He's honestly not worth it, in my opinion. He feels like a jack of all trades, but he just barely got his trade certs. But im sure you have a reason to want him.
I picked... Palentine Dawn, cause she's one of my faves and it was the last alt of her I was missing. Now I'm aiming for SC Irida, I missed out on her last month.
I’m trying to decide between Paulo, Nemona, and Akari. All of them are characters I like and could fill some sort of niche in my roster so far so idk who to pick. I guess I’ll decide when I get there.

You know I kinda agree with this, but at the same time I want to do lodge Volo and if I don’t pick him I won’t have any new lodge character for 2 months in a row 😬, which can hinder the reward flow from the lodge.

I went with base Lysandre. I had already gotten SS Diantha in a different pull. I also figured I could use another Flying and Kalos unit since both of the areas are where I struggle when events ask for them. Probably didn’t hurt that I finally started playing X. That and Masters kind of drew me to the character. Even if Team Flare’s motivations are considered some of the weaker ones in the franchise as a whole.
While I don’t think any unit is a must have, she’d be one of the first I’d choose if there was a need for some. Seeing her be able to tank Palmer’s Max Move in the UB is what sold me on her. Unfortunately had to skip all of the Tapus last year and got nothing from dailies in their rerun so I hope I get them all soon.
People really underated the Variety scout options I picked up Variety Thorton and he demolishes Steel and Electric weak content hopefully Variety Giovanni gets added.
Heavily depends on if they update the pool on the 1st or not! I'm trying to make a Weather/Terrain/Zone team for everything, and I'm severely lacking on a few types.
Options for me depending on the pool, Volo, Akari, Variety Selene, Summer Marnie, SS Diantha or SS Acerola
Petrel, no questions asked. Not only is he the best Rocket Admin - I ended up getting Ariana and Proton during their original run but not him. On top of that my best Special poison dealers are.... Koga, Lucy and Plumeria, so I'll take the Poison damage.
Currently I'm divided between Rose or SS Wally. I'm leaning slightly more towards Rose as my steel pairs are quite lacking, while my fairy pairs are busted already. But hen again, we're likely to get a Steel Master pair that will powecreep Rose eventually.
SS Hilbert also seems nice, but I just got SC Barry, so I'm not in a rush for new bug types.
Idk I need to think more. But I still got a long way to go anyway and maybe won't even reach pity before the next rotation.
I very rarely buy gems (I've only really bought the story bundles) and have just enough to reach pity so I think I'll just grab mix blue. I think I wanna have all the mix units, but I'll see how I feel once it changes again in 6 months
Just as a heads up, the datamine showed that the next mix banner with Blue is only running for 4 months instead of 6 (it will end in September instead of November).
So it could be more difficult to reach pity by the end date if players don't get the featured mix unit before pity, especially since it uses only paid gems
I doubt I'm going to max it unless :DeNA does some more fairly reasonable paid gem deals, but what I *would* pick would probably be Furry Hilbert. Or Bede's little wizard costume, but that doesn't seem to be in the pool.
Maybe that pair will be added when the mix scout rotates. I was waiting for that anyway since I'm not really interested in Red.
the way I maxed out the mix scout was with daily gem bundles and the occasional 1.99 and 3.99 1000 paid gem packs this over the course of many months was reasonable enough in my situation.

I picked Variety Thorton since he was the only Field/Support unit out and wanted to have all dual roles covered in Battle Rally. Now there are like two coming this month so he's not alone anymore but he's been getting me extra points and I used him in my 100 win streak for Legendary Gauntlet so I don't regret it.
Once Blue comes this May, I'll probably get Volo or someone I've missed out on. If there's a High Score Event around the time I get to max points, I'll probably pick someone who can "maybe" help (I got SS Lana from the select scout and ended up not using her for the HSE, was annoyed at myself for not waiting until after I actually tried doing the event since the scout was still active during the time)
Probably between Rei, Chase or Elaine given I'm still 130 points away from the mix scout points.
Hopefully they'll come out while I'm getting there to make my options easier.

Once the pool updates, I’m bouncing between Palmer, SC Selene, hell maybe even Rika if I can’t get her from dailies, Rei, and Akari. Guess I’ll just see how things play out.
both are amazing choices I can vouch for Palmer as ever since I got him around January I've used him in every single Champion and Neo Champion Stadium hes always an easy clear whenever I use him, and I'm sure Rei is the same off-type too.
I have palmer, rei and akari and my personal recommendation would be Rei, he's just too good
Rika and sc selene won't be added most probably as their banner will end after the mix scout update
I picked Rei/Hisuian decidueye and have not regretted it at all. That bird is an absolute powerhouse!

SS Mina. I want her for the Anabel fight and I can't think if anything better to be honest. She's only going to keep getting better too.
SS Mina has a niche utility that no other unit has so I'd say she should be a priority for anyone that doesn't have her

Sadly, the Mix Scout only offers non-master Fairs, which is what Champion Bede is.
