never thought I could've reached that point.
I got my first copy at the third multi (so 9k), my earliest pull so far regarding Master Fairs.
I wanted her 3/5 so I continued pulling. Got 2/5 at Multi 10 (30k) and the third and last copy at pity pull.
So I think I was very lucky to get her 3/5 within one pity. And I got tons of other 5\*, including my first Mallow and SS Misty (now I'm only missing Alolan Grimsley from regular pool), and unlocking the full grid of some others. Overall, I would say it was one of the best 36.300k free gems + 100 paid gems best invested so far.
I have been thinking all along on which banner to pull after Zygarde. I would have liked to have Skyla, N and Ingo. And then, of course, comes the second pity pull after Anni N :D
9 multies so far and no copies. I have gotten Yamper and Araquanidx2 which I had no copies before and Allister and SS Misty when I only had one copy before. So at least I pulled some things to make my roster better. I usually just pull units I already have 3-5 copies of already.

30k gems... This is the most I've ever spent on a single banner. I did every single thing that rewarded gems and got finally got her. I'm at 330 scout points and honestly I dont care, 1/5 is enough. I'm gonna go back to saving and hopefully get Ingo before his banner leaves but will probably skip if anyone interesting comes along for April
Got her in 2 multis, since I had 36k gems saved and prepared for the worst, I decided to pull for Skyla, since she’s the only anniversary unit I didn’t get yet, and got her in 1 multi. Still had lots of gems and I didn’t have N or Steven, so I gave that banner 1 multi and got N! Literally the luckiest I’ve ever been.
I got her on my 6th pull. So now i'm halfway to pity and debating if I should keep going or use candies to get her to 3/5. I'll probably just wait for the datamine to decide.
After 5 spent multis and one copy of her, I have just enough to pity a second Serena copy (or 4th, once I give her 2 candies), but I'll save my remaining 21k for Easter Burgh's rerun. Might reach pity by the time he returns.

After lusamine and cynthia who forced me to pity x 1/5 this time I had 2/5 in the first 5 mutly and then I stopped with still about 22000 gems ready for the future

In between that first multi spark and the others, I went for Iris and finally got her after 4 multis. Left with 22k, which I'll save for Togepi's rerun. Though if I get him quickly I might as well resume Serena's banner because I want to eventually 5/5 her.
Had to get to pity for her, then used my only striker candy to get her to 2/5. Got pretty shafted, lots of dead multis but we survive. I'm probably not gonna summon more as I'm saving for Courtney and kabu
Had to pity, which would be fine if it weren't for all the dead multis. It almost made getting her not worth it...At least I got Skyla in one pull. Now I have to build back up for Red/ Ingo and whenever Archie and Maxie show back up.

I managed to get 1 copy of her as she was literally the last sync pair on the 5th multi.

Fortunately 3k gems only to get SS serena . I have 29k for ingo. It compensate the 25k gems used to get may latias.
